Small Mac and cheese charged $6 as a side

Ordered from here through GrubHub and was not expecting how small the portions were for how expensive it is. Ordered boneless chicken and got sad chicken nuggets with barely any seasoning. My partner got pulled pork which is good but not worth the $48 we paid for two meals, and that was after $15 off with GrubHub. In store receipt said this would have been $58. Never again

Ordered the 2 meat platter from Dickey's for lunch. I noticed you have to pay more for the brisket now but ordered it anyway since it's what I typically enjoy from them. Opened it to find only seemingly one portion of pulled brisket, almost all fat pieces. I ate what I could of it, I still enjoyed the green beans and garlic bread but everything else was mid and inedible in my opinion. I don't want to eat huge chunks of fat for lunch especially when it's $20 plus!

    Presentation

I ordered 3 pulled pork sandwiches and 3 meat plate. The meat was dry. Not juicy at all. They gave us 3 small containers of bbq sauce that was like liquid brown water! No flavor to the watered down sauce. Disappointed

    Failure.

I always assumed that food service was relatively easy. There's a list of things that are ordered, you put them in the sack. It's not rocket science. Maybe I'm the psychopath, but it can't be easy to fuck up an order this bad. I ordered slaw. Got potato salad. I ordered pickles and onions. Got fucking nothing. Look, I get it if you run out of ribs at the end of the day. If you run out of pickles and onions, you just don't give a shit.

Got sliced brisket, this is one Peice and the other few were the whole one side just fat

really disappointed with my dinner last night, spent $40 on one meat plate and a baked potato and they gave me a plate full of fat , barely got any meat off it, the next day I was so sick, in the bathroom all day . don't understand what happened, loved this place so much now I can't go back.

Note: they did offer me S&P, so I could have spruced it up myself & I understand wanting to cater to majority tastes - nonetheless I found it to be a bit bland. Multiple Tv screens. We sat in the lounge as it was on the tail-end of happy hour. Their $10 cocktails were a great way to start our evening. We started with their homemade Parker House rolls, which were insane. These were probably the best rolls I've ever had. The truffle butter was the icing on this bready cake. I'd come back just for these. We also had the truffle fries which were good as well. After some recommendations from our server, we decided on the associates board and the glazed carrot (we definitely felt like we needed a veggie dish). The associates board came with three cuts of steak, which included the filet, a wagyu tri-tip and a wagyu denver. The filet was the standout here, as well as the beef tallow butter it was served with. The other cuts were good, but didn't wow us. We ordered the steak medium rare, but it was more on the rare side. The steak was so tender that it really didn't matter at the end of the day. Overall, we had a great experience here. I think for the price, I was maybe expecting a little more, but I would definitely recommend checking out Rare Society for your next celebratory dinner.

The woodwork and other decor give the feel of an old building, an Irish pub restored. But carpet on the floor in a restaurant/bar? Yuck! Bad choice. The food is average, done okay, but nothing to write home about, typical McMenamins fare that you find at all the McMenamins locations. Average. Tasty but boring. Most of it was fine. The kids' food was better than average for kids' food. But the one item that deeply disappointed me was the Satriale's Italian Beef Dip sandwich I had. It's supposed to be shaved ribeye, Provolone, pickled peppers, grilled onions on a garlic-toasted roll with Black Rabbit Red wine jus. It was a hamburger patty broken up, along with the other stuff. The picked peppers were shortcut with Mama Lil's (one can recognize them), and while good, they just were not what I would expect in an Italian Beef Dip. Should be some roasted pepper and some house-picked peppers. I've had too many great Chicago Italian Beef Dip sandwiches over the years. Those (when done well) are a 10. This was maybe a 2 1/2 or a 3 at best. So, okay (3 stars) is begrudgingly given.

I got an order of their pulled pork breakfast burrito, which I've never tried before. Traditionally, it comes w your choice of pancakes or toast/hashbrowns. They let me upgrade the regular buttermilk pancakes to their lemon blueberry ones. Ultimately, the total came out to around $27.50 after tax/tip (I "only" tipped $2 since I was picking up). Ok so here are my ratings: - service 5/5 - burrito 3.5/5 - pancakes 4/5 - price 3/5 The burrito was solid. I just wish their was more to it. Like maybe some veggies or spice or pico or anything lol. The pancakes were the best part of the meal. You really don't even need to add syrup since it comes w the lemon cream cheese frosting on top and in between each of the 3 pancakes.
