Good to know: In a strip mall Takes cash, card, and Apple Pay (tap to pay) Kind of underwhelming This is the first time I've been disappointed in boba. I've had great boba tea, and I've had pretty good boba tea, but this is the first time I've had "not really good" boba tea. Maybe my expectations were too high? Maybe it's because they haven't been open very long? Maybe it was someone's first day? Im trying to be as fair as possible here, but with my first drink, I knew it wasn't true love and there probably wouldn't be a second date. There are a couple of places near by to get milk tea with boba, but not another dedicated milk tea joint. The other options are a European cafe and a Vietnamese restaurant, so I was excited to see a new milk tea place open calling itself a "Taiwanese Tea House". The menu board raised my hopes even further as I noted lots of authentic toppings including my favorites (besides boba) like grass jelly. The service wasn't bad, it just didn't stand out. We weren't greeted when we walked in, but who am I? The queen? Minimal conversation at the counter, but I'm not mad about it. I love to make a new friend, but I don't demand that someone kiss my rear just because I walked into their work. Service gets 3 stars. Honestly, now that I'm trying to pick apart the details, I think the 3 star service actually raised the overall score of this place. I ordered a Thai iced tea with Boba and it was made with some kind of powder that didn't fully dissolve in the liquid. So I had grainy bits of something in my drink. The boba was chewy, but absolutely flavorless. There was no sweetness to it at all it was just a chewy blob. Very strange. I've never tasted boba like that before. Product gets 2.5 stars. I'm confused because I've been to another Ding Tea location in Vancouver and had a pretty good Boba milk tea and I think this place is a franchise and therefore they would taste the same. That is what leads me to believe that maybe it was an off day. With two other options in town, I'd be surprised if I came back.

    Matcha Milk tea 50% sweer

I got a matcha milk tea 50% sweet with boba pearls and it was alright, the matcha tasted pretty mild and I more prefer a strong matcha taste more than a sweet flavor with a mild matcha flavor. This is definitely more sweet than matcha. If you're a matcha person I would recommend getting something different from here because I have had the black milk tea and wintermelon in the past which have been fantastic! I love the atmosphere it's clean and aesthetically pleasing all around! The workers are very friendly and happy to help if you have any questions!

I have been coming here since they opened. Always love the drinks! Happy to have a great boba/milk tea place in BG. My favorites are Thai milk, tea, honey, milk, tea, or honeydew milk, tea with Boba or honey Bob

Had to stop by after my daughter bought me a milk tea here! She got me the classic, with caffeine of course :) she got herself a Monster flavor caffeine free milk tea and she let me try it. It was heaven! The next day I went back and got a large Monster tea with gold boba and it was amazing! Best boba tea I have ever had!

Line was pretty long, but it moved pretty quickly. Everything in the case looked delicious. I went with the cinnamonroll, Nutella cornetto, & the gluten free earl Grey scones. The scone was amazing. Very light, with a good earl great flavor. Youd never know it was gluten free. The cinnamonroll was nice & moist. Cornetto was crispy filled with Nutella inside. Stop in if your in the area. Definitely try the scones.

We got in line and were politely greeted by an employee who gave us the skinny on the layout. We ordered a couple of cinnamon rolls, one gluten free and one espresso. Both were beautifully baked and the frostings were delicious. The espresso roll had the perfect hint of espresso flavor, just enough to dial this roll up a notch. The coffees were ready a couple minutes later. They were decent, pretty mild on flavor. We did stay and eat. I wouldn't recommend this for peaceful conversation. The buzzers they give out to let you know when your coffee is done are annoyingly loud and are constantly going off. We had to switch to to-go cups to escape the pinging. The pitch is awful and my ears hurt walking out. Good service, great rolls, decent coffee
