They quickly responded to my inquiry and got me scheduled to come in. The team did their own diagnosis of the car and instead of just agreeing with Mazda, they said they didn't even believe the $2k repair was even necessary at that time. They found a couple additional small items that they recommended I fix, but were never pushy or trying to sell me on anything. From the time I reached out and throughout the process the team communicated well. They handled all the other recommended repairs same day for significantly less than the dealership wanted to charge. These guys are honest and well priced and I highly recommend them for any car work you need done.

They did these two things, but kept threatening that the engine could overheat again. I declined further testing. I was charged $303. Just for radiator hose and radiator fluid. Just 10 miles down the road it did indeed overheat again. The next mechanic put radiator fluid in the actual radiator and everything was fine. Apparently elite auto solution did not put the radiator fluid into the actual radiator but into the Reservoir instead. And overcharged me as well. I would not recommend this company.

Approximately 20 minutes after leaving the appointment, one of my tires popped. After having the vehicle inspected elsewhere, I learned that two of my tires were bald and deteriorating from the inside. This was especially concerning because I had just been assured that the vehicle had been checked and everything looked fine. A proper inspection should have identified tires in that condition, particularly when they were deteriorated enough for one to fail shortly after leaving. I also discovered that the filter that should have been addressed during the service was not changed, which raised even more questions about how thoroughly my vehicle was actually inspected. I understand that routine maintenance cannot prevent every unexpected issue, but telling a customer that their vehicle has been checked and everything is fine creates an expectation that obvious safety concerns have actually been reviewed. Driving away with two severely worn tires, only to have one pop 20 minutes later, could have resulted in a much more serious situation. This experience has left me with very little confidence in the quality and thoroughness of the service I received. I would strongly recommend that customers independently verify their vehicle's condition rather than relying solely on the inspection performed here.

At the end of August, my vehicle broke down -- the serpentine belt snapped, punctured the front axle, and broke the coolant hose. I paid him $900 to replace the alternator and belt. He then quoted me another $500 to repair the axle and coolant hose (about $200 in parts, with $300 in labor). However, he only replaced the alternator and belt before disappearing, saying he would not be able to return until he sorted out his new work schedule. After a brief apology by text, he stopped responding entirely. I had no choice but to take my vehicle to another mechanic, where I paid an additional $900. The second mechanic confirmed that the oil change and engine flush I had paid for in July were never done, which is why the car broke down originally. The serpentine belt installed was too tight as well. The new shop also properly repaired the axle and coolant hose. Overall, I was left out of pocket significantly more than necessary, with incomplete work, misrepresented services, and a lack of reliability.
