I came here around 1230 on a Saturday and y was empty. Not until an hour later more people start to come. The food was lukewarm, but I figured out if you scoop from the inside, it was warmer. Maybe because they kept the lid half open, so the exposures section is cold. My favorite is chicken tikka masala. I think I went back and got three plates with naan. Wasn't sure about this place but heard great reviews on it so we gave it a try! It was amazing. Everything was soooo good. Service was a little slow but the food made up for it. This is a wonderful and unsuspecting place. I appreciated how we weren't rushed through the meal, but invited to sit and relax while our food came out slow and steady. We enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and Palak panner ... both were amazing and EXPLOSIVE with flavor. The naan was excellent but they offered this different type of Indian bread that I've never experienced at any other Indian restaurant. It was naan stuffed with coconut, cashews, raisins, and spices. Food is very good. Huge quantity for goat kadhai and tarka daal. There naan bread is not puffy it is very this but tasty. Kind of paratha bread. Service is not bad ive asked for little piece of lemon but was refused. But overall experience was great. read more

This place is good, authentic, and full of a menu with very reasonable prices. This is an obviously family run restaurant, which adds to the overall experience and quality of food. The chicken vindaloo was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of spice. The naan was fresh and warm. My drink never got near empty. The interior ambiance still needs some improvement, but you're there to eat, not to look at wall art from a previous restaurant. If you're craving some Indian food, do yourself a favor and try out this hidden gem. They even have vegetarian dishes for those so inclined. read more

Visiting from out of town and so glad I found this place! Came for the lunch buffet and it was outstanding. Good selection of vegetarian options on the buffet. Everything I tried was delicious. The navratan korma was amazing! Also had aloo bean (potatoes and green beans) and dal makhani. Service was very friendly and conscientious. Will definitely be going back here. Yep. This place is amazing, great Indian food. My favorite aspect of this restaurant is the buffet. On Sunday's till 3 it is only 9 bucks and they usually have a wide selection. The food is legit. The lamb dishes are some of the best I have ever tried. The buffet is OK but I wish they would have a couple different protein items such as a lamb dish. I would pay a few dollars more. 2 reasons why I don't give it five. One is location. It was a chore finding this place. After a while I realized that the only way to get to it was by taking the 29 ramp off of 9 mile and turning off the ramp. How many missed opportunities to build a loyal base have simply driven by? The location definitely sucks and has a seedy bodega look to it. Real dumpy. Second is the decor. This place was a Japanese Steakhouse and it still looks like one. It is this huge, cavernous space with wall murals just peeling off the walls. The place definitely has potential but right now it looks like a complete dump. Their old location used to be a Sonny's BBQ but at least it was more cozy. This is a bloody mess. The irony is that this market lacks good ethnic cuisine. A good Indian restaurant can make a killing. Pace is growing by leaps and bounds with a growing professional base with sophisticated pallettes. You go from a bad location to a worst one. read more

Truly great Indian food! Everything tasted like It was made with care and love. It really felt homemade. We had the pakora the veg samosas as appetizers. The pakora was incredible especially when paired with their green sauce (don't know what the name is). I had the chicken tikka masala with a side of bullet naan. I asked for medium spice and they brought the heat. I enjoyed it, but mild is the way to go if you're not partial to spicy foods. The bullet naan was surprisingly tame. Hidden gem! This is definitely a hole in the wall. Really good food! My husband and I got the chicken curry and lamb vindaloo which were both excellent! Very flavorful! Well worth the drive from Navarre and not as expensive. Usually prices are much higher for Indian but these were relatively well priced for the dishes it comes with! Had lunch buffet on a Saturday with my Dad and it was just ok. The food was not hot (lukewarm) which is worrisome. The selection was limited - 4 kinds of chicken ( the usual tandoori, tikka masala, vindaloo) and 4 vegetarian dishes (dal, two kinds of potatoes and saag paneer). There was vegetable pakora and naan. The pakora was very greasy. The tandoori chicken was tasty but there was very little of it. One of the naan seemed undercooked. Not really impressed. Finally a place to eat Indian in Pensacola! Since Taste of India's decline after changing location, my husband and I were relieved when this place opened up. I'm always looking for a great place to eat lunch at (buffet) and this place is worth the long drive over. It is hard to find and a pain to get too, but GPS does wonders. Upon entering this establishment , I immediately called my husband. The tile backsplash and leather seats plus the wood Floors makes this one of the best decorated ethnic places to eat at; just ignore the massive paintings that are being worked on. I have ordered food to go and have eaten inside for the buffet. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food is delicious. They have a huge menu and offer a great variety for vegans and vegetarians. Their lentil soup is awesome and inexpensive. Definitely worth trying and since lentils are packed with fiber and protein, it's a healthy starter or side ;) I just hope that this place will get noticed so it can stay open.
