Terrible. Will not…read moredo any returns. Wouldn't be surprised if the employees are secretly lab techs. "You see this Microscopic scratch here in the very corner of the lens. You would need a microscope to see this under the right light. Sorry we can't do this return. It's about the size of a germ." Ridiculous.

Even though working retail isn't an easy gig, the employees of low-volume stores really do have it…read moremuch easier than others. I can confidently say that 90% of the time that I pass a Sunglass Hut during the week, it's completely empty. You can usually spot the employee stationed behind the desk either using the computer or their cellphone. I don't really mind because this just means I get superb service when I walk into one (most likely because they're excited to have human interaction for the first time in hours). That all gets thrown out the door during the holiday season. The pair of guys working the shift that I stopped by for were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They never have to deal with having more than 2 customers in the store, so they understandably panic when they see 10 people during the holiday rush: who's needs to checkout? who needs a glass case unlocked? who needs help with a question? who was here first? I don't mind having to wait to buy overpriced sunglasses, I mind not being acknowledged. When a customer stands in the middle of the store and spends several minutes holding a pair of shades in their hand while staring straight at you, just look over and nod. That's it: a nod. I know you're busy and have several things to do, but just let me know that you see me. When I was finally talked to, the guys were great with the checkout -- but by that time, I was too pissed about standing around for ten minutes to care how friendly they were.
