Really surprised this place doesn't have more business when I come visit. The food is always delicious. They don't have a microwave which I love. I got the baked beans and they weren't hot enough for me and the associate on the line through them on the stove and got them right for me. It's an average BBQ restaurant. It's not horrible but it's not going to blow you away with delight. The jalpeno smoked sausage was verrrry good. Sauces were good Mac and cheese was good The beans were good. The pulled pork was ok, moist, minimal smoke flavor (if at all) Brisket was tasty, minimal smoke flavor a bit fatty but the meat was moist. Coleslaw was just bad Restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly. As an out of towner I wouldn't go back even if I visited again. But if I lived local, and was in the area and wanted a quick, non-fast food lunch, I'd pull in again 2.5 stars overall on Dickeys. Here's a caveat fwiw, I've been to Lex 3x and hit 3 bbq...none have been above a 3 star. read more

There is a ice machine broken in the hall way. The jalipino Sausage is good that's it. You can tell if the dickys corp payed attention they would pull his franchise. My son waved about the place and asked me to go with him. We love loaded baked potatoes and he said theirs was amazing. We went on a Friday evening and service time from ordering to meal prep was very quick. I did not like the fact a bbq restaurant had meat pre sealed in plastic wrap. I thought it was odd, but no judgement. We split grilled wings and a loaded baked potato with brisket. The baked potato was very oily and I'm not sure why. Okay, so this is going to be a weird review, but here it goes. I ended up seeing a promotion for a buy a Big Yellow Cup and get a Pulled Pork Sandwich for free. I ended up ordering it and unlike last time on Super Bowl Sunday; this Dickey's location was open! This is where things became rather Undercover Bossy-ish. I ended up showing up at the counter and THE OWNER asks me how I was able to get the deal. I had shown him through email. Apparently, he DOES NOT WANT ANYONE TO USE THE ONLINE DEALS AT HIS LOCATION. He had spoken to me for like 15 minutes on it. He states that he would rather have people buy at regular price because it is already discounted and he called corporate multiple times to get out of the promotions. Of course, they never listened. People are leaving bad reviews if they are not getting it for low prices which is hurting his business. I am not sure if I was being played or not; however, I think I will do him a favor and not purchase anything at this location again. Food was wonderful. Definitely should include little containers of the sauce with the order. We all like more barbecue sauce! Lol Medium size of a side of green beans really seemed like a regular size so my opinion is that $5.95 for that side was overpriced for what you receive. Reason for only 3 stars is because I was ordering after receiving an email that said FREE delivery. My order was almost $50 so I certainly ordered enough to make it worthwhile for them. Used the app to order, fairly straight forward, but had to click on Menufy (?) to get delivery, then it charged me $4.99 for delivery. I put that in my feedback that delivery was supposed to be free. Received an email from menufy stating that Dickey's currently has NO free delivery offers. Uh, that's wrong, I replied with a photo of the email from Dickey's stating free delivery. Smh. I am not sure if this place is a regular spot or a food truck but it hits the spot ! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered from there today and had it delivered to my work because I knew it was going to be a long day. I ordered a 3 meat plate with potato salad and coleslaw . I chose the pulled pork, smoked kielbasa , and the sliced brisket! All amazing and very good but my favorite has to be the kielbasa , how juicy and the smoke was amazing too. Love this place! I don't care if it's a chain. It's too good to care! We all shared the ribs, turkey, spicy sausage, brisket, and pulled pork. Everything was delicious! My six and three year old wolfed down the ribs. They couldn't get enough. The sides were excellent was well...we had the mac n cheese, fries, green beans, and baked potato casserole. They were all good, but the casserole is something to definitely try ~ original and tasty. As far as the sauces, that is a personal preference. I found the sweet BBQ to be too sweet and the spicy BBQ lacking flavor. I liked the original BBQ. The staff here are great also. Let's be clear, this is a chain restaurant. I just came back from visiting Texas and oklahoma, so I had a taste of some pretty good BBQ. This seems to lack a few components that could make this a great place. As for the good, the restaurant is clean--this surprised me since the location is in Eastland. I ordered the beef brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was tender and flavorful. They offer this by the pound and I would totally pay the $12.50 for a pound of it. And there is a free soft serve machine in the lobby. The not so good...it was awkward to order. If you had not been there before, it was difficult to figure out where to order. The biggest flaw is the sauces. The sweet was the only one that I could stand, but even then it was not that good. There is also the spicy which had a bit of spice, but lacked flavor and then the original which made me want to spit out the mouthful of pork I put it on. Seriously, the sauces suck. I will probably go back and buy the brisket by the pound and use my own BBQ sauce on it. read more

The brisket was ok, but the pork was all dried up. I was excited for a new BBQ place to try, but skeptical because of it being a chain. Sure enough, it did not impress me at all. It's kind of dingy inside and no one greets you when you walk in. It took a long time for them to prepare our plates, and there was only one guy in front of us in line. It just doesn't measure up to what you'd expect a good BBQ place to be. What a neat barbecue joint. Came here on lunch today and was pleasantly surprised with all the options available on the menu. I had my heart set on Mexican today so I went with the brisket and cheese taco and a smoked chicken and cheese taco with a side of Mac n cheese. The tacos were reasonably priced and stayed true to smoked goodness. The Mac and cheese wasn't my jam as much as I wanted it to be though. A good friend really likes this place, so we went there last week for our lunch break. Dickey's is in Eastland, so it's a good spot to stop at if you have other shopping to do there, including more good food options, gaming or for hardware. There's a good amount of parking, so don't let that worry you. When I walked in, the place looked nice inside, with a good amount of room and a relaxed atmosphere. You order at the counter, as usual at a lot of bbq spots. They have large menus up for you to order from, along with their daily specials M-F. My friend put in his order of Tuesday's special while I looked over the menu a while. The counter person asked if I was ready and I stepped up to give her my order. However, I got about halfway through it when she turned and walked away. ??? She got my order for tacos but not the rest. I shouldn't have to shout or chase down someone to give them my full order. Then, when we got our orders, mine wasn't complete. I got the tacos, but not the taco sauce that's supposed to come on the side. The tacos were dry and rather bland. I asked for the sauce and it did help, but the tacos shouldn't have been that dry and bland since we were the only people ordering then, which is when food should come out at its best. I may try Dickey's again. My friend enjoyed his order, and their waffle fries were good. But I'm not in any hurry to go back. read more

I really liked it! BBQ is one of my favorite things so giving five stars would have to mean they are like the drop dead best BBQ joint I have ever been to. I have yet to find my favorite yet, so until then we will go with four stars. I LOVED the sausage, the polish sausage though, OMG, my favorite so far! The brisket was good, but I think I have realized that brisket isn't my favorite thing in the world... I want to love it because I love beef over all meat, but my son LOVED IT! Great selection of meats and sides. Fresh made, reasonable prices and a good original, spicy, and sweet sauce, but the meat doesn't really need it. Atmosphere feels right for a BBQ joint. This was our third time dining at Dickey's and we ordered what has already become our go to choice, the brisket which is tender, flavorful, and delicious! Our side selections included potato salad and baked beans both of which were excellent. I personally prefer the spicy but all three sauces are a nice complement to their smoked meat offerings. We have also sampled and enjoyed the pulled pork. The only negative we encountered during this visit was the fact that the softserve machine was out of order and thus we couldn't have our complimentary cone. Bummer! This location tarnishes the Dickey's name. By no means is it the worst restaurant I've been to, but it's the worst of its chain. The bathrooms and floors were dirty. The chicken was cold, the jalapeño cheddar kielbasa old, and the brisket was all fat. No one wore hair nets and my husband found not one but THREE hairs in his plate. The woman working put on a hairnet and then apologized but still they know better. Ice had particles of mold in it, no doubt that ice machine is filthy. The lemonade as always was good but other than that there's no reason for us to go back. It's a real shame too because we love Dickey's and it's the only one within a couple hundred miles. read more

We ordered food from the Eastland store in Lexington, KY via Door Dash. We were called by the restaurant to inform us that they were out of two of our meat choices even though it was 6:30 on a Saturday night. We made our choices and the food was delivered on time. We did not receive barbecue sauce or bread with our order and called the restaurant to let them know. The manager then says "maybe you should leave your house" and used profanity and threatening behavior. The level of unprofessional conduct was appalling.
