If you are from the east coast, Diner Ross is the vibe! It makes you feel like you are back there in some place from the 1970s in NYC. In fact, I found stuff on the walls that my dad definitely has from that time period. The decor and detail are certainly part of the experience. We had put allergies on our reservation and our waiter went above and beyond to verify the items we ordered would be super safe. I got fries and a strawberry cheesecake shake. The fries had a good amount of salt on them and were served hot and crispy. The milkshake tasted as described but I found there was a lot of whipped cream. The cheesecake pop was a nice touch to add contrasting texture. They also give you the excess which is great for sharing.

We had a good time at Diner Ross. It was certainly hard to find, but we made it. The restaurant is located beyond a NY-style subway bar, which was fun. But, the bar is very distracting from the restaurant, and it almost felt like the bar staff were trying to keep us from going to dinner upstairs. Once upstairs, you need to walk past another bar, which was completely empty. Once seated inside the restaurant, it was very cute with the nostalgic diner theme. The food was okay, not amazing for the price. The house bread however, did NOT disappoint. We did enjoy the little side shows, however - with some servers skating through the restaurant and I think we even got a giant rat (someone was dressed up as one, not a literal rat) running through the restaurant, which I assume came from downstairs! It was our wedding weekend and my soon-to-be husband's birthday, and they were nice enough to help us celebrate with a little sundae! All in all, thank you Amex for helping us find this spot, but we're not sure we'll return, especially with the $35 parking and no validation option.

    Retro interior is so cool.

Hubby and I bought tickets to DiscoShow and decided to make a night of it and have a preshow dinner at Diner Ross. Since we were decked out in disco costumes, it made for a fun, lively, and themed atmosphere for our entire evening. Diner Ross is a restaurant with an identity crisis. The night we went, it had literally been a steakhouse for three days. As such, two of the best sounding steak dishes were sold out for the day. At 6:30 pm. Yikes. The manager was very apologetic and comped us two free cocktails to make up for it, and he was especially happy to do so when we told him we were locals. The restaurant nails its 70s retro theming. You literally walk up a tunnel that looks like a gritty NYC subway and emerge in a totally immersive restaurant. The hostess stand is an old hot dog cart! The dark booths and mood lighting are perfection, and it was so fun to see all the diners who were also dressed up for the show. I felt like I was in a time capsule back to 1975! The menu is weird, but we opted for a few of the better sounding dishes. We couldn't resist an order of the Disco Fries to share, and they were a highlight. Crispy, hot, and covered in a spicy brown gravy, you've got to try these. The complimentary popovers weren't my favorite, but that's a bread that I've never really cared for. Hubby got a steak with shrimp and I got the airline chicken breast. Our dishes were gorgeously plated, and we both very much enjoyed the entrees. My chicken was tender and moist, and the sweet potatoes and green beans were delicious and not an afterthought. Hubby couldn't eat even half of his meal since it was SO huge. Adding the shrimp was a mistake, this was just way too big of a portion. We skipped dessert because we were so stuffed, but nothing on the menu really appealed to either of us. You can tell the chef is a real culinary person, because everything seemed so meticulously planned out. I think turning this place into a fancy steakhouse may be a mistake, as I would've much rather enjoyed a bunch of 70s inspired appetizers to share rather than a heavy dinner before a show that requires a lot of dancing! The service was excellent, and the prices in line for the experience. I would love to go back to eat here even if I didn't have show tickets. It's a pretty groovy place for sure.

Hanger steak & mac n cheese

A blast from the past & back into the 70's with this gem of a restaurant. My husband and I came to Diner Ross for a special dinner night out while in town for the holidays. We had planned to see the show afterwards but there was a mix up with our tickets, honestly it ended up being no worries at all since we had such a great time at dinner the show wasn't even needed. The restaurant is a bit hidden and tucked away in the upstairs, back corner of the Disco Show event space. Once inside each and every detail from the décor to the furniture is 70s'fied. I manifested roller skaters, and I got plenty during our time. Not only were the atmosphere and performers on point but the food was incredible. We started off with the oysters which had been topped with popping mignonette balls. For an entrée we shared the hanger steak and the mac n cheese. The mac ended up being the absolute star of the show for us. One of the best I've ever had! It had a bit of a French onion flare and was so cheesy. It felt like my mouth got a warm hug with every bite. Truly a great meal from start to finish. The service was great, an intriguing atmosphere and tasty cocktails too! Make this your next date night out & you won't regret it!

    Awesome pork chop (sorry, "ribeye")

This is an interesting place. Tucked away in what is, for me, almost a forgotten Strip property (Linq), it's a journey to get to, crawling through halls and stairs that look like a graffiti bomb went off, but it's worth it. The vibe is pure 70s, from music to decor, with maybe even some late 60s thrown in. But what of the food? As there were four hungry diners, we tried a variety of dishes: Fried olives - Creative appetizer that satisfied the two olive fans among our group, they were fried in a golden brown batter and contained sausage and a nice saffron aioli for dipping. Loved them! Pork ribeye - Despite the name, I think this was basically a fancy pork chop, but it was a good, thick cut, yet tender, with a slightly sweet banh mi glaze. Accompanying noodle salad was good, but I focused more on the fries that came with... Steak Frites - The classic dish, featuring french fries and a slab of flank steak, this dish was excellent as it didn't try to be too fancy. Tender beef and well cooked fries made it a great main course. Mac and cheese - The weakest of the dishes we tried, it was OK, but not terribly flavorful, and the pasta was a little overdone. Overall, the food was good, but I think the main draw of this place is the vibe. Definitely check it out if you're a child of or fan of the 70s!

    Back again!

Although Disco Show recently ended it's run, there should be nothing stopping you from talking the walk up from the 99 Prince Bar for a fantastic meal at Diner Ross! The decor is fun, like being transported to a 1970's diner in New York. The staff all dress in era appropriate clothing without being cheesy, but you'll also encounter an occasional Spiegelworld performer like the Silver Man or the Singing Rat which adds this great level of whimsy to the laid back environment. We originally tried their food at the Yelp Very Vegas event in 2024, and have since been twice. I think they have a seasonal menu or it had at least changed between our first visit in January to our second visit in November. The food is great! I went with the Delancy Burger and upgraded my fries to Disco Fries (adds cheese sauce & brown gravy). It was a ton of food haha. The burger was cooked exactly as requested, the meat was delicious while the cheese, pickles and brown gravy to dip in really tied it all together. The Disco Fries ended up being a little too much for me but they are decadent if you're really wanting to go nuts. The cocktails here are awesome as well. I've had the Wallbanger previously and enjoyed it, but the Mancuso Margarita is my go-to for sure. Featuring a spicy rim, the drinks is a yuzu and pineapple margarita with a dash of fernet and sherry to add bitterness, nutty flavor and salinity. I'd drink them all night if I could haha. Overall this is a very unique and fun "diner" experience that brings upscale ingredients and quality drinks into a fun environment. Plus, 99 Prince Bar is just a flight of stairs below you if you want to stay in the New York vibe and keep the party going!

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem My significant other brought me here to celebrate my birthday. This steakhouse has the cutest concept. It definitely sets itself apart from your boring, average steakhouse in so many ways. The theme is 1970s New York City, and you feel that vibe as soon as you enter the downstairs area, and head up towards the restaurant entrance. The walkway was bluelit and filled with graffiti, reminding me of the entrance into a New York subway. Throughout our visit there were various appearances from employees. We got a musical performance from a lady dressed in a rat costume, and we came across Afrodite and Apollo in their groovy outfits and roller skates. The decor is everything and more, and I love the servers' commitment to conveying the restaurant's theme. The service was excellent. Our server recommended many things for us, and any items we ate did not disappoint. Her assistant made sure our glasses of water stayed full, and he also was quite the comedian. We treated ourselves, and ordered quite a bit from the menu. The standouts of the night were the Chargrilled Oysters, the French Onion Mac and Cheese, the Thai shrimp, the Cherry Paloma cocktail, and the Chai Spiced Tres Leches cake. I would 100% return to this restaurant, and recommend it to others.

This was the cutest little hidden bar 99Prince behind the Diner Ross entrance inside the Linq. The lighting the ambiance the vibes all passed the check. Reasonable pricing and very intimate little spot to come with friends. We all came after the EDC parade and, as expected, it wasn't overly packed. Actually kinda empty- most people were at EDC. I didn't have any food and don't quite remember if there was a food menu. Good times!!

Creamed spinach - delicious and just the right thickness

A steakhouse diner with ambience. Perfect spot to celebrate my birthday with friends. We planned on the Disco Show afterwards and it did not disappoint. My group shared the Ribeye. The hollandaise sauce did not taste right. We had to send it back. It was spicy. We asked if it was the pink peppercorns sauce but staff insisted it was hollandaise. The potato croquettes were very flavorful. I could have eaten more, but our favorite app was the bone marrow. It was so well done! Steak was cooked perfectly. It was large enough that 3 woman split 1 ribeye. The green goddess salad was a hit. We ordered a popover and some ladies were dipping the popover in the green goddess dressing. Sides included the creamed spinach, scalloped gratin potatoes, and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was very smoky in flavor. Not my favorite. The other 2 were just what I wanted. Classic steakhouse sided. We had to order the marshmallow table side dessert. It was fun to watch the blow torch, but it was too sweet for us. A cup of ice cream with brownies was brought with a candle. Some of us preferred the simplicity of that.

Wow what an amazing dining experience! Diner Ross recently made a menu change to "Diner Ross Steakhouse" and my friend and I went at the end of August! What an incredible time we had! We tried a lot on the menu (too much for two people really but we are not going to talk about that) so let's get into the food and experience: My friend and I participated in the $48 after 8pm deal. I would highly recommend booking after 8pm and booking this deal as it was well worth it and allowed us to try a little bit of everything. The Coconut Seabass Ceviche: this was, in my opinion, the star of the show! If Superfrico has the mozzarella cart, this is Diner Ross's show piece. A cart is brought out with coconuts and the ceviche is made in front of you. It is a show stopper and it is delicious as well. I've never eaten out of a coconut and it cannot be beaten! Baked Potato Croquettes: I actually dream about these. Genuinely if you get one little appetizer/small bite and you like potatoes this will be a favorite for everyone at the table. Love it. Thai Shrimp: amazing flavor and a perfect bite if you want something a bit lighter with flavor The Steak Frites: this was cooked perfectly and the sauces I added balanced the steak wonderfully. The fries were fine but I was so full from everything else I couldn't eat them. Now for service and atmosphere: Our server, Alfredo, was incredible. If you are lucky enough to have him as your server you know you're going to have a good time. He is knowledgeable, a great server, and quite funny as well. I couldn't ask for a better server during our experience. The atmosphere is gorgeous- I love the look of this restaurant. It immediately transports you to a different time... specifically an elevated diner in New York in the 1970s. The vibes are very cozy and approachable. This could be a great date spot but also a great spot for a business meeting. Some of the skaters from DiscoShow happened to pop in during our dining experience. It was pretty neat to see the performers carry into our dining experience. Overall review: you need to check this place out! If you came before the menu change come back and try more things! I love the menu changes.

Ribeye with bone marrow butter and chimichurri and bernaise

I'm super pleasantly surprised at how great Diner Ross Steakhouse was. I will admit that I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to try them when it was a "diner" and not a steakhouse, but to be honest, the food, atmosphere and service were so good, I didn't feel like I missed anything at all. Walking in, we were greeted by someone outside, in the casino, who brought us inside and let us know where to go. He was so fun and really set the mood for the night. We walk up the dimly lie, blue, graffitied stairs and see the waiting area for Discoshow with one of its bars and the hot dog umbrella stand host stand for Diner Ross. So freaking clever and fun. The decor in the restaurant is full nostalgia, late 70's - early 80's fun. Took me way to long to realize the name is a play on Diana Ross. There is a lot to look at here and while the tables (well, mainly the 2 tops) are a bit small, the seating is comfortable. Our server was excellent, allowing us to have time to peruse the menu but also always available. He had some really good recommendations and we appreciated the swift service. Our meals came out pretty fast, which was good because we were a little late and didn't want to be late to our show. The cocktail menu is fun and creative and not one that I tried wasn't excellent. The food is really good as well. Our steak was cooked to perfection and now I feel like I need to put bone marrow butter on all of my steaks from now on. All in all, a really good time, with really good cocktails and food.

I spent about $1,200 on dinner with tip. The meal had some highs and lows: Starters & Apps * The bread was unique--light and puffy. * We ordered the bone marrow, an A5 Wagyu flight, and the seafood tower to share. The tartare served on the marrow was excellent, and the marrow itself was well-seasoned and generous. * The A5 Wagyu flight was absolutely the highlight of the evening--top notch. * The seafood tower was a nice surprise with caviar on the oysters (a thoughtful touch). The lobster was sweet, the crab ceviche was decent, and the oysters Rockefeller that came with the marrow were just okay. Mains & Sides * I shared a tomahawk with a friend. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. * Sides were mixed: the candied carrots were fantastic, creamed spinach was solid, but the mashed potatoes were disappointing--over-starched and grainy. Service & Experience * Service started off poorly--we had three different servers before finally being taken care of properly. * The hostess kept us waiting at least 15 minutes before seating us. * Once things settled, our third server did a great job and ended the night on a positive note. Overall While the dinner had standout moments--particularly the A5 Wagyu and the thoughtful details on the seafood tower-- estly service issues and a few underwhelming dishes made the experience fall short of what I'd expect for a $1,000+ meal. The bread was a bit much me and over powered the well seasoned marrow. I think more bread and se better prep with the marrow is needed...some places remove it add some ingredients and put it back in the bone for presentation.

All I remember was going through the casino areas of Paris Hotel, and then going down one floor to the Horseshoe area to reach this bar just minutes before closing on a Friday close to midnight. I quickly grabbed a seat at the bar area and perused the menu, which has a ton of drinks, beers, wines, mocktails and even snacks. Even when close to closing time, patrons filled up all the bar seating which isn't a lot; most seating was couches and tables near the knickknacks. I got myself the Bee's Knees, which is cranberry and pineapple juice, apple puree, cinnamon fire syrup and some ginger beer according to their menu just outside the front entrance. I can only describe the taste as a sweetened fruit juice with a ton of fizz from the ginger beer, and the pineapple and apple came out on top for overpowering the drink overall. Some mint leaves and a slice of grapefruit were added in, and the mint leaves made this drink feel more like a special cocktail. This and other mocktails is $13 before tax, so pretty high price especially when considering their other alcoholic drinks are not that much higher than that... I actually still loved my drink, though! It was a nice wrap-up for my last day in Vegas and I'm curious now to look a lot more carefully at the stuff on the walls if I ever come here again!

And it's a perfectly convenient stop for a drink when meeting others in the lobby to leave for dinner. Bartender Christian is as friendly as all the staff at the Rio and took great care of us. The cocktail game is real and we had some excellent, beautiful drinks. There was a live singer some nights. (Lapa & Luckley's have happy hours a few days a week) Also, I don't know how often this happens, but while in the casino we were given a buy one get one coupon for drinks here! But be sure to tip on your total before the discount ;)

Sure, it is known; however, it was surprisingly not that busy for a Friday. We were seated at a shell like booth and this space between the back side of the Players Club and the Cash cage, is a lovely and elegant place. Is it expensive? yes. Most other fine establishments are also expensive in Vegas. It is what it has become. Is that good? Probably not; however, it does give you the opportunity to experience something unique and special. Although we had one server, the servers worked very well together throughout our 90 minutes here and really team assisted with each other. Between the two of us, we had three drinks. You can page through the very detailed menu, and I decided to have the Passion's Serenade drink, which was a glass partially frozen with a coconut and passionfruit puree and then also had some chocolate rum, vanilla and fresno chili. It was a delicious drink, and actually was a great "sit back and wait" drink, because it took a while for the frozen portion to melt. The experience comes with some complimentary bar snacks and then some complimentary mini jello shots on the way out. The check is presented in an exquisite "Vault" Type of book. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would return again in the future. Expect drink prices to range from about $30 to $70, with some even higher for the "market price" drinks.

The highlight of this evening was this hidden speakeasy cocktail bar inside the Bellagio!…read more Paisley greeted us as we entered The Vault and let us know that without a reservation we only had the option of seats at the bar. We've have awesome experiences watching bartenders before AND we were determined to stay so we happily agreed. Paisley was a delight to chat with as we waited for only 10 minutes while seats opened up for us at the bar. I also got to check out the restroom, which boasts a high tech toilet with automated opening/flushing and a heated seat! We had the pleasure of meeting Michael our bartender and Yesi the bartender apprentice, and regulars Bill and Kim from Texas on one side of us, and Mario from California on the other as we spent the next hour and half savoring one luxury cocktail each and some complimentary snacks (seasoned pistachio nuts, cheesy crackers, and a little amazing bite that I can't remember the ingredients of). Welcome complimentary drinks: "Key to my heart" -- fun little rum drinks to start off with served in a spherical black case surrounded by dry ice! (See video). A bit sweet for my taste but tasty and just a little shot's worth (to be sipped). Cocktails: La Vie En Rose: (5/5) Rose infused gin, house made strawberry infused sweet vermouth, aperol, orange essence. Gorgeous spherical ice cube with a real flower frozen inside). Described as a summer Negroni. I chose it because I love Negronis and am always up for trying a variation on a classic like that. The Fountain (5/5): bourbon, Punt e mes vermouth (55 year old bottle!), orange essence. The Vault's take on the classic Manhattan. Michael gave us a taste of the punt e mes sweet vermouth and it was sublime. Both spectacular cocktails were definitely made for sipping and savoring. And to top it off! Little espresso shots at the end....mmm delectable dessert my bites to complete a flawless experience. We'll be back! Michael is a masterful mixologist and Yesi is an awesome apprentice! Highly recommend!
