This place is horrible food was cold. We ordered two chopped bakers. They almost forgot the bbq sauce. I live less than a few minutes away. Upon arriving home the chopped baker was cold. I heated them up in the microwave and to say the least. The food was horrible. We have ate at Dickey's in Texas and had awesome food. The food here is so disappointing. We are trying to support businesses during this pandemic but Hell the food is horrible. Maybe the owner should eat there and see what it is like. Dickey's is a great casual/fast food joint. It has great brisket and jalapeño sausage. Fried okra is amazing, so always order that if you like fried okra. Best tip, get the spicy bbq sauce. If you don't like too spicy still get it and cut it with some of the sweet. Most disappointing part is if we go and they are out of what we want. Decided to try dickey's for the first time. I got the beef sandwich, with Mac and cheese and potatoe salad as sides. The brisket was dry , I had to put extra sauce on it. The mac and cheese tasted like a mix of powdered cheese and nacho cheese. The best thing was the potato salad. It was absolutely yummy. read more

Wow what can I say but this is without a doubt the best bbq chain I have ever had in my life. They do everything right here. I had the rib and brisket plat and wow was I surprised at the smoky goodness and the fact that the ribs came right off the bone. Nothing dried out, everything juicy and for a change great sides. I got killer jalapeno baked beans and a delish potato salad to go with my meats. The sweet tea is excellent and they have free ice cream for dessert. What more can you ask for? I frequent Dickey's in Dallas and always wonderful. I ordered via WaitR and the food was horrible. The pound of sliced beef was mostly fat. My sister threw it away before I could take a picture of it. I understand a little fat that you could crimp if necessary but there were large hunks of fat. I ordered 6 chopped beef sliders and they too were more fat than meat. I also ordered the onion rings/triangles and they were so overcooked as to be unedible. The cole slaw was fine. Thank goodness we have made a potato casserole and green bean casserole to eat with this or we would have had nothing to eat. read more

First time at this location. Ordering is a VERY slow process. Sandwiches are VERY small with a small amount of meat. Cold BBQ sauce. I am a Diet Coke fanatic and drink it every day. This is the FIRST time in my life I couldn't drink it. It tasted like bleach or something else terrible. $3 for a soft drink. Ice cream machine not working. I want to give it 4 stars cause the BBQ is so good! BUT..... I ate lunch here today and plan on calling the owners because they are really having problems now. It was 2:30, long after the lunch crowd, and the trash was full, the floors and bathrooms dirty, cold french fries I had to take back, and a meat cutter with an attitude! If you are in the mood for some great comfort food. Dickeys is the place to go. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the smell of fresh BBQ. The prices are a little higher, but for good reason. This is the absolute best BBQ I've ever had. It's super filling so I always take some home with me. The meat is fresh and always tender and cooked to perfection. There is so much flavor that I have no words to describe. My favorite thing is the rolls. They are fresh and brushed with butter. The dough is light and melts in your mouth. The staff are always super friendly and helpful and are willing to go the extra mile. Whenever I walk in there is always an upbeat environment. Highly recommend the pulled pork. By far my favorite thing on the menu and you can add your own sauce so you can adjust it to your taste. Always a hit with the kids too! read more

It was the first time trying this place, so I was hoping it would at least be as good as the place I usually get Bbq from on the opposite end of Hwy 21 in Covington. I ordered the pulled pork BBQ sandwich plates with mac & cheese and the loaded baked potato casserole for the two sides. The pulled pork was excellent-very tender and flavorful, and the sauce was in a separate container so I could add as little or as much as I like. The bun was surprisingly good as well, as was the two side items. I will definitely be going back again, and next time I will have to try the BBQ ribs. read more

The endless supply of bbq sauce is amazing. No limits to the delicious sweet sauce this place produces. Meat is always tender and cooked perfect! This time I brought the family there were out of potatoes and Mac & cheese so I got the slice beef plate it was cold ( the last two times were also)TV and the internet said 1 dollar yellow cups, they did not honor it. I have eaten ate the ones in Houston and Telly enjoyed them. Please board of health check this place the guy slicing the meat was sweating over it and the bathrooms sign said employees must wash there hands (NO SOAP) my daughter even notice it was dirty.
