Steak biscuits and grits so good

Went yesterday for a chicken biscuit. Yes off top and went back today for steak biscuit and grits!! Just a southern girl looking for the southern cooking lol and to add I'm pregnant with cravings so they may see every morning now and both of the ladies were very nice & I love the fact they have a drive-thru !!!

It's a diner in a gas station. It's zero frills. The menu is handwritten on a white board. The food is delicious. The staff is super friendly. Other customers are welcoming. Prices are cheap. Service is quick. The owner came out from the back to meet me when I said I found them here on Yelp. Such a nice guy- even if the food hadn't been good I would have made plans to return if back in the area. But the food was goooooood. Highly recommended.

Up front I'll tell you I got here late in their day. That was bad on my part considering they had a busy day. My choices were very limited. So my review likely isn't the best it could be. Staff is excellent and very helpful. The air of service is present and I think they generally really like the restaurant business. Atmosphere could use an updating. I suspect they won't rush into it in the next 7-10 years. Biscuit was great. Gravy was fair... I'd like more flavor. It seemed a bit light on the flavor front. Fried steak was dry on one edge due to the steam table. Again my bad for coming in so late. Coleslaw was a bit sweet. The dressing as a tad thin so it was runny. I would have appreciated it sticking to the slaw itself. Potato salad was just like my mom's. I'd suggest adding just a bit of pickle relish to add dimension to it. I'll return to sample more and do so earlier in the day.

I have going here for a couple of years ... the food has always been good and nice and fresh and generous portions ... the staff has always been very friendly and helpful ... nice country place ... but this time was exceptionally awesome because of Jess!! I took my dog,Oreo and when I ordered I told Jess I wanted to order a plain hot dog for him ... she cooked the hot dog and cooked it for him... Oreo and I both enjoyed or food and we thank you, Jess for the extra attention

We almost missed this restaurant and at first drove by. It's in the far corner of a gas station and has a drive thru for convenience. The best deal on the menu is the breakfast bowl. For under $4 you get an ample helping of grits, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon. I ordered a side of hash browns, which they forgot and over cooked before they brought them to me. I was disappointed that they were from a box, over fried, and void of flavor. This little joint has character and a lot of older locals came in while we were there. The servers behind the counter exude a lot of Southern hospitality and that goes a long way!

The service was very family oriented because she helped me decide what I wanted like she knew me for a while haha. Come to find out it is a family establishment. I have nothing but good things to say I will be returning and letting others know about this place as well. Can't wait to see what else is good on the menu.

Listen! I ate and left no crumbs...literally!…read more I was looking for a breakfast spot and this place popped up. It's one of those places that you don't know exist unless you know it's there. It's located on the corner of Webb Ginn Rd and Grayson Hwy and is connected to a Shell gas station. When I walked in, it reminded me of someone's kitchen, which I really loved. Very warm and inviting. There were pictures on the wall of different celebrities. I'm a big OutKast fan so I definitely enjoyed them paying homage to OutKast and of course my Falcons. So the restaurant is New York City food infused with southern comfort which is so intriguing to me. They have a very nice and expansive menu from seafood, burgers, and breakfast items. They even have vegan options as well. The kind lady that took my order did say that everything on the menu is sold all day. I asked her how long had they been open and she said last June made a year. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the Oreo cookie crunch cheesecake but to my horror, the kind lady said something about they did not have dessert. Now I'm not sure if they had ran out or just wasn't serving dessert at that time but it was just after 11am when I got there, so it was lunch time hours. Needless to say, I was disappointed but the food definitely made up for me. The shrimp and grits were AMAZING! The sauce was what really did it. The biscuit had like a honey topping and was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The portion size was perfect! I'm thinking really hard y'all but honestly, I have to say that, that was the BEST shrimp and grits I've ever had. I'm looking forward to going back and getting that Oreo cheesecake and I really want to try the hoagie.

They have servers that get you your drinks and clean off your table. What I loved The biscuits and gravy Mac and cheese Fried chicken Fried catfish Everything was good but I will go back for those items. Just enough foods to choose from. They do lack in desserts though. But I'm ok with that be because of the price. The food area is clean. The bathroom was not as clean. They could work on that part. Overall. My family and I thought the food was great. I will definitely be back.

There is a patio for hot summer days. The salad bar is fresh and the food was delicious especially the sweet potato casserole and fried chicken! The meatloaf however was too dry. However, the delicious muffins make up for it especially the lemon poppy seed ones! Veggie standouts: green beans and corn. Carb standouts: mac and cheese, shrimp fried rice and pinto beans. The sweet tea is good without being too sweet. Its a buffet but we had a server who was on spot the whole meal. They play country music via Sirius xm radio which makes for a relaxing meal. Bottom line: A good place off 316 to get a home cooked meal at a reasonable price.

The host said it was to celebrate the spring season since they did a apres ski theme during the winter. So festive. Okay so boom, we came here on a whim since we were going to a concert in the area later that evening. Surprisingly it wasn't busy for a Saturday which I expected it to be. Unfortunately though they had upcoming reservations so we weren't able to sit in the main room. We sat in their second dining room which was off to the side but still decorated. Our service was still good and the waiter was very attentive. For apps, we got the She Crab soup. I would've preferred for the crab meat to be sprinkled on top vs. in the soup but nonetheless it was still delicious. Super fresh!! Omg. I even contemplated on switching my entree to the stuffed grouper to get some more crab meat. I ended up getting the Shrimp scampi which was a great choice. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint with the shrimp. 6 jumbo pieces. Omg. The entree was done pretty well and it was just the right portion size. If we had more time, I would've ordered their toffee bread pudding or the honey crème brulee but that's all the more reason to come back. Oh and order the It was all a dream cocktail.
