My wife and I hired Digital Installers to design and install a home theater system. Rusty, Shaun, and the rest of the DI Crew are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. My wife HATES seeing wires. All of the cabling was run through the walls and the ceiling to a small closet where all of the equipment was stored. Even the front speaker cabling came out from under the baseboard as we didn't want plugs in the wall. Everything turned out beautifully looking as well as top performance. I am SO grateful for Digital Installers...this is the second time I have used them (just going back to the same company should say a lot about their level of service/reliability). I emailed on Wednesday to see if they could help that weekend move 3 TVs and mounts from our existing home in Signal Hill to our new home in Woodland Hills. Rusty respond immediately, then we spoke on the phone and he said even though he had 4 guys scheduled to be off that weekend he would make it happen. They did make it happen and Shawn and Jamie (I think that was their names - sorry if I got that wrong), were early (which NEVER happens these days), quick and beyond courteous and helpful in suggestions on the new installs. All looks great and was done with professional expertise. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 (which should actually be 4 1/2 if Yelp would let you do 1/2s) is that it was a little bit on the pricey side...the discount for being a repeat customer was 3% which didn't really make much of a dent in our $1500 bill (but that was for the take down of a 55" TV and mount, loading that and 2 new in box TVs, a mount for a 40" TV, and placing all 3 TVs at the new house with the wires being in wall and extra cables)...so I guess it wasn't THAT bad, but still a bit of a sticker shock for me. Called these guys,a couple of days ago and made an appointment. They came out yesterday. I'd been having issues for almost a year with 2 DVD players and a color saturation issue with my projector system. In fact, Geek Squad came out a month or so ago and could not resolve the colir saturation problem, so I was quite skeptical that these guys would have any positive outcomes. Nonetheless, Vanny (Yim) came out, did a visual inspection of the equipment, asked a few questions and got to work. He got the DVD running (wasn't connected properly....probably my doing), figured out that the color saturation problem was due to the color settings on the remote for the projector (why couldn't the Geeks figure this out?). Lastly, he did a firmware update for my upstairs DVD player. Long story short...all systems are now up and running properly after months of issues. I truly ecomnend Digital Installers if you have home theater issues. They are great and their pricing is reasonable! Vanny was professional, gave me tips on how to troubleshoot certain issues, was courteous in answering all questions we had. Sam and Brian just left after having completed my scheduled job. They were terrific. I was called about 30 minutes before the scheduled start time confirming they were on their way and would be there at the appointed time. When they arrived, we clarified the work to be done plus discussed some other options. The job was for running cable from an interior closet to multiple rooms. They provided a better suggestion than what I had originally requested and did it with patience as I asked a lot of questions. As the job progressed they kept me updated and answered even more questions. When they left, I think the areas they worked in were even cleaner and more tidy than when they arrived.
