Just moved to Bowling Green. I need a fishing pole. Well..... Dick's doesn't sell any fishing gear. Oh well, headed to a competitor.

We purchased a camper from Camping World in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and the entire experience has…read morebeen one headache after another. From the start, they tried to sell me a trailer hitch at full price even though it was discounted on their own website. When I pointed this out, the salesman disappeared to "talk to his manager" and came back claiming the original $1,000 price included installation and labor -- which apparently meant sliding the hitch into the back of my truck for an extra $500. It felt like a scam from the beginning. After signing the paperwork and driving an hour home, they called the next day saying they had "lost" or thrown away our paperwork and wanted us to drive all the way back to fix their mistake. We refused, so they mailed it instead. We took our "new winterized unit" camping the following weekend, and on day one the flow sensor in the tankless hot water heater cracked and leaked water the entire trip. We called our salesman and the service department twice over the weekend and never received a single call back. A month and a half later, someone from Camping World finally called to ask how we liked our purchase. When I explained everything that happened the hitch issue, the lost paperwork, the lack of communication, and the water heater failure they said they'd call back. When they did, the service manager told us to call them so they could "maybe" warranty the issue. Which I do have a text message from our salesman saying " it will for sure be covered" At this point, I wouldn't recommend Camping World in Bowling Green to anyone. Between the upselling games, the poor communication, and the lack of accountability, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

I'd highly recommend Howard's Bike Shop. I bought another bike and started to traverse the town with it, throughout the entirety of Bowling Green by bike. It's thanks to them I was able to find the appropriate mirror kit for my bike, of which fit perfectly and works as intended. I put those mirrors on my bike because I ride on busy main roads often and want to be able to see whats behind me. Anybody looking for bike parts, repairs, a entire new bike (or E-Bike because they also sell those last time I went there) Howard's is your go-to place to go for that. Did I mention that Howard's Bike shop also offers locksmithing services too? They in fact do! Now I've never had to use their locksmithing services because I don't ever really forget my keys or get locked out of things without winding up with some way to get back in, but I thought their locksmithing services were to also be noted.

Over the course of the past year I called periodically for an update and was continually told they were 'waiting on parts due to covid'. I went down in person today and asked what was the issue. The kid at the counter acted like a year with 0 updates and no progress was some how acceptable. Out of curiosity I called the MFG's to see if they had trouble suppling distributors and they laughed when I asked if they were behind due to covid. Support local isn't worth the time with the clowns working today. The adults must have been at lunch.

Long review, very informative…read more... So, after reading into the reviews on both this location as well as watching some YouTube videos about Camping World in general - I've tried an experiment. With my phone, I've called in asking about buying - and these rabid salespeople absolutely blow your phone and emails and text UP. Like, it's over the top. Relentless and very very promissory. Lying, even. With my husband's phone, I've called into the service department asking about 2 things ... parts that I want to buy from them (with their mark up on them, so it's a sale) as well as small warranty items (I can't imagine the hell if it were something bigger) and here's my discovery ... Service is very difficult to even get ahold of. You get put on hold endlessly, then they'll pick up just to hang up, then you need to speak to someone else, there's zero chance to leave a voicemail usually and when you do it definitely won't be returned. For parts order (money out of your own pocket) they're at least willing to take your money, but they'll throw some condescension and rudeness in for good measure. Just so you know your place. For warranty work, no matter how small and no matter the immediate recentness of your huge purchase ... you are completely, totally and absolutely S.O.L. You have ZERO CHANCE that you will ever in any way get anything done without a very long wait, as much hassle for sheer malice they can throw your way AND you'll pay through your nose for every marked up cent. They are 100% percent lying about warranties being honored at all. Ever. These people are total bloodsuckers. They are out to get you and will lie through their teeth to do it. Go anywhere else. Walk. Do not give them your money, make a fire with it and at least warm your hands.
