The deli is great for breakfast or lunch. I enjoy the daily specials and the customer service is always very good.

Genuinely good food. Asian options are standouts, especially the chicken banh mi. Support our local owners and give them a try!

It may come as a disappointment to Larry B (seeing he did an elaborate play on "Jung") but this deli is actually called Interwood Deli.

I've been on a Bun Bo Hue kick and while I have yet to find one that I've enjoyed more than regular pho, Huynh's was probably the best I've had yet. 4.3/5 The Duck Tea Leaf Salad was bright and very refreshing. Ordered as an appetizer, it was huge and was close to being a meal all by itself. I thought I had over ordered and probably did, but everything was so damn good, I finished it all. 5/5 Coconut coffee - this was my first time trying this. Served like a Vietnamese affogato, it came with a cup of coconut milk with coconut ice cream along with an espresso of Vietnamese coffee. Lord and waistline willing, I would consume one of these everyday. The contrasts of hot and cold, the bitterness of coffee with the creaminess of coconut. It all balanced and went so well together. Highly, highly recommend. 6/5 On top of all the amazing food was the service. I had just arrived from the airport and came close to their lunch closing time. They welcomed me graciously and without hesitation. As they began their lunch and I was finishing mine, multiple staff members paused their meals to refill water check in, etc. for not only me, but the other few remaining stragglers of the lunch crowd. Huynh is every bit worth it. I will be back each time I'm in town

The only thing I'd skip next time is the duck salad personally. It's not bad but didn't stand out. But I'm also not a huge fan of a bunch of cabbage in my salads. Because this is an excellent combination of thai and bbq…read more --- --- --- Up in the north burbs, we recently had a similar fusion concept (thai + BBQ) open up and we really love it. It's not a combo I get bored of easily, so I was happy to try another rendition. And I'm happy to say I really enjoyed it. We started off by sharing the brisket egg rolls and the brisket curly fries - both were home runs. No notes. I really wanted to try the brussels sprouts too but was overruled on that. And then I ordered a bowl with pad thai and brisket. The brisket was very thinly sliced and I'd call it more "good" than "great", but the pad thai noodles were absolute heaven. Some of the best I've had in a long time, to be honest. A cool thing about the restaurant is that there's a secret door that takes you into a space with a completely different vibe - somewhat of an upscale speakeasy situation. We were the only people in the place, but I could definitely see how they could utilize both spaces, whether just want some fast casual-ish dining or kind of a fancy night out. A really unique concept on both fronts and I hope to visit again!

The green mango salad has glass noodles, so it makes the dish very filling. It's bursting with flavors, and hits all the notes...salty, sweet and savory. The kimchi is outstanding! So much so that I no longer order the side but opt for the Jarred option, it's bursting with flavor. The cabbage has a wonderful texture, it's a perfect balance. The curry puff was good, I would have preferred a more pronounced curry flavor but the flakiness made up for it. The orange chicken was good, I would have liked more sauce but it was still very good. All in all it was a great meal!

The mapo tofu is one of the best we've had outside of Bellaire with spicy, savory, numbing, and warmth that you expect from a good mapo tofu. Crispy popcorn chicken is a classic that's spicy, lightly fried, and crisp. It has an authenticity that other places around can't replicate and makes you keep craving more. The portions are also appropriate for their price. Service is incredibly quick, and you can order as you go and receive your dish within 10-15 minutes, regardless of how busy they are. As for the ambiance, it's loud, it's hectic, and it's simple... maybe a stretch, but makes me feel like I'm eating at a mom and pop shop in the heart of China. This place is definitely a go to if I'm convincing a friend of Houston's great food scene! Rating: 4.5/5

Felt and tasted like it was raw even though I know it wasn't. Weird. Perhaps their other stuff is great but I couldn't finish this. Tasted like it was frozen dumplings from the grocery store just heated there. I mean it tasted factory made to me. I have no doubt many dumplings restaurants premake and freeze their dumplings to be steamed or fried later, but they still taste like they're made in-house. Didn't get that impression at Dough Zone. I don't know the real situation. In Houston you are up against some really spectacular dumpling places.

After being seated, I informed the waiter that I would place a to-go order instead. About 20 minutes later, our food was ready. At that point, our daughter woke up, so we hoped to continue dining in as originally planned. I politely asked the waiter if we could finish our meal there. We didn't expect him to continue serving us--we simply wanted to sit and eat the food we had ordered. I had already tipped him on the to-go order. His response was blunt and shocking: "No, you have to leave. The table was given to someone else for a 7:30 reservation." There was no attempt to find a solution or offer an alternative--just a direct order to leave. This was a Thursday night, the restaurant was not busy, and there were outdoor tables and other seating available. We felt incredibly insulted by the attitude. When we spoke to the manager, he simply repeated that the table was reserved and backed up the waiter, without suggesting another table or even asking us to wait for the next available one, until we brought up the point that he could have asked if we have an option to wait for the next table?? Then the manager went ok do you want to have another table just because we asked. What stood out most wasn't the reservation issue, but the complete lack of hospitality, flexibility, or basic courtesy. This experience spoke volumes about the customer service here, and unfortunately, it's the reason we won't be returning.
