I got their Aloe Vera Kiwi Juice and Mango Slush. Both of them had a very weird, bitter taste. I often visit this location and get these drinks with the same modifications so I know that the flavor is off and not what it should taste like. The color of the aloe vera kiwi juice was visually different too. It was a dark green color when it's usually a vivid green. I couldn't take more than a sip of both drinks before I threw them out. It looked like there was only one person working front of house, so asking her for a remake didn't seem conducive to a better drink. read more

Haven't had Ding Tea in a minute, so happy this place is still here! Friendly service from the lovely lady that took my order and carefully prepared my drink. I got the signature milk tea, little did I know that it would have boba and caramel! A few things that would be helpful would be to add what's included with each drink bc I just wanted the milk tea itself LOL. I guess that's my fault for not asking but how would I know if there was no description! In addition, the price was not accurate from their menu posted vs what I was charged. The signature milk tea reads $5.75 on the menu but was charged $6.25 + tax so about $6.70 ish. I mean it's just a dollar, but it would be helpful. We came in after a visit to Knotts and StarBread to have some drinks for our long drive home. There was only one girl workings and she was very sweet and patient as I did a big order for my family of 5. Everyone loved their boba drinks, I ordered my tea at 1/2 sweet and it was perfect, their boba was soft and chewy, perfect texture. She was definitely hustling with everyone coming in and maintained a professional and friendly attitude the entire time. We would definitely come back and visit when in the area again, great first visit and experience! read more

I came on a Sunday evening and there were no customers. I have not been here in years. The quality and service went down. There was young tall male that made my drink. There was no effort because I remember workers would actually "shake" the shaker cup when preparing your drink, but he just poured ice and tea together. No greeting or thank you either. The drink just tasted like bland tea with smushy boba. Bad drinks & bad service. I would not recommend this place for others. read more

We love this place! Food is so good, drinks so creative and tasty , with adjustable sugar levels! The fried rich with shaken beef was top tier for a boba shop, highly impressed and we keep coming back! Love the fried popcorn chicken as well! They also have banh mi and other dishes. This boba shop is amazing! The drinks are always fresh and perfectly balanced--not too sweet, with tons of flavor. The boba is soft, chewy, and cooked just right every time. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick even when it's busy. The shop itself is clean, cozy, and has a great vibe.. I order it the ice Jasmine green tea and it was absolutely outstanding--smooth, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. The floral jasmine aroma is fresh and calming without being overpowering, and the tea tastes clean and refreshing with no bitterness. You can really tell it's made with quality ingredients. I've been a regular at Ding Tea for a long time. My favorite has been "Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea" for over 6 years. However, now it seems a little bland (maybe I've changed my taste). But now I'm in love with my new favorite, "Hokkaido Coffee." I always ask for no ice (since I drink it later) and half sweet. I love it so far; I love the GG location,but this location is really close to my house,save my time. The service at Ding Tea can be inconsistent since different staff members are usually on duty during my visits. However, it doesn't bother me much. I typically call ahead, pick up my order, and go. The price for a large size is $7.50, and I love choosing either coffee jelly or crystal boba as my favorite toppings! read more

I never realized that there was a Ding Tea near Disneyland until I attended a K-POP cupsleeve event. It looked like it would be a nice place to study or just to chill with friends. Since I went to a cupsleeve event, you could see the place decorated to a K-POP group/celebrity and they are often cute. This was was well spaced out and it was just a vibe. I actually went to 3 boba stores that day, but only bought items from Ding Tea. I didn't want to gamble if the other boba shops were good and bad and went for something that I knew was guaranteed to make me happy. This place actually has more snacks than some of the other locations I've been too. Drinks are the usual but consistent over different locations, which is good. I was glad that I decided to order here because their snacks, specifically their French fries was so so delicious. The parking and location was a bit odd. Originally, the flyer said "Ding Tea near Disneyland" and I was confused with how the event host knew which location it was, since sometimes there multiple locations of the same store in the same city. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I ordered through Grubhub and went to pick up the tea. The lady took the order from her iPad then told me to order with her, meaning I'd be charged twice - saying Grubhub would refund me, but the order was already taken by their system. To make it worse they had a group of teenagers there harassing clients. I felt scammed and she totally did not want Grubhub to take the money - she purposely wanted me to cancel and order there. Very disappointed in this location. This one is not at all like the other Ding Tea locations. Waited about 30 mins for 2 teas, there was only one family with 3 drinks ahead of us. Once we got our order, our teas were slightly warmer than room temperature, and practically had no ice. My tea had a little more ice than my boyfriend's but melted by the time we left the parking lot. My boyfriend went back to have the guy add more ice, my goodness, it melted AGAIN. There's plenty of Boba/Tea locations around the area and we felt like it was such a waste of money. read more

The cafe is refined and playful with their grassy and floral wall decorations, inspiring words, and elegant pink sofa. I've been to going to this boba place for WINTER MELON GREEN TEA coz I like the way they make it. I know for sure what is winter melon Green Tea looks like. Mid at best, sadly. They are consistently getting my order wrong (like wintermelon green tea vs. wintermelon green milk tea) and I feel like the recipes aren't as consistent across the different Ding Tea franchises because the tea here is a bit tasteless and not super cold which is disappointing when I take a sip. The food items are good but can take a long time. The workers are hit or mess, sometimes very distracted (again the wrong orders) and super slow which is bad when I'm stopping by during a lunch break. We came in when it was less crowded. It has a small but cozy interior. There were many backdrops to take cute pictures. The staff were friendly and made our drinks pretty quick. It got busy around 6ish. My peach juice drink with boba was sweet and yummy. I asked for less ice but the ice amount seemed to be the same with my 3 of my friends who got regular ice. I was in the area and, according to the ol' Yelp app, saw this location of Ding Tea was nearby. A milk tea with boba was calling my name. The parking lot in this strip mall can be a bit busy but I lucked out and found a spot right away. No matter what Ding Tea location I visit I always order the same thing - a Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea with Boba. The friendly fellows behind the counter took my order and had it ready in about three minutes. Drink in hand, I got in my car and drove off. A few blocks away I sipped and immediately took a look at the label on the cup to make certain a huge error hadn't been made. The sticker had the correct drink printed on it. Hmmmmm... At other locations this is a sweet drink but this one had a bitter taste. Not sure what the deal is; maybe they don't make it sweet at this location? I drank about half of it mostly to enjoy squishing the warm boba between my teeth. But won't be back to this particular location. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been coming to this Ding Tea for years and I have never felt so uncomfortable. The staff member, male, working on 11/1 around 8pm at night did not greet us when we walked in. While he was making another customers drinks he was slamming them on the counter as he finished. Once it was my turn to order I asked for a ginger hot tea, which is on their menu, he looked at me and told me they didnt have a drink like that. I politely told him it was on the menu and he proceeded to say "I dont know why its on the menu". I tried ordering another drink and was told they didnt have the ingredients either. He was very unwelcoming and unprepared. It seemed like he was upset we came in an hour before close. Overall, this location doesn't have staff members that are welcoming and they dont have any materials to make their drinks. I really should of asked for a refund. read more

Utterly a HUGE disappointment. Please note this reviews goes to the monster boba latte, honey green milk tea, and taro milk tea with crystal boba and no ice.... That's the really disappointing part, if you ordera drink with no ice (or especiallg with brown sugar and milk tea), there's no way it should be bland or watered down. In addition, the service is always slow. This is probably my third or fourth time here and I'm extremely disappointed in the consistency in the drinks. To give you an idea, everytime I come, I order about 4+ drinks because I'm visiting family. 3 of the 4 times I got the monster boba latte and every time the taste was not remotely the same for me or my girlfriend. And to top it off, it was really watered down to where you can barely taste the milk tea or brown sugar for that matter. We keep coming back in hope it would taste like other locations, but it actually gets worse. I have similar mediocre drinks with the same issue at other ding teas, but this place takes the cake because of how often it's happened. I'm unsure as to how hard it can be to make milk tea, especially if you have a recipe that every location should have a copy of.. (Or you can literally find one online.) Updating my review and dropping 3 stars from my previous. Long story short, I called their phone to order my drinks ahead of time. The lady on the line told me that there were a lot of people and that they are "sorry" for not being able to assist at the moment. They told me to come in and they'd be able to place in the order for the drink. Okay, that is totally fine with me. But when I literally arrived 3 minutes after the call and there was only 1 person there waiting for the drink... Huh? If by definition busy means 1 person, then sure. But in my definition, I think that's not so busy at all. It also doesn't help that, when I went in to order my drink, they took 30 minutes to make it. Not to mention, they messed up my order once and they had 4 people working as well. What were they doing exactly? Then again, I can't blame them because it seems that there were some new workers there. Anyway, maybe I'm being a bit too harsh, but 30 minutes is pretty astounding to make the drink. **UPDATE: Food/Snacks are coming soon, so DEFINITELY make this Ding Tea location the one you go to when you're in Anaheim!** Quite possibly the cutest tea shop chain I've ever seen! Located in a random strip mall in the middle of Anaheim (NOT the location near Disneyland), blink and you'll miss it! Fellow foodies- when you spy the Zankou Chicken or Sarki's sign, you know you're in the right place! Its a pretty small space that's packed with unexpected cuteness! We stopped in on a Sunday around 6pm~ no wait and no patrons. This gave my girls tons of time to take selfies in front of the cute walls in the shop. The flower wall is the prettiest I've ever seen! The opposite pink wall is pink with palm leaves & has another cute punny neon sign. But turn the corner and there's yet another cute corner nook that you'll want to get a picture in! Customer service was great and our drinks were delicious. My kids and I are partial to Ding Tea and are always trying new things on the menu. This time we got a mocha boba latte, signature milk tea with boba, & strawberry yakult. Everything was really, really good! Never too sweet and the boba is always cooked just right! Since it's a pretty small space I could see it getting really busy/having to wait when there's a lot of people here. But it's super clean, bright, & there are card games and a video/arcade looking thing that seems to welcome people to relax and hang out. Having been to both this locations in Anaheim, I would definitely choose this DT over the one by Disney! The only minuses are that: 1) This one doesn't offer food options (popcorn chicken, fried tofu, etc) & 2) It is a lot smaller in space/size. But it's atmosphere and customer service are enough to put this spot on top and will definitely be our new go-to boba spot in Anaheim! read more

Lactose intolerant boba lovers rejoice! Every milk tea is made with non dairy creamer:)) it can get grainy at times, but having so many non dairy options is so inclusive! Got the passion fruit milk tea with 50% sweetness and it tasted A LOT sweeter than I was expecting, but nothing too overwhelming. The boba had a nice chewy texture and was cooked well and didn't have an overpowering flavor. At $4.50 for a small, it was a bit steep for price, but the non dairy options make it worth.
