Good lunch staple- Lots of options for different kinds of diets (vegetarian, keto, gf, etc.,) More affordable when you download the app and order pick up. Chicken breast, mac and cheese and farro is my go to

Always my go to on busy week days! You get fast and healthy food. Love the ambiance! Came here with my friend for dinner and we had a great chat over some delicious fresh food

Out of all 4 locations I've been to this is def the worst. Came in on a Saturday at around 4pm, food looked off. Sheet tray carrots sitting in a pool of oil, salads looked neglected, whole bay leaves in the food. The guy behind the counter, was mumbling and got mad when I couldn't hear him. Saw him roll his eyes a few times, guessing he was having a bad day. The whole operation just looked like management was off duty. Very unfortunate but will probably travel to the 66th street location.

Isn't this beautiful? Healthy, delicious food you could happily eat every day, provided your pockets are deep enough. I like that they offer fish as a protein option for the pescas of the world, and folks tired of eating chicken and steak all the time. I always get the farro, and when I want to indulge I get the Mac and cheese--theirs is sooo good. The paper takeaway bags the food comes in are so pretty, I'd grab 2 more of them for myself before I leave the place

Name a place in Manhattan that tastes as good as this place, is healthy, and all at a low cost... I would say I'll wait, but I would be waiting for an eternity. I have yet to have a bad piece of food from this place. The meat, the veggies, the base of your choice, it's all delicious. They are always fast and friendly providing great service. This is a go to spot for me.

Terrible experience ordering from this restaurant. We had placed a large order for an important company luncheon and the restaurant cancelled our order twice, due to technical difficulties on their end. We were then told to contact their catering distributor to have our order resent, which we did, and they still didn't send the food. They were extremely unprofessional over the phone and did not take accountability for ruining our very important business meeting. We will not order from them again.

Salmon bowl combo (definitely serves 4 reasonable appetites). Too bad.

Let me set the stage: COVID-19 running amok, 4 of us wanted some clean eating, and there was that salmon meal that seemed to hit all of those components. Obviously, the order was to go and ordered beforehand. The transaction was seamless. The portion size was ample for the mac n cheese, salmon as the protein, roasted broccoli, kale salad and all of the requested sauces and lime wedges. Whilst eating, it occured to me that the food was only slightly above room temperature but I attributed it to the travel time from restaurant to destination chowdown. Unfortnately, I was the unlucky one that day. About an hour or two after eating this meal, it was rejected via retching and you know the rest. Luckily my dining companions were spared. Not sure if I just had a weak disposition or if they have the true stomachs of steel. I really wish that I had had a better experience but I did not. Sad face. I definitely will not order again until maybe after the pandemic ends and I can grab my own items in person.

The three or four bites of Kale Caesar that were delivered this week.
    Aaron S.

Buyer beware: While the quality of the food is high, the QUANTITY is borderline criminal! A full meal (the kale Caeser salad) was hardly even an APPETIZER!! Three or four bites of food! Pic attached. I have enjoyed this place many times in the past, but this is absolutely unacceptable and has now happened to me several times. There's really no more to say here.

At this location, my food was ready for me to pick up. The staff looked friendly and assisted me with my order. The food was good, filling and tasty.

Tofu with broccoli and tomatoes, over farro!

This spot was suggested for lunch by some co-workers/athletes we were partnering with on a project. The menu looked great but really doesn't begin to do the concept justice. The vegetables looked fresh - creatively cooked, bright, colorful, and enticing. I built a vegan bowl when I went in with the idea of getting Mac n cheese. The employees were wonderful, too. They gave GREAT recommendations and helped me choose between proteins and dressings. The elderflower lemon spritzer in a can sealed the deal! I already told my husband that "if we happen to end up in the area again" I'm going to take him here. Note: we live in NJ lmao but I'm willing to make the drive. Awesome spot!

    Marinated Cannellini Beans Side

I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and the marinated cannellini beans, I have had this before and enjoyed it. But after a recent delivery, I have decided that the downward spiral in quality that I had experienced needed to stop. I will no longer order from this restaurant. The meat was old (brown spots throughout the lukewarm meat), and the beans were sitting in this soupy, milky-white overly minty sauce. It was inedible. A huge disappointment but it will be my last disappointment from Dig because that was my last visit. Cannot recommend.

Nice place to eat for a work/school lunch or when you want something healthy and on the go. I love the selection of vegetables, especially the roasted sweet potato. Ask for a side of the green sauce - Tastes surprisingly good on anything in your bowl.

Extra portion of steak 6.25$?? Barely 5 pieces. Really? Never again getting food from Here

Really? 6.25$ for extra steak and this is what you get, not generous at all. This cannot be that expensive! Very dissatisfied

My experience at Jacob's Pickles was incredible and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone for any occasion. This special southern gem has it all figured out. They beat the myth of having "too big of a space" or "too large of a menu". Their speed and service is extremely fast. Waitstaff are very friendly and collaborate very well together. GREEN FLAG that they are always busy with very rare downtimes. I recommend to secure a reservation if possible. The menu has a wide variety of options. As a repeat customer, I can conclude the consistency of quality is 100%. The dim lighting and overall atmosphere made it feel like a true hidden gem in NYC. The service was top-tier. Our server constantly checked in on us, gave us honest recommendations and feedback on the menu, and maintained such a positive attitude throughout the entire night. Even the manager was incredibly friendly and stopped by our table a few times to make sure everything was going well. It honestly felt like we were dining with a group of friends! And the food was delicious. If you love pickles, this is definitely the spot for you! There were pickle options everywhere, from fried pickles to diced pickles incorporated into the dishes. Everything was flavorful, extremely filling, and satisfying. One small tip: if you order something that comes with a biscuit, be mindful of the biscuit sitting underneath the chicken, as it can get a little soggy. Other than that, everything was great! Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back. A great atmosphere, amazing service, and delicious food -- definitely worth checking out!

When I first walked in, I didn't even see the bar, so I asked Sophia about it. She asked for my phone number, which they use to look you up on Resy. A few seconds later, she said, "Reggie." I was like, "How do you know my name?" That's when she explained it. I thought that was pretty cool. At first, you might think it's mainly a dining spot, but once you get to the back, there's a beautiful two-level area that feels rich, classy, and upscale while still being laid-back. It's definitely giving "meet me after work" date vibes. I asked if they had a happy hour menu, and thankfully they did because I'm on a budget lol. I started with the gin flight, which was recommended by the bartender, I believe his name was Spencer. He also recommended the crispy pickled artichoke, which was definitely different. It was probably the most interesting dish I've had in a while. It was a little leafy, and honestly, biting into it felt like eating a moist filled flower that was slightly dried out. Very different, but in a good way! Now, the gin martini flights... I knew from the first sip I was going to be nice! Hands down, one of the best drinks I've had in NYC for $12 during happy hour. You really don't need another drink after that one. You could have another, but trust me you're already there. Definitely worth it! The tuna tartare wasn't my favorite. I've definitely had better. They give you a generous portion, but the tuna was cut a little too chunky for my taste and was slightly bland. I actually wish they had mixed that side sauce directly into the tartare because it would have made it more flavorful, moist, and easier to put on the bread. So, I probably wouldn't order the tuna tartare again, but I would absolutely go back for that bread! They even brought out a postcard with the bread on it along with the receipt, and of course, I had to keep it. Overall, the ambience was fabulous, the drinks were a 10/10, and the food definitely has me wanting to coming back.

French dip was huge and flavorful. Chocolate cake to finish is immense but there are better versions all over NYC. Now, let me reiterate my strong opinions on servers wrapping up the leftovers. The portions here are very large so they are obviously well acquainted with the practice of the "doggy bag". Why in the world do they just dump a few boxes on the table and leave without a word? If I wanted a DIY experience, I would have ordered takeout. Someone needs to fix this practice immediately. The pandemic is over folks. Do your job! Would return if I was back in the neighborhood.

Time for a stomach reset!…read more This restaurant is not for those who are sensitive to flavor and spice. If salt and pepper are the only two spices you can handle, this is not the restaurant, rather not the cuisine, for you. Thai food is based on a multitude of factors. Colors, variety, and spice. What I got here reflects all of that, even if my pictures show a large shade of brown. My first item is the Kao Soi Ped, a coconut curry noodle soup with duck and shallots. I was incredibly afraid to eat the whole thing because coconut curry is a natural laxative. However, the dry noodles and crispy (and rather tasty) duck probably saved me from potential embarrassment. The dish evolved from a chow mein into almost like a duck ramen, which actually made it fun to eat despite the insane flavor bomb it packed. My go-to at any Thai restaurant is a Drunken Noodle, better known as a Pad Kee Mao. It carries quite a punch to the mouth in flavor. There is also plenty of variance on the plate with ample noodles and chicken. The amount of vegetables to protein to noodle is appropriately proportionate to each other. Not one piece of this dish is out of place. The spice also countered the richness of the curry and to my surprise, I finished the whole thing. I never go to a Thai restaurant without ordering a Thai Iced Tea, and this one does it as well as one can make it. My advice is to order it and save it for later, when the heat and flavors need some temperance from taking over your stomach, throat, and later, perhaps your bowels. For Upper West Side standards, this is par for the course in terms of price and value. It is also close by the 1 train when it comes to convenience, but keep in mind the kitchen closes for a bit as the restaurant shifts from lunch mode to dinner mode. Good thing the restaurant is not far from a few distractions to keep you entertained if you want to dine here but do not live in the neighborhood. Or you could just plan your trip accordingly like any normal person and stop in after 4:30 pm if you want to come here for dinner. Enjoy the experience.
