I don't know what stance it has in this world for other people, but I can say I am pretty obsessed with the flavor.. I know there are R&B Teas in many other cities, but the home for my heart is here at the Garden Grove location. I have been too bashful to enjoy the drink at the location and I always take it to go. I opted for the brown rice milk tea solely cause I had never had one before. There weren't enough seats to go around, so most of us stood near the door. My drink was ready around 6 minutes, pretty quick considering the sudden surge of customers. Stopped by R&B Tea after a pretty late dinner to grab tea. The tea shop has seats on the side, a cashier, and a digital ordering pad. We tried the digital ordering pad 3 times before it worked (trial and error), but at least the drinks came out fast. I got the half sweet cream cap oolong and it was so good! It was just the right amount of sweetness and oolong tea. If I'm in the area, I'd for sure go back for it. My friend got the jasmine milk tea, and while good, it wasn't standout. I came here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. The boba spot is hidden in a large complex with other businesses. They have plenty of parking outside, and the boba spot faces the street. I was greeted right away as soon as I walked in and looked at the menu. They have a lot of different options, from tea to slushy to this drink called a stormy. I ordered a dragonfruit green mango green tea, a lychee green tea, and a mango stormy, all with boba. It all came out in about 5 minutes. The mango stormy was very tasty. It was like a milky smoothie with mango swirled in it. It wasn't too sweet but it was very delicious. The boba was also really chewy, which was a little different than what I was used to. The salty and umami-ness balances the the gentle sweetness of tea and leaves you craving more. Specifically, I love to par it with the jasmine green tea. It's always perfectly not-too-sweet with a pleasant jasmine flavor. Try to tip your cup to 45 degrees within the first 5 seconds of it touching your lip to get a good ratio of the cheese and tea at the same time. It had a strong jasmine tea taste to it and the cheese foam balanced it out making it partially sweet and savory. You have two options to order here. One is through the kiosk or up at the register. The kiosk broke down on me as I was trying to check out but after a few minutes it started working again. There's a handful of seats inside the shop so it's a good place to hangout and chat with a friend.
