I was wandering around the neighborhood and stopped in here- everyone in the store was very welcoming and kind. I appreciate it!

Came to check the reviews to see if anyone else had a terrible experience and was not disappointed to see a bunch of negative reviews about the staff. My boyfriend and I came in specifically for a hat but also wanted to look around, he found a long sleeve that he wanted to buy for me, but unfortunately, we couldn't find my size. As I got up, I noticed the blonde girl with the ponytail send a message on her phone and looked right at her coworker who looked at her phone right then and read something that made both of them laugh and look at my boyfriend and I. This experience definitely made me look at the company in a different light. If you hire staff that treat paying customers like they shouldn't be there, then shame on you. Customers bring money to your establishment. Don't treat them nasty. Those girls definitely acted childish for their grown age. read more

Cool store with lots of street wear stuff. Who is willing to buy the full price of this type of brand? I guess not a lot of people, but it is good to feel the fabric and this style of clothes, only target limited of client. I didn't know they will have many designs that I like so from now on I will find out more about the brand. It was a week ago today my wife and I came in here for a second shot at this store after walking out the first time due to being basically badgered by the two so called salesmen!!!!!!! Just a side note I've worked in retail for years never in my life have I seen the behavior of these two individuals in particular and if it matters I will in this case exclude the female sales person she seemed to actually be helping someone it was two tall African American guys. So anyway more importantly I've bought diesel my entire life love the brand usually dont need any assistance in finding sizes etc etc so as we begin to take a look around I had seen a pair I wanted online but at my first look around they didn't have them on any of the racks that's fine!!! Another pair had caught my eye which were $100 more as I give one last look for the ones I wanted originally on the Jean wall one of the "salesmen" mutters you won't find anything different there don't need to take them out!!!!!!!!! As rude as you could possibly be AGAIN!! There were no other customers in the store and he's bitching about possibly refolding a pair of jeans!!!!!!!!!! I let that one fly for a second my wife isn't letting it go saying to me that's the same guys from last time ! A few minutes later as I had made up my mind in my head I was guna go with the $350 pair and a jacket I had fitted on total sale 700$ + he asks loudly "are You guys just Guna Hang out or....." so we both took a look at each other and we walked out. I HAVE NEVER PUT UP A REVIEW OF ANY RESTAURANT,BAR LET ALONE CLOTHING STORE. This Diesel location seems to mostly carry their 'black gold' line. Its a little nicer and a lot more expensive than the other stuff in Diesel stores. All in all its a really cool store. Cool location and always really nicely dressed people trying to make you buy their product. I found out today that they get paid on commission so maybe that is why they are so pushy. Every time that I have walked in here they have some sales going on in the back. Some people overlook the stairs that lead downstairs to the bags and shoes. Your salesgirl Madeline is the rudest and most inconsiderate person I've come across in the retail world. Her "assistance" was beyond repair, she spent her time pushing discounted merchandise, TRYING ON CLOTHES FOR HERSELF, and EATING slices of pizza between pulling shoes for my friend. Are crumb filled sneakers a new addition to your spring line? Claiming it was her first day, she disappeared or a minimum of 10 minutes at a click only to return with denim bags she'd attempt to re-hawk on me (for the record, I had on a vintage Gucci purse and was not in the mood for her antics nor distressed denim), a mouth full of pizza crust and more tee-shirts she'd purchase later at cost. There aren't many Diesel items that I really like, but every once in a while I'll find something that I love. For that reason, I always stop into this store and check it out. I usually don't find anything, but the store is always well kept, and it's fun to check out. I did have a really good experience at this location recently, which is the main reason I wanted to review it. I was on a mission to waste a bit of money on something completely useless: a key fob for my work keys. I know, they're completely useless, but my work keys are something I'm using every day, and if I want something nice attached to them, I'm going to make it happen! So I went to the Diesel store in Roosevelt Field Mall (because I happened to be in the area) found a really nice leather key fob. Only problem was, they put the security sensor right through the leather! I'm not usually one to complain about stuff like that (working in the fashion industry myself), but if I'm going to spend $20 on something pointless and useless, I don't want it to have a weird hole in it. So I went to the Diesel store in Soho to see if they have a non-security hole key fob. There weren't any out, so I asked an associate. They had no idea what I was talking about, but were super helpful. They went into their stock room to check for me, and lo and behold, they have one! And since they were never put on the floor, there were no security sensor holes! Everyone was nice, and helpful, and it was a great experience. Eh, so I waste a little money on something pointless sue me. read more

The two stars here are for the lovely Sales woman who helped my husband with his jeans. She was kind, knowledgable and quick. I would never come back here after the way I was treated myself. I unfolded a pair of jeans to view them in a smaller size than what was on the standard display rack of all the styles, and was quickly told to refer to that rack if I want to see the jeans. It was so rude to tell a paying customer they can't touch merchandise that is clearly for sale and to not even offer to help me see the jeans in my size. I was a retail manager for years and I would never treat a customer this way. I'm disgusted with this place. read more

I'm not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I had a great experience here. It can be hard for me to find jeans, I'm a bodybuilder so I hate shopping for pants. The sales associate was knowledgeable and actually listened to the styles I say I wear. He brought out what I asked, showed me some other styles that were in the same realm and wasn't pushy at all. The tall, beautiful black woman with the buzz cut, I wish I knew her name who checked my friend and I out and closed the sale was great. It was like shopping with someone I had known for years. This place is very expensive, but the quality of the jeans are nice. When I first got here, the people at the front were warm, welcoming. The sales associates seemed to know quite a lot. The only reason I would give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because I recently bought some jeans here and I guess they were made of a "stretchy" material. Like a hybrid between denim and some type of stretchy material. At first, I thought I was losing weight but the jeans will stretch and that just sucked. They were so expensive that I ended up getting another pair of a different type. So if you're looking for jeans, keep this in mind. read more

After being an former employee for a couple of years I was always a fan of the diesel. Brand.. still kinda am. Management is money hungry so they will send any employee to a customer blatantly for sale no matter how desperate they may look. I think from my experience the only thing worth buying are the jeans.... Some.. Everything else in this billion-dollar company is pure trash and will fall apart within 6 months. All the shirts are pretty much made in China and other third world countries.. $6 shirts for the price of $150 mark up is ridiculous don't be fooled or waste your money these clothes are not made to last. The material is a joke and CHEAP. They're mentally trying to compete with other luxurious brands that's why the price is high. Shop at your own risk read more
