After dropping kids for their flight at the airport, I decided to make a pitstop, since traffic was extremely heavy at 5 PM. As usual, another satisfied visit. Got my go to items and paid a few of my bills and finished some emails and texts. There is plenty of seating and it's quite peaceful inside. I am a huge fan of Greek food, so I was super excited at the prospect of a Greek buffet! The place is quite large when you walk in and has a long set of cooling and warming tables. The first set is of cold salads and a great way to start your meal. Then it moves on to stuffed grape leaves, chicken, gyros, fish which was all delicious. I marked this restaurant down a star to four stars as there was a sign that you had to ask for lamb shank. This was the only lamb available besides Gyros. We were there for at least 30 minutes and never did anyone come out of the kitchen that I could ask for lamb shank. This was very disappointing as it is my favorite. And for nearly $20 per person for a lunch buffet, lamb should be included. So while dessert of baklava and rice pudding was great we most likely will not return. read more

I go to all the Demasi's, most of their food is never cooked right and it's cold. The Woodlands Demasi is 100 times better. Their food is a whole lot better. I have seen this restaurant go from a 10 and down to a two. I will never go back. The dishes were dirty. Several of them I noticed there were flies in some of the food swarming around. And I noticed the employees eating food and then serving food that grows me out. read more

They have a good variety when it comes to food AND drinks. The customer service was great, restaurant was clean, and most importantly food was delicious. I will keep returning. I will keep enjoying. Dimassi's makes me smile. read more

Was near this place today for lunch, so i decided to stop by and see how they have been doing, and was ready for the weekend special of lamb shanks. When I got there come to find out they don't serve the lamb shanks till after 4pm, bummer. That's ok, I ate what they had. Good food, great tasting. My only complaint is that the area where I was sitting at, near the drink station, seemed pretty hot, no ac or fan seemed to be keeping that area cool. The music was blaring, and at times bursts of static sound. Other than that, everything was great, except for the fact of not serving the lamb shanks for lunch. This place has great food. The person who checks you in tells you about what they have if it is your first time and is very friendly. They have some of the best eggplant that I have ever had. A beverage is included in the price making it a better deal than many other buffets. We will definitely visit again if in the Houston area. read more

Dimassi's is definitely somewhere you go when you have a large appetite. It has a wonderful buffet full of different salads meats Rice's potatoes it has a lot. You can go back as many times as you want, The food doesn't make you feel so bad because it is pretty healthy, most of it. The restaurant is clean and inviting it's great if you have a large party of people that may want something different they do serve chickens in several different forms vegetables and several different types cooking types and different vegetable types so there's really something for everybody. We came to Demassi after couple hours of pickleball. We were hungry after the game. I've seen the restaurant in Houston. They have multiple locations. We came in around 8:30 pm. Place is pretty spacious. Not too many customers as it's pas dinner time already but food was aplenty. We sat ourselves in one of the unoccupied tables to drop our stuff and walked around the buffet. We started off with the salads, hummus, baba ghanoush and bread. They have different kinds of hummus... regular, spicy and avocado. Different salads as well... since I like beets, chose the one with beets. During weekend dinners, you can ask for the lamb shank. It was pretty tasty although I would have liked it to be with more sauce. We had the baked chicken with rice, meatballs, eggplant, grilled cauliflower (yum!), and baked fish. Probably missed a couple of dishes as there were so many choices. Buffet came with drinks (soda, rose water and tea). For desserts, they have baklava (it was good but too sweet for my taste) and namoura (like coconut macaroons). Staff came over a couple of times to get our plates. Pretty efficient. You pay after eating at the counter on your way out. Overall, for the price and food, well worth the visit. Will plan to come again when we play pickleball again. read more

Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet has a wide selection of food. I came in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. While it is a bit more expensive on the weekends, you can get 10% off by checking in on Yelp! I particularly enjoyed the appetizers (including the fresh pita and different varieties of hummus). Most of the meats I tried were okay but a little dry. However I appreciated that all of the meat was halal. Dessert options included baklava and ice cream! I was too full for the ice cream, but the baklava I tried was also okay. There is a huge buffet that includes fresh pita bread, hummus, salads, soups, all the ingredients to make a gyro, lamb shank (upon request 1 per person), veggie options and other meat options. Everything was tasty and fresh. They also have fruit and desserts including oranges, cantaloupe, baklava, and Ice cream. Hostess was friendly. Best buffet I have been to. I will start ny saying I usually don't like buffets because the food is low quality and unhealthy- that is not the case here. Every dish is made with the same quality as if made to order (ie, not oily, not everything fried, good quality meats) in addition to having a wide array of dishes for meat eaters, pescatarians and vegetarians and sides. in addition, each customer is able to get one leg of lamb which was delicious and tender. During my one week stay in Houston, I ate here twice because it was a great deal. Went ~7-8pm on weekdays and there were max 4 other tables occupied. Come with an appetite and get your money's worth. Why did the baba ghanoush taste like a margarita? That was by far the weirdest and worst I've ever had. The lentils and rice absolutely no flavor. The fatoush, cucumbers were all bitter. Tabouli was lacking lemon juice. I'm middle eastern and none of this tasted good. But the baklava was good. But nearly $2 for a tiny inch size piece? Sadly. A few years back it was great.
