Came here and did Instacart delivery for four fans and decided to try their food while I was here the food was really really dry. They had no sweet tea. No Coca-Cola the sprite was disgusting then. staff was very rude and misunderstanding when I explain why I wanted a refund for my food. I've been seeing adds for this place off and on. I never realized there was one so close to me and I'm so glad it is! From the second we walked in the staff was so friendly and took time to explain the menu. Sadly I wasnt more hungry and I'm on a diet. But they have STACKS and Tacos. I will be back for those. But I kept it simple with a pork salad. So good. Light and refreshing. The pork was so juicy and not dry like most places. They have a sauce bar with delicious sweet sauce and an ice cream area. After waiting for a corrected order, he returned home and realized they had given him someone else's receipt. Then we looked at the food and the 3 sides that were supposed to feed a family of 4-6 were in these small cups that might feed 2. And we have guests on the way! My husband had to make a quick trip to Publix to buy additional sides to feed the 4 of us. We haven't tasted the BBQ yet, but at this point I'm not hopeful. read more

Terrible Experience. The customer in front of me wanted some more BBQ sauce. They gave him a huge run around, told them company policy dictates the amount of sauce (this is a BBQ joint!!!) He tried to buy extra and he couldn't because all he had was a credit card, and they have minimum purchase. He asked for the manager and he was rude and not helpful. 5 minutes after I ordered they informed me they were out of what I ordered (I was the only other customer at this time). This worked out to my advantage because I was able to leave before I paid to support this establishment. The manger and both employees were not wearing masks and when questioned they said they were not required. Georgia COVID-19 Guidance document PER O.C.G.A 3-1-2(2.1) clearly states that food service employees need to wear masks when interacting with customers. The food at this Dickey's tasted okay, but the Giant Baker that I ordered was very poorly made. They were out of pork so I had to get brisket. They were also out of Sour Cream for the Giant Baker potato as well as the chives and butter. The portion of meat on the potato looked nothing like what was in the menus photo and probably was enough for half a sandwich. Very disappointed with this establishment. Went by on Sunday, 8/23/2020, for a late lunch. When we entered the lady made a statement that they were behind and we better not be in a hurry, very nice way to welcome customers. Very slow moving line and many people left. I went in (we ate on the patio) to get my son an ice cream cone. The lady was counting the register and just walked off to get the cone leaving the register drawer right on the counter inches from me. A dishonest person could have easily grabbed some $ as she went in the back while the money was just sitting on the counter. Nobody but me and my son at the counter. I work right next door to this place and I never ate here up until today. I needed a different work snack because I am done with delivery Chinese and Kroger food in this specific area. Dickey's BBQ offered my hospitality, inexpensive lunch options, and solid food. When I walked into the food stop I was welcomed by the staff which was very nice. As usual, I never know what I want because I'm mentally fat and want to eat everything. A member of the staff showed me their 7.50 lunch special which was a bbq pulled pork sandwich with a side and drink! Pretty inexpensive and quickly solved my food plight. They also have free vanilla ice cream to sate my hunger while I wait for more food. Rockin'! I got my mid-ice cream appetizer and took it to go! For my side I had okra and I chose regular BBQ sauce because I refuse to take my chances with change. One small thing that upset me with my sandwich is that I asked for the pickles and onions that came with the sandwich and they weren't found anywhere. Clearly, on the wrapping, it said to add the onion and pickles, but they were sadly MIA :(. Although my sandwich was missing its veggies, it tasted very good! The pulled pork was moist and not dry at all, but I know that I've had better BBQ. The bread complemented the meat well because it wasn't soggy bread like how most BBQ stops want to pass their sandwiches. I hate eating BBQ with no toasted bread, but that is just my preference. Another thing is that my food wasn't a mess to eat at all, so I easily scarf it down before work starts. Okra tasted like regular okra; nothing crazy there. I'm just still dreaming of my missing pickles and onions. Overall, the staff is crazy nice, food tasted good to average and I will go here more for lunch, and the food is priced fairly. read more

Mac and cheese came from a 5-pound plastic bag of chemically treated food coloring and tastes like puke. We have been here 3 times today : the first the last and one too many. We ordered from Dickey's last night for our 4th of July dinner and were so disappointed when our food arrived. The meat was cold, we got 3 buns instead of the 6 rolls we requested, there was no barbecue sauce at all. We tried to call Dickeys and all three times no one picked up the phone. It went straight to a machine and there was no way to leave a message. The food was delivered by DoorDash and we had no way of contacting DoorDash either! I was very disappointed to say the least. This is the second time eating food from Dickeys and we won't eat again. Also our second time using DoorDash and both times our food was not correct, cold or something was missing. Amazing management and staff. I told them about my allergies, and Shannon (the owner) Gave me some samples of the non dairy products, .and they were amazing. The pulled pork was moist and full of flavor. The sliced brisket was lean, but very flavorful (and not dry like other meats). The chicken was moist, tender and cooked to perfection. I don't normally write reviews but made an exception this time. I saw the owner or manager on TV, imploring customers to return, after having to close for a period of time due to water problems. We drove 25 minutes to support the restaurant. Made an on-line order ahead of time, said they could not take orders over the phone, too busy. Some of the items were no longer available so had to change it twice. The order was to be ready in 25 minutes but took 40 minutes. I'd recently had leg surgery, but there were no chairs to sit and wait for orders, barely had standing room. The assistant manager was doing the majority of all the work. The other staff were not supporting her much at all. As the elderly woman behind me said, (waiting for a single sandwich), they really need more help, the other two employees are pretty worthless, the one woman is doing most everything. I agreed. Apparently it was her third time there, said each time it'd been understaffed. Our order did not contain any sauces, the sandwiches had large, inedible chunks of fat, gristle and the fries were not fully cooked. We came in for dinner between 530 and 6 tonight. My company had lunch brought in dickeys earlier in the week and the bbq was excellent. I must say the experience tonight was sub par. The counter staff did not make eye contact and were far from welcoming. When I went to got a soda the options were all empty. I was told they would get to it. It was 15 minutes later and no action. I asked again and the soda machine was restocked, but with an obvious attitude. Wow, we were going to order holiday family size sides. But with this experience I will patronize a restaurant that provides a better experience. read more

Sorry I didn't add a picture, but it smelled so good we dug in without thinking. Oops! We've been meaning to try Dickie's for ages, but we kind of thought it couldn't be THAT good. I mean, it's a chain, and it's in a strip mall. How good could it be? Color me SCHOOLED. We were so wrong about this place! The food is freaking AMAZING, and best of all, they deliver! We've found a new place to eat! We had the ribs, brisket, pulled pork, cheddar and jalapeño sausage, baked beans, potato salad, cabbage slaw, fried okra, and rolls. Every single thing was absolutely delicious! No complaints at all. The meat was perfectly smoking without being overpowering. VERY juicy. Amazing depth of flavor. Sauces were very good. I can't say enough good stuff about this place! Only complaints have to do with the menu, because I wish they had Brunswick Stew and Banana Pudding. Honestly, I'm most bringing that up because I feel like I need to say SOMETHING not-so-great, and that's the only thing I could think of!
