Found DIFY Battery on a search for a battery for out Tacoma. Normally I would have done this myself however due to a recent leg surgery didn't want to deal with and found DIFY and a service to exchange & install at our home for $250 (plus taxes). Scheduled for the following day. Got the please to met up with James the service technician (SUPER nice guy). He explained everything to me, handed the keys over and he went right to work while we chitchat'd. He finished in a couple minutes, took the old core, paid and done. I have already shared my experience with 5 others. I will so use DIFY again and recommend over & over! Although the service may seem paying for a little more, it's well worth the time, the back & forth to a store, core exchange etc. the extra bonus in this is I do believe this is that old school type service and with a huge smile. Unfortunately, I did not see the poor reviews until after I booked the service. The service was not completed because I was late to the appointment (totally on me, I should have been free for the entire two hour window rather than relying on the "heads up" notification sent when the technician is en route). When I called dispatch to reschedule, I was met with extremely poor customer service, including being scoffed at. I was told that "there are no more openings for me" at any time in the future, as I had cost their business time and money by missing the original appointment. I apologized for missing the original appointment and promised to be available for the next one, at which point I was again refused service, citing that "I could pretend to act confused but I knew exactly what I was doing." (???) Very bizarre and uncomfortable interaction with Lisa, their dispatch representative. I rarely ever ask to "speak to the manager" but at this point I did and was declined permission. I typically would like to give those with whom I have a negative interaction the benefit of the doubt, and so perhaps the couple of folks from DIFY that I interacted with that day were having a bad day. Still, from a service delivery and customer support perspective, if you're looking for a pleasant and uncomplicated experience, I might consider seeking service from a different provider. read more

Quick, affordable service (with great advice on top of it), from a local small business with conscientious technicians. Here is some backstory: My wife's Honda Accord would not start this morning (about 8:50am), and it was giving some error message with the "accessories" icon lit and the car wouldn't turn off completely. I checked the Honda forums and various support sites, and disconnect the battery terminals and thought I'd try a new battery. I'm sure glad I did. I googled I'm not sure what, and DIFY Battery (these guys) came up. At 9:33 AM I called them and scheduled a tech to come out and test and/or replace the battery. At 10:32 AM, James was parked outside my house and ready to get to work. While changing my battery, James even gave me a recommendation for a third-party product that would help to recharge my battery if we rarely drive the car. I have a Genesis G90 and there were no warning signs that my battery was getting low. When I went out to start it, it was very low and would not start. I checked around for different places that come to you when you need a car battery and read the reviews of different companies and settled on DIFY Battery. The use only Interstate batteries of the highest quality. James came out and found that my battery was completely discharged and was completely dead. He did a complete diagnostic and everything is running fine, so replaced the battery in no time and put everything back together. I can't recommend DIFY Battery highly enough. The miracle of algorithms and waking up (after searching pricing for a battery) to find Dify Battery in my day two of Google searching (when they actually didn't show up the first day). I had never heard of them but I had heard of interstate battery so that was a plus and confidence boost. I called, left a message, and within a short hour or so had a call. We set it up, the price quoted was the price. The time window was spot on. James was professional. He helped explain what was possibly going on with the service engine light (as a result of the dead battery on an import car).
