Went here on a Friday night, and had 8 people in our party, and needed 5 separate checks. We were told they would not do separate checks, unless we wanted three checks divided equally. Huh?? Why would we possibly want that? Honestly the food was decent, and our waitress was good. But making us have to figure out how to split everyone's share of one bill, plus tax, plus tip, was not something a customer should have to do. Waited in line for over 30 minutes while the bartender passed me more than 6-7 times, finally left and got served a cold beer next door which was GREAT! The bartender took my drink before it was empty, so I let her know I wasn't finished with it (not trying to start an argument, just letting her know). She responded angrily and then I was refused my check when trying to leave, told I "could not be served", and given passive aggressive comments from the other bartenders. Last night, February 24, around 11pm, me and my group of my 4 girlfriends were dancing when we got approached by a female employee. She asked if we wanted to go to the vip area because that were a man alone and wanted people with him. We were hesitant at first but we agreed since we were celebrating my sisters birthday and we thought that it would fun. He offered us drinks and we were all dancing having a good time. When we told the man that we were married he became aggressive and extremely disrespectful, shouting and cussing us. We obviously left and went dancing in front of the DJ area which was relatively close to where the man were. That wasn't enough for him. He paid a male security guard to make us leave for accepting his drinks and being married. We tried to pay for bottle service too but were refused. A male security guard, white and blonde, in his late 20s our early 30s kicked us out of the bar yelling at us for no reason because we were being compliant and not disrupting anything or anybody, we were simply dancing among ourselves. Instead of being protected by him we were afraid of him. Me and my friends have never been disrespected like this. We have left reviews and will post what happened on social media. Other women need to know what happens inside this bar. We feel like if a man can pay for your security man to kick us out because we told him we were married, that means your security is complicit with other forms of male abuse. It's unbelievable and unacceptable that in 2023 women are still treated this way for say no. It should have been obvious to us that women are not respected in that establishment when female workers need to show their bodies to attract clientele. We would not make that mistake again and will make sure that that other women don't make it too. read more

If I could give a zero I would. I've never had such a bad experience at a bar, and I never even made it inside. Overall poor management and processes for how to safely have guests enter and exit. I will say I felt bad because the line was insane but there was no order to how you waited in line so that to me is on the bar and management. The "security guard" was so awful and rude to everyone waiting in line and clearly didn't know what he was doing. On a power trip for no reason and was screaming at me and my friends like we were animals. If you even tried to speak at all he would scream in your face. I was called a stupid b*tch and screamed at to shut up just for trying to explain to a manager what happened when they split my whole group up and told half of us we couldn't come in because we "weren't in the line anymore". I understand it can be stressful to deal with large amounts of people but I have worked at similar bars and would never speak to people like that who didn't do anything wrong. Security guard should be fired and seriously take some anger management classes. Management also should handle situations better as well and have a clear process for how the line works to get in and not make it up as they go. Overall will never return which is sad because I love the dierks bar in Nashville and was excited to check out this location. Honestly there are better bars right across the street from this place anyway. Don't recommend screaming at guests and calling them "stupid b*tches" just for not being able to move with mass amounts of people around them. read more

Usually a cool vibe even though their drinks are over priced but I went 2 weeks ago with a friend and was asked to leave because I refused to get off the bar stool I was sitting down on. Mind you it was barely 8:30 and a bunch of white people were still sitting down on the other side so I didn't understand why me and my friend were being asked to get up, the security guy was white and seemed to have some sort of personal problem with us and literally kicked us out for refusing to get up before finishing our drinks that we had already paid for. It was completely unwarranted especially because we weren't being disrespectful in any way. We're not the only ones this has happened to we spoke to more people of color that same night and were told multiple stories of them being racially profiled at dirks. It's the only bar I've experienced such blatant racism at in the downtown area. Love this place, the energy and have so much fun HOWEVER, when you order any well liquor drink, even clarifying you want WELL, they try to play dumb and act as if they "didn't hear you" or claiming that one of their more expensive liquors "is their well". I ordered 3 WELL tequila sodas and came out with a bill of almost $70 because the server took the liberty of charging me for casamigos reposado and claiming that this NICE GEORGE CLOONEY LIQUOR was indeed their "well" tequila. When I double checked with my bartender friend here, she assured me the well tequila was not even close to the one I was given. On my second trip in, we made sure to clarify with the server that indeed we were ordering a WELL vodka Red Bull and she proceeds to bring TWO non-well drinks at $22 each. Be careful out here with servers trying to pull one over you you to make their tip average higher. However, I have not experienced anything like this when going straight up to the bar. The bartenders I've ordered from have been nothing but great and haven't done this :) read more
