On July 1, I purchased a beautiful jumpsuit for $200. Unfortunately, the bottoms didn't fit. As a busy single mom, the outfit stayed in my car longer than I intended. When I returned on July 28, I noticed for the first time the sign stating there are no returns or exchanges after 10 days. Like many shoppers, I assumed there was at least a 30-day return policy, as that's common at most retail stores. To make matters more frustrating, I was never handed a printed receipt when I made my purchase. My receipt was sent digitally, so there was nothing for me to reference that clearly reminded me of the 10-day return policy. Had I been made aware of such a short return window, I would have returned much sooner. I explained the situation to the employees on duty. One of them told me the policy was "mostly for bathing suits for sanitary purposes." I pointed out that my purchase wasn't a bathing suit--it was a jumpsuit with the tags still attached, completely unworn. She simply replied, "Yeah, it's over," followed by a dismissive "Sorry" in a very condescending tone. I asked, "Are you sure? I don't think that you are." Instead of trying to help or offering any possible solution, I walked away, and the two employees laughed at me. I turned around and told them that laughing at a customer was horrible customer service. There was nothing funny about the situation. What disappointed me most wasn't even the return policy--it was the complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and respect. At no point did anyone attempt to de-escalate the situation, offer store credit, or even show understanding. It felt like, "Okay, bye. Get out." I now have a nearly $200 outfit with the tags still on that I can't wear because it doesn't fit. While I understand businesses have policies, customer service is about how you treat people, especially when they're disappointed. A little kindness goes a long way. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated, I will never shop at Diane's Bikinis again. I also won't be recommending this store to my daughters or their friends. Respect costs nothing, and this experience left me feeling completely disrespected and unwelcome. I hope management takes this review seriously. This experience wasn't about being told "no"--it was about the way I was treated. Customers deserve to be spoken to with respect, not condescension, and they certainly shouldn't be laughed at for asking reasonable questions.

I don't like to make a fashion show out of it, and I know my size, so it's just a matter of asking for the same pants in different colors and walking out. They're always great and last for years. I was rotating the same 5 pairs for 2 years and then realized I could do less laundry if I buy more pairs. Now I've added a few more pairs and probably can rotate for even more than 2 years. This place has the best prices, even beating online sellers. Other stores try to sell a set, I do not need the top as I wear a lab coat. They also try to sell "fashion" scrubs, which I don't care much for, but this place has those as well. I'll continue to come here as long as they are in business, and I recommend my fellow healthcare workers do so as well.

We received the remainder of our items and I was really happy with the quality and fit of all the clothing, as well as the stationary. The next month I hadn't received the blazer I'd wanted so e-mailed Cheryl again. She said that they hadn't had it re-stocked and she thought that the vendor probably wasn't going to continue producing the item. I told her that it was fine and decided to get a cute zip up hoody instead. It turns out we're the same size so she even went and tried on the item for me so I could decide what size to order, haha. She mailed me the item (again, free shipping!). Unfortunately, I guess our doorman wasn't on duty when the item arrived and the package got returned to them in CA. (I live in NYC, for reference). Cheryl not only re-mailed me the package, but she included an adorable free t-shirt as an apology WITH a handwritten note (in the neatest handwriting I've ever seen). Wow! After receiving the last item they charged my credit card for the total purchase, but it was denied because I'd canceled that card the prior month. They again e-mailed me and apologized for needing to get my new cc info and ended up giving me the sweatshirt for FREE even after I told them that it wasn't necessary. Nicest people ever.
