So of course, when my family and I had the chance to explore the city via its waterways, we jumped at the chance. We had our first-ever canoeing experience as a family, and I have to admit that I was a little (OK, a lot) nervous. But Fort Wayne Outfitters was super professional and made sure that we were all safe, and I felt a lot better once we hit the water. They gave us some instructions on how to paddle and how to change direction. Canoeing and kayaking are two of those activities that you just have to jump in and do it yourself, and you eventually get the hang of it. After about 10 minutes of paddling up the river, I felt a lot more confident! I wasn't going to win any awards, but I was able to paddle fast and turn the canoe in whatever direction I wanted it to go. We had two young children with us, and the children sat at the front of the two-person canoe, because they weigh less than the adults. Everyone is given life jackets, and they provide multiple sizes for adults and children. We booked two hours, but my youngest child pooped out after about a half hour. Canoeing is a good workout, and it'll get you tired! But I feel like an older kid could definitely go two hours. The best part about our experience was that we got to see downtown Fort Wayne from a whole different perspective. Fort Wayne Outfitters and the boat launch is located at Promenade Park, so we got to see all of the great features of the park, and then also the nature and beauty of this part of Indiana (as well as beaver dams!).

Upon recieving the pistols from the manufacturer (Sig Sauer) this business was supposed to ship the pistols to Federal Firearms Licensees near the service member's homes to allow for legal transfer to the individual purchasers. My experience which was shared by many of my fellow unit members has been even though I provided Sniper Co with the recieving FFL's info and my credit card number to pay the shipping expenses almost 2 weeks later the pistol has not shipped. Despite a number of calls to the company when I have been told it "would go out that day", the only other communication I have had with them has been in reply to a comment I made on their Facebook site asking me not to comment and to call again. Really frustrated with the lack of accountability and customer service!

Which mind you I then had to look up the item, and then search through the item information for the SKU, then give them sizes, and colors of each item (WHICH I HAD MULTIPLE IN EACH)!!! I had almost $170 worth of items, and thought that was ridiculous. Not happy at all.. Do better

I discovered this hidden gem and was excited to be able to do the pumpkin patches again with my kids. They have a large and small pumpkin patch that both my kids loved doing, fun, commentated wagon ride, smore making down by the river, great deal on pumpkins from the patch, putt putt, food truck, goats, and tons more activities. I also added the round trip kayaking which topped it off. The family was very involved and engaged with the visitors and super sweet. You can tell they truly enjoy sharing their farm with the community and seeing the happiness on faces. Now that I know about this place and all they offer, more trips are in store and can't wait to see what they add next year.

The river lends itself to those who want to take it easy or to those who want to do a quick trip down it. The scenery is beautiful; we have even seen an eagle on two of our trips!!
