Chicken Parmesan. He said it was very tasty. The bread was mediocre, but at least it was garlic bread.

We went tonight, it is Monday and it was "Italian night." We got there in time for happy hour as well so I had an espresso martini. It was a little smaller than I'm used to, but it was six dollars and it was delicious! And it had just enough alcohol, I don't think I could've had more. My husband got the chicken Parmesan with a salad. I ordered the new mushroom and garlic chicken penne. Both were incredibly tasty. They both came with garlic bread, which, on a scale from one to five, was probably a three but I love bread so it's fine! He really liked the sauce on his chicken Parm. His salad looked like a basic bagged salad, though, but the ranch was good and he enjoyed it. To order it separate it is six dollars and that always blows my mind because bagged salad does not come even close to that and a salad made from real iceberg is so much better than the bagged version. That being said, he also got a side of broccoli which, I believe, is a lemon garlic broccoli. He said it was very good. I meant to taste it, but I was busy with my plate and I forgot. I ordered my meal with the wedding soup. On a scale from 1 to 5, I give the wedding soup a three. It had a whole lot of broth, more than I would normally expect in a cup of soup. It was good, but didn't have a lot of kale or spinach, I've had better elsewhere. Still, it wasn't too salty and it was a nice change from the salad I usually get. My pasta was the mushroom garlic chicken penne. The flavor was very good. However, my only real complaint was that the sauce was like soup and not sauce. It came with a butter, garlic sauce I want to say, but it could've used some thickening with some pasta water. I'm not sure if they thickened it ahead of time, my spoon did have what looked like a little bit of thickened residue, but the chef really needed to add more pasta water for thickening. It was way too thin. I was worried the entire time I was eating it, but it was going to drip on my shirt. I brought half of it home because after the Martini I wasn't feeling all that hungry. She gave me a regular Styrofoam container so I left most of the sauce behind because I knew it would just drip out. It's like putting soup in one of those clamshell containers, you know that's a bad idea. Even though I left the broth behind, my husband took the container and brought it in the house before I came in. When he came out, he had it all over his pants, all over the sidewalk... Apparently the penne hid a lot of the sauce inside of the noodles and he must not have been very careful carrying it. I will have the rest of it tomorrow, though, I'm sure it will be fine, although probably not as flavorful since most of the sauce is on my sidewalk or my husband's pants.

Great little casual and cozy dive bar located on Cavitt Ave in Trafford…read more Allyssa was great. Very friendly with a great attitude. Warm and welcoming towards a new face. I was in the area and decided to check it out. I appreciate a smoking bar that isn't a big cloud of smoke. Well ventilated so that is always a plus. There's a rustic feel to the bar which works well with the dive bar atmosphere. For a small bar they have a nice craft beer selection. I got a nice vibe from the customers at and around the bar. A nice local, small town feel. I didn't feel out of place at all and could see myself visiting again soon!

The regulars are friendly, the bartenders are attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. You can tell it's the kind of spot where locals have been coming for years, but newcomers are made to feel comfortable too. It has that old-school charm without feeling run-down, which is rare. The lighting makes it easy to relax and actually see what's going on, and the place is kept tidy compared to a lot of smoky bars. It's not a fancy place, but it doesn't try to be--it's just a solid, straightforward bar where you can grab a cheap drink, chat with people, and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. If you're looking for a polished cocktail lounge, this isn't it. But if you want a classic neighborhood tavern that feels safe, friendly, and easygoing, Krick's is a great choice.

The drive is beautiful, especially on a sunny day in the fall. The leaves are incredible. As you're driving winding roads along Wills Creek, Hillbilly Haven pops out of nowhere. You'll see plenty of pick-up trucks, four-wheelers and side-by-sides. What you get: is an absolutely quintessential dark, country, dive bar. Beloved by locals, they have pool tables, a small live music and dance area inside and a really nice outside area in the back. You'll meet some of the nicest people. Just remember-it is a local country bar and when in Rome... Here's the big draw-oh my goodness, the food! People come from miles away to get take-out. The wings are perfectly seasoned no matter the sauce/rub, juicy but crisp. The Hillbilly Deluxe burger puts a Big Mac to shame. The smoked meats are done on site by people who really know what they're doing. If you're looking for a Saturday or Sunday road trip on a pretty day and some terrific food, find Hillbilly Haven.
