I honestly just wish I spoke with him before I canceled my order. If I could give them 0 stars I would. This is a disgustingly unprofessional company. Wasted 4 hours of my life getting my car ready and waiting on the driver just to be told at the last second he won't come to my house. He asked me to meet him at a small store where the roads surrounding are actually more narrow than in my neighborhood. His supervisor even told me that my car would've been the cheapest on their truck and that it isn't even worth their time. I don't know how this company is somehow still in business with employees as rude and disrespectful as the ones they have and they obviously couldn't care less about your time or your "cheap" vehicle. read more

A NIGHTMARE - DO NOT USE. Car arrived 5 days late. In those 5 days no response from office after leaving voicemails and emails. Car was returned DAMAGED with a large scratch across the back bumper and Paul, the owner, refused to file the insurance claim for repairs even though there was clear photographic evidence that the car wasn't damaged when they picked it up. The cherry on top was they tried to shake me down for an extra $150 even though it was not in our written contract. Paul then threatened to contact motor vehicle to "put a lean on my car," whatever that means. Because I refused to pay the delivery driver this extra cash he sat idling in his large car hauler for 3 hours in front of my house as some attempt at intimidation. Ended up calling the cops who told him to move along. So yea, probably want to look somewhere else for your car shipping needs. read more

I'm very disappointed to be providing such a terrible review, especially since most reviews have been positive. After waiting 2+ weeks to schedule my car shipment, it was finally scheduled to be picked up from Pittsburgh four days ago. In advance, I was to receive a phone call. I never got a call and resorted to taking matters into my own hands. I emailed twice, called six times and left multiple voicemails but wasn't able to connect with anyone until the following Monday. The car was then rescheduled to be picked up today (Tuesday) and when I didn't hear from the driver for the finalized appointment, I took it upon myself to reach out, again. The dispatcher assured me the car would get picked up today and finally provided the driver's direct number. I then learned the car wouldn't get picked up on time which led me to cancel the order all together. I understand that delays happen when traveling cross-country. That is to be expected. The lack of response and updates however, is unacceptable. I would've preferred to work directly with the company to find a mutually agreeable time/date but the lack of effort on its part prevents me from wanting to work this company, period. read more

This company is a complete scam. Rude drivers, rude business owners. Look away right now before you take any real loss. I paid for an enclosed trailer to ship my new car, a McLaren from California to New York. The driver scratched the car and dented the front bumper. Damages were spotted on scene but driver shouted F words even though having to acknowledge the damage. The total quote on repairing turns out to be $4,200 for repainting the quarter panel and bumper You know what really opens my eyes? Both damages are marked on the Bill of Lading but the company just decided to ignore my emails and calls regarding the claim. The dispatcher kept "escalating" and referring this to their business owner Paul Volovik who was "on vacation" for the last 6 months and never bothered to reply one single email or call. See the screenshot, they said they are willing to send out the driver to buff the car out. What an insult! Paul Volovik, it's never about the $4k in repair but about taking the responsibility as a business owner and treating your customers right. If I can afford the car I can most definitely afford the repair but you and your company failed the trust and did not worth any customer's time and money. read more

Fantastic experience with this company who transported my car from Kirkland Wa to Nashville Tn. The drivers on both ends were friendly and professional. The car arrived in the expected time frame with no damage. Appreciate the hard work of this company. My pickup truck left the original dealership in perfect condition. It arrived at my house with a broken speed sensor. A week and $437 later, I was able to pick up my truck from the local dealership. After waiting 2 weeks for a response, I emailed Diesel Auto Express back asking for an update. They sent me a response stating that it was impossible that they could have damaged the speed sensor harness and therefore declined to pay. Seriously? I would have given 5 stars if they had just shown a little integrity. Now, I'm filing a claim with the broker, SGT Auto. We'll see how that goes. read more

A broker scheduled my car pick up with another company and the driver cancelled on me 1 hour before pick up. I had to cancel all my relocation plans and flight. Then, the broker found me Diesel Auto Express to pick up my car the following day. When Garret, the driver who came to pick up my car saw how stressed out I was, helped me with reorganizing my items in the car which was very nice of him. The shipment went smoothly. The communication with the dispatcher, Max was in a timely manner and he was responsive. The only thing is I wish the car would be delivered on Friday instead of Monday which is fine. I don't think it's a big deal since the car was delivered without any scratches or damages and Garret's gesture during that stressful situation makes up for the wait. I suggest directly plan with the company rather than through a broker, you will save money and it is more reliable. read more

I wish I could leave them a zero star. Please avoid this company. I shipped my car with this company across the country. Although they demanded high price of the market ($2k), the service was terrible. First, they texted me that they would pick it up in the afternoon, and the pickup truck showed up around 10 AM while I wasn't home. Although I had mentioned in the contract that I won't be at the destination before July 23rd, the driver texted me to deliver my car three days before getting to the destination. Then he asked me to leave the car in a hotel parking lot and give the key to them, which I refused since it was not part of the contract and the owner should be there when they deliver the car. My car has GPS, and it showed me that they took the car to other states after. The most frustrating part was the car app keep alerting me that the rear tire got flat. I contacted the driver, and he said there is no such thing. Then I received an alert that a tire overloaded beyond the manufacture standard. When I asked the driver, he texted me back that he put air on tires without my consent. They delivered the car with a delay, and I paid for a rental car for $400. When they delivered the car, the driver was so rude and unprofessional. He didn't get me the key before I make the rest of the payment. When I paid in full and got into the car, all errors showed up on display, and tires kept losing their pressure. I refused to sign for delivery because of damages, and the driver just ran away without my signature. I've kept calling the company, and they refuse to answer yet. After washing the car, I notice there is damage on the rear fender as well. I attached some photos of the damages and the car in the tire center for repairing tires. It is acceptable that the exterior of the car gets dirty during shipping. The interior was disgusting. The whole carpet was filled with mud and dirt. The driver dented the roof of our car by accidentally lowering a ramp on the trailer onto the roof. While the damage was the fault of their driver, they wanted us to get three estimates and won't pay for a car rental. Our insurance company doesn't require us to get three estimates even when an accident is our fault AND pays for a rental car while the car is in the shop. I gave Diesel Auto Express an opportunity to do it the right way and deal directly with me rather than through my insurance company. Now they'll end up paying more when my insurance company takes over and eventually settles with them for the cost. What could have an an easy resolution, is now going to be a much bigger deal and they've lost a potentially satisfied customer. Arrogant and short sighted on Diesel Auto Express' part. Do not allow Diesel Auto Express to transport your vehicle. I contracted with Amerifreight, who subcontracted to Diesel Auto Express. I turned over a clean vehicle with no scratches or damage of any sort. Upon receiving my vehicle, while it was still sitting on the transporter I saw damage, took pictures, the driver took pictures and noted the damage on the paperwork. Amerifreight denied the claim, the addl coverage I purchased was denied. Diesel Auto Express , who documented the damage while in their possession has now denied the claim. Take your transporter needs to another carrier, Diesel Auto Express has no integrity and does not stand behind their service. read more

Unidentified damage on transport check in to the tailgate of my jeep and they won't pay for repairs. They have a 5000 dollar deductible so their insurance won't kick in. I needed to ship my car from Oregon to Ohio. I worked with a logistics company to find Diesel Auto Express. Everyone I worked with was very professional and helpful. This started with the scheduler whose name I missed, Raymond, who picked up my car, and Jack, who delivered my car after driving it 3000 miles across the country. The delivery was done at a price I could afford and within the timeframe I needed. I was assured that the car would be delivered between 7 to 10 days. I actually didn't believe it because of it being winter and there's all kinds of weird stuff going on in the country right now. I was pleasantly surprised when my car was delivered to me nine days after pick up it was in exactly the same condition that I had given it to them.
