On 3/5/18 My car got a flat tire. The Driver was 37 "Lee." I was in my Honda odyssey with my 2 year old. I was really stressed out as my older son was going to be let out of school and my car had a complete flat and the toddler was in a horrible mood. I was totally satisfied with the AAA emergency road service, response time and the service vehicle driver. I wanted to add he heard me on the phone while changing my tire and told me that the tire just needed a patch and to not listen to the people on the phone saying I needed not one but TWO tires to balance out my van. Since it still had original tires places were trying to sell me the premium name brand tire OR TWO non brand name tires to balance the car out. Lee sensed that I did not know much about cars and was being taken advantage of. He said it was an easy fix and just needed a patch. Lee was not only extremely helpful and quick to fix my issue, he saved me well over $100. I took it to get patched and it was $20. I was also able to pick up my son from school on time as a patch takes way less time than new tires. THANK YOU LEE!!I feel horrible I did not have cash to tip. dicks auto does everything in their power to make their customers happy. nothing is perfect in the big world of towing, but they do a damn good job of taking care of their customers.i feel bad for the poor guy that got his car towed away on the freeway but the police are the ones who orders those vehicles towed away.its illegal to just drive up and decide"im goin to tow this car away".know the laws when you get your licence & hop in that car for the first time.by the way, that forklift they have has the same attachment for moving your car around as the tow truck that probably towed your vehicle its called a wheellift.obviously this is all new to you and you dont quite understand it.i just wonder how your attitude was when you went in there seeing that the cops towed your car and all.it usually goes better when you act civil and like a grown up. read more

Tonight Jesus Estrada was a lifesaver. Vehicle acting up, dash full of Christmas Lights and every warning indicator flashing. Car won't start, but interior lights and headlights on. AC lights on but no AC working. No engine sounds. Needing a tow to the dealership! Jesus came. Very approachable and friendly. As a single female in a empty parking lot that was appreciated. He asked questions, examined my car. Tried a few things and one of those things worked! Got me back on the road in my car. Though the Tow was not needed, he still was able to help and get me home. Car drove no problem to the dealership. Still left it there to be safe and to have my parking brake and electrical checked. I am so very pleased with the help I received from Jason Hernandez from Dick's Automotive Transport. My car was dead and I call AAA they sent out one guy who said the battery had a charge we still tried to jump it but no such luck. I was not even able to roll up my windows. Jason came along to help and after trying several things he decided to check the connections again including the grounding cable. Voila!!! My car started. He made me turn it off and try again to make sure and it did. I am beyond thrilled with the service I received. If it weren't for Jason my car would have been towed and I would be without it for a few days while others tried to figure out what was wrong. Again, THANK YOU JASON!!!! Locked myself out of my car a while ago by locking my keys in my trunk. Well called up AAA and they told me these guys would be helping me out. They arrived right in the advised window and got to work. My car is such a pain that when he did unlock it the alarm went off on repeat and wouldnt pop the trunk where the keys were. Now to make matters worse my seats refused fold down so now my keys were locked in the trunk with no way to get to them. My tow guy went above and beyond and got the seats to fold down and got the keys. Thanks for getting me out of that jam i really didnt want to tow my car all the way to eastbay. Steve Spaulding from Dicks really took care of my problem. I'm a contractor and my diesel ford wouldn't start. he diagnosed the problem on site with a high tech machine, showed me the read out which indicated my batteries were really gone but my alternator and other parts of the starting system were ok. He fitted me with 2 properly sized batteries at a competitive price. i was on my way with problem solved in under an hour. A flat tire left me sitting on the side of HWY 85 last night, cars flying by, it was very unnerving. Richard, from Dick's Automotive, answered the AAA call and was there within minutes. He immediately made me feel safe, he was very relaxed and calm and had me off the road quickly. This was my first experience, hopefully, my last, with a flat tire on a highway and I could not be more grateful that someone as kind as Richard was there to rescue me. I flew back early this morning from Arizona and landed about 7:30 a.m. when I got to my car at my house my battery was completely dead. Not knowing the right questions or who to call I was directed to Dick's Towing and they were amazing. Quick service on the phone, quick out to my car, brought a new battery just in case I needed one, but only gave me a jump, charge me for the jump and gave me a crap load of battery knowledge that I never knew about. I have used Dicks through AAA several times, and each time its always a great experience. My car has been having intermittent gear shift issues, and finally got stuck in park and would not move. Roberto was excellent, he was able to get it unstuck. I ended up having it towed to my mechanic anyways, but it was very kind of Roberto to try and save me the trip and get it unstuck. The wait for Dicks is never too long, and the drivers are always very nice and professional. read more

Had a breakdown on Monterey rd. in San Jose. AAA dispatched these guys to tow my car to Campbell. I have a modified/lowered classic VW Beetle. Joe Koppi arrived and took extra cautious care while loading/unloading my car onto his flatbed tow truck and towed my car to the shop. He arrived quickly. They had my car towed from where I parked illegally and I have no issues with getting my car towed. I shouldn't have parked there in the first place. What I don't agree with is the FACT that in the process of towing my car they caused multiple scratches and dents all over the hood. It is VERY COSTLY to use Dick's towing service.. ($90) I won't be using them again...This was a one-time deal!! Furthermore the person who towed my car was WEIRD and RUDE!! Daric Gunn got here quick considering how much traffic there was. I got a flat tire going Northbound on 101 with my son in the backseat. Daric called me to update me on how far he was. He told me he'd get to me around 25 minutes and got to me a lot sooner than that. He got to work quickly and took care of of my flat. He had a friendly personality and was very professional. My car was impounded by Campbell Police so I went to the PD got my release then went to Dick's yard and they were very nice and helpful. Car had a dead battery so they jumped it for me then had a brake problem so I could not drive it home safely I had to have it towed. Our convertible died during the long winter months. We tried to jump it, but couldn't get the car to even respond. I called AAA roadside service.
