I hate giving 1 star reviews. I really do. I come here to pick up DoorDash orders and they are always extremely slow. No restaurant is slower than they are. I'm also a customer and this used to be one of my favorites when it was still clean and new. But that's not the case anymore. It feels like a layer of grime everywhere. They messed up my order today and it was the last straw! I called and told them that they were missing one of my sides. They said it was a mistake. I had asked them twice and the lady swore it was there. But when I got to my friends house, it wasn't. I asked for my money back and she refused, saying it "was a mistake" and it was "just a side". She was very rude to me and I don't think that's very nice customer service. So here we are. 1 star for food that's gone downhill, grimy restaurant, and terrible customer service. where to start, first of all the mac & cheese was clumpy cold, and the cheese was hard. the ribs were no better. It was cold no bbq sauce could mask the taste of the meat being old, and the greens tasting bland. I got sick a few hrs later, and I spent $127.00 for myself and 3 kids. Way over price. I was a bit confused on why she wanted to eat here again. But I figured not all locations are the same. So as I began to do my research on reviews, unfortunately this particular restaurant had the worst reviews and ratings so I was scared to eat there. But I went ahead and tried it out - being this was my first ever experience. The wait was not too long because it gave me the opportunity to really know what I wanted to order for the first time. I decided on the loaded baked potato. The clerk did follow my order as I ordered it. I would have liked more brisket but for the most part it was tasty. I did get BBQ sauce for free! This is my second review. I decided to remove the original review from back in 2019 as I had a totally different experience this time. Today is June, 15th, and Dickey's respected the optional facemask dealio. That is what drove me in to give them a second chance. When I got in line there were 4 people ahead of me and the staff handled each person very well under pressure, They were polite and courteous all the patrons. I ordered the 2 meat plate with hot links and chicken breast. Both of the meats were perfect and fresh tasting. For my sides I ordered the fried onion tanglers and Brisket Chili. Ok so... after holding back on a review about a year ago, where I ordered from this establishment and the food they sent me was subpar, the brisket was WAYYY TOO FATTY and the beans were tasteless. I decided to give them another try today being as though it is Veterans Day. On the list that is sent to all veterans regarding deals and freebies showed that DICKEYS was giving a free pulled pork sandwich to all veterans. It did not say at participating locations, it did not say buy one get one, it strictly and specifically said to all veterans/active duty/retired etc. when we get to this location, we are told that it's a buy one get one deal and they had a sign posted on the door before you walk in that said the same thing, buy one get one. This was very discouraging even to the 10+ veterans that walked up to the door as we were getting back to our car. Speaking to the staff, we were advised that that deal is only for corporate own restaurants. Not only does this appear to be a violation of truth in advertisement, it's a slap in the face to the many men and women who have given their lives and showed up every day to protect our country. This is one day out of the entire year that I'm sure those same people have showed up to give this restaurant owner their business and believe you me, giving them such patronage is no inexpensive feet. The prices are as high as they come, and sometimes you do not get all the flavor, portions, etc. that these prices should support. Shame on this establishment's owner to be so greedy that for even one day, they can't honor the advertised deal to people who live by the promise to protect and do so much for our country. I had never been here before and I won't be coming back. I ordered an hour ago online only to come in and find out my food wasn't ready at 3:30 as promised. I left the establishment with my messed up order at 4:15pm. First they gave me only the meat and no sides. Then they forgot to give me my 1/4 chicken.
