My first visit to Dick's. Parking was super simple, ample spots available. I was in search of a set of 5lb and 10lb hand weights. The weights were located on the 2nd floor, I ended up spending about an hour shopping on the 1st floor lol. The quality of inventory was amazing! I did finally make it upstairs and that was another play land. The service personnel was really great- from entry to check out. Please don't shop here if you care about how you spend your money. I had to pick up an order on December 19 here. They made me wait for 40 minutes. I talked to three different workers within that time span and no one took it seriously. The last person I talked to was very combative, how do you have the attitude when your in the wrong? Long story short the order I was waiting for was misplaced and not one person knew where it was. I ended up walking out because some,not all of the workers behaviors were very unprofessional and immature. There's definitely a lack of communication between the workers there. How do you not have three stars on yelp and your at a very good location? Just shows you " what you observe, you participate in. " If you have one bad worker in a large group company they'll end up influencing others. I went into Dick's sporting goods in Cerritos on Friday. I was assisted by Isabel M. She was AMAZING she's so kind and professional with a smile on her face. This is not my first time going there but I have never had anyone in that store help me the way she did. I've had some bad experiences in the past with other staff who weren't nice. But, Isabel was truly helpful, she was very detailed on answering my questions with all the questions I had, I give Isabel 5 stars these stars are for HER not for the store. Whoever is the store Manager she deserves a raise and appreciate good employeesokebher! Nowadays youngsters have jobs but No good customer service skills and are Rude. Can't really recommend this place if you have large or above average kids. My kids play baseball, football and soccer. I've been let down many times here before. My 3 boys are all above average height and weight. It seems like they only have small and medium sizes for all sports. You'll find a large or Xlarge if your lucky. read more

Customer service was good until they suspected me for stealing a box of shoes after giving the box to another employee he was in front of because they didn't have my size and the employee that accused me of stealing the box and didn't want to say it to me but asked my friends who were in the store with me and then he went to ask his other employee to say where I put the box. read more

I feel it is a well stocked store and well organized. Helpful staff as well. I would give them a 4 Star rating but they eliminated firearms department. They had a great firearms counter. They had good prices and great selection of firearms and ammo. Removing that department really was disappointing and makes this store not nearly as good as it was before. My girlfriend Paris and I went to this store on July 7th and she bought some shoes for her nephew back in China. The selection was good and the clerk was very helpful. read more

Located at the Cerritos Mall near Macy's and the movie theater. Big parking lots of course but filled up fast due to the mall and the movie theater especially on the weekends if you are just going here you may end up parking far away like I did on a Friday night. My timing was definitely not good coming here. The store is two levels it's almost a mirrored image like the store at Del Amo Mall in Torrance. Pretty much exactly where merchandise is. Overall this store was nice and clean and I'd come back to this one as long as I time it right when coming. read more

I don't think anybody works here. Biggest store in the mall with no employees. I think they were all trying to avoid customers.

PROS: - huge selection of items for any activity or sport. - huge parking lot, considering it's located at Cerritos Mall. - their prices are decent but not the lowest. CONS: - it's sometimes hard to locate employees there to ask questions or ask for a price check. read more

Wish they had a Dicks sporting goods closer to home buuut when I'm in need of some workout gear or shoes that I know I want more of a selection this is my go to store. Love that it's 2 stories. And lots of variety. Could use a little more but they do carry a lot of clothing and accessories. If you can't find what your looking for there your best bet is it's online only lol! Lots of different accessories for pretty much every sport. They also sell lots of team sports as well. The usual, USC, UCLA, Dodgers..etc. Don't expect a price break than usual, most things are regular price for the most part. Customer service though could definitely use some work..and the fitting rooms are always full. Need more for as big as the store is. But a plus that you can enter through Dicks and then takes you into the mall. read more

My family and I were visiting family in Los Angeles and before heading back home to the Bay Area needed to by some sports gear specifically baseball and lacrosse gear as we would not have time before hand when we got home and the kids needed the gear. Looked up what was close by and Dicks popped up. Truthfully the reviews kinda had me hesitant but I shop at Dicks back home so I kinda know how it goes when you shop at one of the big box stores. In saying that reviews were pretty on point, it did take a while to get help especially in the shoe section it just seemed that not enough employees to handle the crowd especially on a Sunday morning but these are the times we are living in and I'm a chill person to begin with so I don't get to mad or anything and understand all the workers go through. I will say the guy that helped me out was on point and did a good job in helping all customers that needed it and the checkout girl was nice as well. Wow! This store was so huge and it also has a second floor . Bottom floor you see all the clothes, and everything for sports, second floor also has weights equipment, bicycles and other stuffs like Golf Clubs shoes etc... I used to shop at big 5 before but this is much bigger and has more stuffs. Anything that sports requires or needs this store has it all. The workers here were friendly and went extra miles to make sure you got all the answers you needed. Since it was Black Friday sales therefore the store was busy and the lines weren't that bad at all. It moved very fast , it took us around 10 minutes that we were out of the store. read more

I had a good experience at this Dick's in Cerritos. BTW this place is massive! I needed some stuff in the sporting goods section on the second floor. No one was there to help initially, but I saw a place where you could let them know you need help. Once a Dick's employee was available, I asked about their selection and he knew all about the products and the current deals. I bought soccer cleats from this ( adidas predator edge) place and I thought they were good they were about $250 somewhere around there but they only lasted me for 8 months and it's not worth it. First it's so expensive and second they don't even last long. my other cleats which I bought on the adidas app last 3 years they were the nemeziz. these cleats last like 8 months not even half of what my other cleats lasted. both of the cleats have a hole on the same side they are really bad quality cleats and I don't recommend anyone buying cleats for this place. read more

So like I rarely write bad reviews. But this place has to step up their customer service game up. No kidding. I'm still kind of new to the volleyball game. So I wanted to get knee pads. I realized no one offered to help me pick out my size and when I did ask for help, they just showed me where it was at but not assist me on how it's supposed to fit. THEN when I did try them on, the workers were looking at me crazy because I had to take off my shoes to try them on. I usually don't care as much when it comes to situations like this but they really did make me feel stupid for trying them on. Then lastly at the register, the cashiers had an attitude like they didn't want to be there. Only one guy was having a great attitude. Justin was kind and patient enough to handle the transaction for me - he first double-checked to see if the style was available in the store. Laguna Hills store out of stock, checked inventory and sent me to Misssion Viejo. MV didn't have in stock, but sold me a differnt color of the same model, Adidas Predator Edge +, however on returning home found they sold me the Edge.1 instead of the +, which has better materials. Returned to MV store and ordered the correct model and color, only to have Dick's cancel the order 2 days later. Have been a steady customer of Dicks for over 25 years...no more. Bought something from Dick's for a Christmas present. It arrived broken. Went to my local store to exchange, they didn't have it in stock. I asked for a refund, which they were glad to give me for the price of the product, but they would not refund the shipping costs I paid. WTF. So I waited a week for a product which arrived broken, drove miles to a close by Dick's to return the product and got stuck for shipping fees. About two hours of my time and aggavation to be out about $8.00. Screw them, I'll stick with Amazon. read more
