    DILLI DILLI TIKKI

food is delicious and the flavors are nice and balanced here!! love that it focuses on Delhi street food and each dish is inspired by a specific spot there. Dilli Dilli tikki was my fav for the apps. paneer dishes here are yummy too and their house made paneer is soft and pairs so well with the onion seed naan. drinks here are also so tasty and the vibes are warm, cozy, and modern. solid spot for vegetarians- just pricy af as expected with more upscale places like this.

We were craving Indian food one evening and decided to try this place. My husband was especially curious about their creative cocktail menu, so we started with drinks. He ordered the Golgappa Margarita -- the concept sounded very interesting and unique, though the drink itself was just average for us. For appetizers, we tried the Natraj Bhalla, which was really enjoyable with all the different chutneys bringing a lot of flavor together. We also ordered the Chilli Cheese Toast, which tasted very close to the classic flavor we were hoping for, and the Tikki Chaat, which was again nicely seasoned and satisfying. For the main course, we went with Highway Paneer along with Rumali Roti and Garlic Naan, and that combination turned out to be very good. One downside was the wait time for the main course, which took about 45-50 minutes to arrive. That felt quite long and made the service seem a bit slow during our visit. That said, the ambience was lively and stylish, giving the restaurant a great vibe overall. Being a high-end Indian spot close to Times Square, the pricing is definitely on the higher side, which is somewhat expected for the location. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with flavorful food and a vibrant atmosphere, though the service speed could definitely improve.

The food, ambiance, and service here are on point. We had Faiz who was an amazing server. Very attentive. We came here as a party of five. Our favorite starters were the Koyla Chicken and Dilli Dilli Tikki. So flavorful. We also loved the Kulafi paneer, literally melts in your mouth! Old monk lamb chops had to have been some of the best lamb chops I've had. Seasoned to perfection and full of flavor. For our mains we followed the recommendations and indulged on chili paratha paired with butter chicken and lalaji ka daal. The daal was so comforting and rich. Punjabi bagh ka saag was phenomenal and took us right back to our roots of familiar Punjabi comfort food. Everyone enjoyed every single cocktail. Popular were the golgappa margarita, dill se, Delhi Negroni, and the Old India. Each drink was crafted perfectly and was well balanced. For dessert we loved the jalebi and shahi gulab jamun. What a phenomenal meal. They were child friendly and gave my son a mango lassi and plain naan which he loved. Hats off to Chef Vipul who is already a sincerely amazing person on such a great culinary experience in Times Square no less.

Excellent Indian cuisine but it's quite pricey, it's right on Times Square. The Pandara road butter chicken is delicious! Also a really cool staff that was very accommodating and there was a dance party going on downstairs when we were done eating. Great place to throw a birthday party!

Overall really convenient location and very flavorful food. Big downside is that they can't really customize to your taste if you want something spicy or mild, etc. which makes me think everything is pre-made already. All the food also came out lukewarm and not hot as it would be if freshly made. Also just like all other good Indian restaurants, this place is expensive as well for the portions they serve. Reservations are required but we were able to walk-in at about 630pm. We got the Onion Seed Naan (asked for crispy, didn't happen), side of Basmati rice (always a shocker that this is not included and costs $8 for a tiny bowl of white rice), Daal Maurya and Highway Paneer (asked both to be spicy and they weren't). Taste was good on everything though so worth a visit if you don't want to stray far from Times Square want decent expensive Indian food. Everything tasted good but came in tiny portions. We're used to sharing 1 entree between the 2 of us but here even the 2 entrees were barely enough to make us feel full and satisfied

Definitely a top 5 Indian spot in Manhattan. All the chicken apps were incredible and the chicken biryani was my personal favorite. The portion sizes were also very satisfying. Great ambience and the cocktails were very unique

Visited here for my mums birthday this evening (Saturday night right as the restaurant opened). We had such a lovely evening, our waiter Sagar was so sweet and attentive, as was the manager. His recommendations were excellent, and the food was so solid. We ordered the paneer app and chicken koyla, both of which were incredible. For mains we ordered the goat curry, the branzino (which was apparently an app, but def big enough to be a main), and the cauliflower. All the dishes were solid, I'd say the best main was the cauliflower, the goat and branzino were good and delicious, but my husband thought they were just ok. For dessert we had the jalebi, which was ok, but super sweet. I probably would skip dessert if I came back! Overall, really great restaurant, ambiance was lovely, staff was attentive, plus points for clean bathrooms as well!

Dilli Dilli has a nice ambiance and is in a great location. The staff were very nice and helpful, but a bit hard to track down. The food was solid overall. We loved the koyla chicken and gilafi paneer appetizers, and for mains, the baingan and dal mauriya. Definitely get family style so you can try everything. We also liked that the food didn't feel too heavy. I'd skip the chili cheese toast, kaju pista kofta (it was a bit sweet), and the nirula's fudge sundae. The royal tudka had a delicious flavor but got soggy very fast - keep in mind if you get it for dessert.

Dilli Dilli is a cozy, well-curated spot that brings the flavors of North and South Delhi to your table, making the experience very nostalgic. The short and sweet menu is thoughtfully designed, with a great mix of street-style and elevated dishes, all paired with a solid drink selection. The customer service is warm and attentive, which adds to the charm. One small suggestion. Since many dishes are named after Delhi neighborhoods, it would be great if servers explained where they're from. It would make the experience even more interesting for people who do not know these places in Delhi or have never visited Delhi. Overall, a lovely place to dine, especially if you're craving a taste of Delhi.

Great restaurant went for brunch definitely wanna come back for the dinner. I wouldn't go back for brunch but I will definitely try out the dinner. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very nice and the food came out very fast. I also got chicken tikka rolls that were good. Service was fast.

Arre bhaiya maza aa gaya. Rasteh mein delhi dikhe aur main andar na jaaun? Obv I got the Gupta burger. So exciting. I love the sesame bun, it's buttery, I think there's amul cheese, tangyness from the imli chutney, something crispy inside as well. The uncle chips were nothing special and I felt like they dulled the plate but overall solid job. Couldve been more theeka/chatpata but it's okay I was happy to be trying it. I would come back to try some of their other dishes to better compare it to other ny indian places and see if they truly do delhi better

However, we never really got to it, having been busy exploring the Semmas and Bungalows of the city. On a cold Saturday evening my partner and I decided to give Indian Accent a shot - got rather last minute reservations over the phone. They were kind enough to accommodate us for a 7 pm slot, and once we got there we were seated immediately. We chose the four course menu, and found each course to be better than the one before! The shorba (soup) and garlic kulcha amuse bouche was a nice touch to get things started - loved the tiny terracotta mugs. Proceeded onto the shakarkandi chaat and the chilly pork roti - the former reminding me of the delectable street food in Delhi winters with the latter being a very good Indian rif on birria tacos. The star of the show for me was the Tofu medu vada - so unique and flavorful and melt in the mouth! I've not had anything quite like it before. My partner had the wagyu kebab that he said was excellent! For mains we had the chicken malai and the paneer - both tasty, but by this point we were already so full, and had to get most of the mains to go. But because there's always room for dessert, for our final course we scarfed down doda barfi with ice-cream and sticky toffee banana pudding - both of which were finger licking delish! Our service was great too - Ty our server was so nice and had the best recommendations. I'd have never gone for the tofu medu vada among all the other options and he urged me to, and it really turned out to be the highlight of my meal. The cocktails were good too. All in all, I think this is such a nice upscale Indian dining spot for a night out in the city. Having tried most of the other trending newer spots, i think Indian Accent sits right among the top! I'd highly recommend and cannot wait to be back!

The star of the show is Jaz herself -- the owner, hostess, and bartender all rolled into one wonderfully warm, charming British woman who somehow makes you feel like you've been a regular for years within thirty seconds of walking through the door. She's the kind of host who remembers how you like your chai and makes the whole room feel like her living room. Now, the food. The Chana Masala is deeply spiced, rich with tomato and chickpeas, the kind of dish that makes you question every mediocre version you've had before. The Saag is silky, fragrant, and genuinely soulful -- spinach that actually tastes like something. And the Onion Kulcha? Pillowy, caramelized, absolutely yummy -- the kind of bread you'll be tearing into long after you're full. The flavors here are the real thing -- bold, layered, and unapologetically authentic.
