I wanted to share what an amazing experience I had today. My mom's car broke down by the car wash near the store due to faulty battery so since we couldn't afford to tow it to the nearest car maintenance shop, I stopped by to get a new battery. Not only did they find the right one for me, they even offered to drive me back to where my mom's car was at since the battery was so heavy. I initially called Kwik Kar located on Campbell Rd and ask if it'd be possible for them to come out here but they said they didn't have anyone who can do that. I'm glad we didn't go. My head light was out for a while and I took a chance (unintentionally) to buy another on one of the coldest days. It was late, but Lorenzo still went outside and changed it. Car battery died and I asked a guy to switch it out with the 1 year warranty battery but they said no because I didn't buy the 2-3 year warranty battery. Horrible customer service and employees with no morals. read more

I came in, looking for a replacement bulb for a car. I was greeted by the cashier and welcomed in. He was knowledgeable about what I needed and ever double-checked the car to make sure I had the right make and model. I was able to go into the store, get help, get what I needed, and be on my way. Typical auto parts place - nothing great or bad about it. It's a regular shop. These days prices are often higher inside a store than online. A staff member gave me a price $17 over what I saw online for wiper blades for my tiny Fit. I didn't get upset because I'm sure it's just store policy. I did however, go less than 1/2 mile to the Auto Zone and got my blades for the same price inside the store that O'Reilly gave me online :-) All victories, even the tiny ones, put a smile on my face :-) So, I guess I don't recommend buying your wiper blades inside this store. Bought my battery for my 18 Tahoe at O'Reilly's Dallas Tx. on Forest Lane, 3046 Forest Lane. Battery is not quite a year old and I needed it to be tested. Rainy day but stopped in between the rain, four guys behind the counter, three guys not busy. Could not get my battery tested. Explained I bought the battery at that O'Reillys and told them I would take my business elsewhere, Which I will, My Family will and all my Friends will. I had to come here yesterday because my car battery was acting up. Luckily I was with my boyfriend so I was able to wait in the car with it running while he went in to get help. A dude came out and tested the battery and said it needed to be replaced. He took the battery and brought a new one out and installed it. $150 and about 15 minutes later we were on our way. Car problems are the worst so it's nice when auto shops can make them easy for you. read more

Great place! So helpful and quick! The minute I walked in I noticed all 5 of the people working were helping customers. I wandered down one of the isles and started looking for the windshield wipers I needed. Within 3 seconds there was someone standing by my side asking if I needed help. He looked up my vehicle type and went to find me the wipers I needed. I had my wipers in hand, paid out and was walking out the door in less than 5 minutes. As I walked out at least two of the people working there acknowledged me by saying "thank you for your business" or "thanks for coming in." There was even an employee who came from behind the counter and opened the door for me as I was walking out. I will definitely be back here for all of my automotive parts needs. read more

Wnt into the montgomery Texas o"reillys to get a remote cr1616 battery the guy used to big of a screwdrive and stripped the screw so I cant even get into the romote to install a new battery He said the screw is stripped I said im sure it it your using to big of a screwdriver and he said thats the only one we have which I know is a Lie I said well tell the cutomer that and give me the choice if you should use it or not He just stared at me so now I have to find someone to get the screw out and buy a new one ...throws my hands up I just dont get why customer service and common sense are gone these days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Wonderful service. I had the dreaded experience of waking up to find the battery on my car died. Really, truly died. I mean, wiped the clock and everything dead. We went here and he found my battery (special car model) and we were out the door in just a couple minutes (after setting up my warranty!). Once we got back to my dead car, we couldn't get the bolts off! So we called the store, and sure enough they had tools we could borrow (just leave them a photo ID) for as long as we needed them. Once we arrived, he pushed even more tools on us to ensure we had everything we could possibly need. He even pulled some items from the aisles of the store to help us out - no charge. When we described our predicament, he even offered to come to our house if we continued to have trouble and help us get the old battery out! SUPER nice guy! Everyone was cheerful and helpful, so this will definitely be my go-to place for auto parts. Especially knowing they keep parts for my crazy rare model in stock! read more

When it comes to auto part stores, I like O'reillys. Their service has always been great. The prices are competitive but the one thing I'm impressed with the most is their knowledge overall. I like to know what the difference is between a part made by different brands and honest suggestions from them on what is better rather than just always going for the biggest price tag. read more

Excellent customer service! Yesterday I got my car battery replaced. The attendant(s) at O'Reilly's checked my old battery and alternator, ordered the new battery, AND most importantly, THEY installed it for me. The Story: My worst nightmare came true two nights ago - my car died at [one of the busiest, most compact areas in Dallas] Mockingbird Station around 7:30 PM. I wanted to call my brother to come help me jump start my car but realized it was going to be impossible for him to get a parking spot next to me. We had to wait until around 9 PM to get my car out of there. The next morning we had to jump start my car again; this happened around 7:05 AM. At this point I had to get to an auto shop right away and was hoping that something would be open that early. I called O'Reilly's (not an auto shop) and the person on the phone sounded very friendly so I decided to go there. Best decision ever! Once I arrived, he took a look at my car, then OFFERED to install the battery himself. I was going to ask him to install it anyway, but the fact that he said it first made a huge difference! My car was fixed yesterday and I'm a happy driver again. read more
