I was in the area and decided to check it out. I appreciate a smoking bar that isn't a big cloud of smoke. Well ventilated so that is always a plus. There's a rustic feel to the bar which works well with the dive bar atmosphere. For a small bar they have a nice craft beer selection. I got a nice vibe from the customers at and around the bar. Beloved by locals, they have pool tables, a small live music and dance area inside and a really nice outside area in the back. You'll meet some of the nicest people. The wings are perfectly seasoned no matter the sauce/rub, juicy but crisp. The Hillbilly Deluxe burger puts a Big Mac to shame. I ate a Belgian waffle with strawberries, whipped cream, powdered sugar, and syrup, and I rate it as 4.5 stars. My husband ate the Creekside Omelette, which contained ham, bacon, green pepper, onion, and cheddar cheese, as well as a cream-cheese bagel, and he liked them. The total price was $21 plus tax and tip.
