Fish and Chips

Early dinner at Didi's ! So delicious, my husband has the Fish and Chips , so good, French fries were so good , fish was flavorful and cooked to perfection! I had the Crab Stuffed Shells, amazing the pesto cream sauce was perfect with the shells! Enjoyed our Friday evening neighborhood dinner!!

Nice photo op spot!

Cute restaurant! Made reservations for 4 for dinner on a Friday night and met some friends there. Inside seemed kinda loud when we checked in so we sat outside on the huge patio. It ended up being pretty loud as well and huge fans were blowing which helped keep the flies away but was a little annoying. We moved over to an empty table next to us and that helped keep us out of the wind tunnel. We had a great time catching up with our friends. We looked over the menu and placed our orders. There was some live entertainment setting up and once it got going it was very hard to keep conversing. The food was very good and the manager came by our table to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Our friend had seen the chef/owner? on TV do an interview and that's how we found Didi's Downtown. We would definitely come back again!

Good food and great service from Simone x2! Love this spot, we came last week and ran it back for a special we saw online. Unfortunately, they ran out of ribeyes but!!! They were able to accommodate and replaced the steak for NY strip! We've gotten the redfish on both visits and it hit every time. Great experience all around, they'll definitely be seeing me again. :)

Visited this restaurant tonight for a date night and loved that they had live entertainment on their patio. This restaurant is really cute and cozy consisting of an indoor and outdoor sitting areas. I ordered the blackened shrimp tacos and a spicy pineapple ranch water drink. They were both fabulous as far as taste and presentation. Our waiter was nice and service was ok however I did feel at the end my waiter was a bit in a rush to take our food away although I was not done with my food yet. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner/ chef who was really kind and personable.

Philly and hot chicken sandwiches

What amazing food and service! We started with the special fried deviled eggs. Lightly breaded and served warm. The best ever! My husband had the Philly cheese steak and I had the hot honey chicken sandwich. They both were delicious. The chicken was not spicy, lightly breaded, thin and I definitely took half home! The drink & beer list is large and the specials change weekly. Happy hour Wednesday-Sunday, not Saturdays, 3-6. Live music every night 6:30 to close. Chef Scott stopped by our table and visited. Great food, back patio area and cozy room inside. Brunch menu on Saturday & Sunday 11-2. We will be back often!!

So glad we came! It was bustling for a weekday night in suburbia, and we were about to discover why. Hostesses were sweet and we were sat immediately. Our server Simone was extremely professional and thorough. Special thanks to Ava for providing extra service in regards to my spicy cravings. We met chef/ owner Scott, who was all over the restaurant ensuring every patron was enjoying themselves and experiencing high standards. Not only was he interesting and funny, you could feel the passion and hospitality he exuded. The menu had plenty of choices that piqued my interest, particularly the seafood. My husband and I are grateful for one of the best date night/ dining adventures we've had in a while. Service, drinks and food exceeded all expectations and we will be returning!

Hippy Kai Yay Didi Goers! This cute little southern gem is the place to be on a Friday night! As I walked in to this cute little restaurant I was welcomed by Didi herself. She gave us a big hug and asked how our day was harvesting the crops down yonder. As I warmed up my dreary bones by the nice fire Didi brought over some delicious Philly Cheesesteak eggrolls. She was telling us that she just came back from a trip from Philadelphia and had this idea of making a Philly Cheesesteak eggroll! How witty of her. Then she spent her whole day fishing out by the Frisco lake and caught some catfish and redfish! She sure is a hard worker. As I finished the egg rolls there she comes with the main courses! Fresh catch of the day YUM! God bless Didi.

We had a really great experience. We sat out on the patio and there were plenty of fans to keep us cool. The food was good & fresh. It is also very reasonably priced. The atmosphere reminded us a lot of Austin, TX. The service was great & the staff worked as a team making sure everyone was taken care of. We will definitely visit again.

This place has been on our "Must go" list, so after church we decided to go check out brunch & so glad we did! Our sever, Sydney was excellent! The Chef came over to our table, nice touch! The mushrooms in the omelette had a yummy smoky taste! Next time we'll start with the beignets we were just too full this time! Can't wait to try "Social Hour" too! Loved the decor and the patio with music is so cool!

We always drive past this place so we were excited to finally give it a try. We ordered the short rib benedict and Nashville chicken and waffle sandwich. They have great hospitality but the food was over cooked. Short rib was dry, poached egg was basically hard boiled, fried chicken was over fried and very bland for Nashville style fried chicken. The potatoes were good though.

Half of the barbecue chicken and macaroni

We come here for the patio and live music! The service is always great and everyone is extra friendly. We tried the loaded fries, hot honey chicken sandwich, side Caesar and the bbq chicken and macaroni. The loaded fries were extra cheesy and very good. The hot honey chicken was a little disappointing. It is pounded thin and didn't have much flavor. I think adding some extra sauce would help the flavor and not so thin would help prevent the chicken being dry. The salad was good. The bbq chicken and macaroni was also good. We didn't feel rushed like at so many local restaurants. Don't let the construction keep you away. There's parking alongside the building and a lot right across the street.

We had reservations but there was no major crowd at 5:30. The place is contemporary, white tiles, brass finishes. Fully stocked bar. Nice big windows. Started with a Rail District cocktail that was really good. Finished with a Last Word which had a strong licorice flavor (not my fav) but the cherry at the bottom was great! We split the SPREADABLE WHIPPED LEMON BASIL GOAT CHEESE. Loved this. But note to the Chef or food prep - the toast crackers had so many holes in the bread, there was NO surface for the spreadable. Pieces of toast were basically outer crust and the inner area of bread had 90% giant holes. It was comical. Whoever plated this should have been more selective. My wife had the Salmon and I had the steak. The steak had a large pad of delicious blue cheese and butter on top of it, that slowly melted over the steak and potatoes. That was special. Endive salad was pretty dry, very little dressing. So I mixed it in with the potatoes and cheese/butter.

We started with the buffalo deviled eggs, which were honestly a standout--creamy with just the right amount of kick and a fun twist on a classic. I also ordered a salad that had candied pecans, apples, and grapes, topped with chicken that was cooked absolutely perfectly--so tender and flavorful. It's one of those dishes that feels light but still really satisfying. The ambience is what really makes this place special. It's super cute and thoughtfully designed--fun wallpaper, cozy green sofas, and really stylish light fixtures that give it a warm, inviting vibe. You can tell a lot of intention went into the space. We had the chance to meet the owner, Amy, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming--it's always a good sign when the owner is that engaged. Our server was also fantastic--very attentive, kind, and made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. Location-wise, it's just off Main Street, kind of tucked away to the side, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. There's a great view, plus both indoor and outdoor seating, and the water tower right there adds a really charming touch. Since it's newly opened, I'm really hoping they do well--this place deserves it. I also heard they'll be expanding into the suite next door, which is exciting. I took a peek at their dinner and brunch menus, and I'll definitely be back to check those out soon. Such a cute spot with great food, great people, and a great vibe.

They were not only beautifully crafted but absolutely delicious--each sip had us dreaming of swaying palm trees, ocean breezes, and a Hawaiian getaway. We loved both the Mai Tais and the Beachy Bookkeeper! We decided to share a few appetizers. The Meatballs al Forno was my favorite...packed with flavor and perfect for enjoying with friends over drinks. The Heirloom Tomato Burrata was okay however, the tomatoes didn't seem ripe and were hard and chewy. The Lobster in a Jar was tasty - on the pricey side if you ask me though... One of my favorite things about this spot is the ambiance. The lighting is low (and by low I am flat out dark where you almost can't see your hand in front of your face), creating a dark, cozy, and intimate atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and unwind after a long day. Whether you're catching up with friends, enjoying a date night, or simply looking for a place to escape for a few hours, the vibe here is spot on. The service was fantastic as well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, which only added to the experience. Tiki Tuesday has officially become one of my favorite weekly traditions. Great drinks, delicious appetizers, wonderful service, and a cozy atmosphere--what more could you ask for? I'll definitely be back next Tuesday for another little island escape. The staff has been very nice and helpful every time. On this occasion we opted to sit at the bar since we didn't have a reservation (highly encourage you get one ahead of time) and even though the bar staff was super busy they still were able to check on us an appropriate amount imo. Now, the serving of their salads is insane. I'm not complaining at all. This was my first time getting one (the Brussel sprout chop) so I was surprised when they set the plate in front of me lol I couldn't even dream of finishing my plate and took half of it home. It had great flavors and the combo of ingredients was fun. My friend got the Ceasar salad and it was also huge so she had to take a lot of it home as well. She really enjoyed it.
