When I walked in and found the expansion finished I was totally impressed! This used to be a little hole in the wall with fantastic food and three little tables with no A/C. Now there's a dining room that is very nicely decorated with central air keeping patrons quite comfortable. We ordered holy basil with pork and hot Thai chicken wings. I was a little nervous, but the food is still over the top fantastic! The Thai tea is really delicious, too! If you find yourself craving Thai food, this is the spot. 8200 West highway 98 W Had lunch here today and both the Panaang curry with tofu and my husband's red curry with extra veggies were excellent! Maybe a little thinner, but really flavorful! We tried this place about 3 years ago and the food was just ok and service was lacking. Today, no problems-food really tasty and service very good. They've also expanded the dining space and it is cheerful and clean. I absolutely recommend this restaurant and will go back soon! read more

I love Thai food but live in Foley where we have no Thai options (and I do not like typical Chinese). I missed Thai food so much but found this gem on a trip to the Base in Pensacola. Thai Curry House has great food for a great price. I order when I'm losing the car at the Commissary and they have my food ready for pickup typically by the time I walk in the door, or very shortly after. Everything I've tried has been wonderful and the staff is friendly. I'm not sure why they don't show up on a restaurant search on Yelp. I actually found them on a Google Maps search and I really wish I had found them sooner. They recently expanded into the other part of the building and have much more seating space than before. Decide to do try this place today and ordered three takeout dishes. Drunken noodle, green curry and Penang curry. All Thai spicy. Positives. The portion was decent and I love that they use Thai egg plants. Flavor was good but Thai spicy was disappointing. Not even close. The restaurant is more for takeout. You can dine in but space is small and only three tables. Parking lot not huge either. They do offer military discount. I would go back to try other dishes. THE REAL DEAL! I lived/worked in N Thailand, love the cuisine, and have high expectations. Thai Curry House is 100% authentic, including the amazing (lack of) ambiance. It's a primitive little cafe, but the food is spectacular. If you know what you want, but it's not on the menu - just ask: the lovely family that operates this wonderful place might make it for you. I particularly like PO TAK, which is a sort of seafood soup/stew - enough for two, at least. Very few restaurants serve it because this fantastic dish is made with things that add flavor but are INEDIBLE, like galangal. Also, if you unwisely specify HOT, the pepper flakes sit at the bottom of the bowl, adding heat every minute the soup sits. Your first ladle will be deliciously spicy, but the last one will make you wish you had remembered this warning: add chili pepper flakes yourself, per individual bowl!! PARKING ALERT. This cafe has just (December 2025) doubled in size to include seating for perhaps 25 people. There's very little parking out front, but plenty in back. read more

Their cashew chicken is really good. My daughter got the pad Thai and wasn't crazy about it. It's kinda expensive, but the portion sizes are huge and I ate my entree for 3 days! They don't offer a kid meal option so I had to buy a full entree for a 4 yo. We had chilled bottled water with no ice. It was over $70 for 2 adults and a 4 yo to eat! My go-to Thai spot! Everything seems so freshly made and mouth watering delicious each time I go. Didn't get the crab rangoons this time but they are pretty amazing. First time having fried tofu and it may be an side dish ordered each time. I like that the lettuce is on the side because normally Thai restaurants will serve it all together and the lettuce will get soggy. I usually order to go or online. I've been to pick up one time but I'm not sure if there's actual dining in at the restaurant. I recommend this place to everyone! read more

Let me just start off by saying- I hope you like spicy food. I've had the chicken panang and chicken masaman curry and they are both delicious! Definitely just stick to the curries here. I've tried chicken pad Thai, beef pad see ew, and beef drunken noodles over various trips. They were all incredibly way TOO spicy even asking for mild. Our order of mild pad Thai tonight was covered completely with red pepper flakes- my husband who likes spicy couldn't get past a bite. The crab Rangoon appetizer is the best I've ever had. We had a horrible experience here. It was hot and dirty in there but we said what the hell let's try it. Sometimes the best food comes from little hole in the wall places...but we didn't get past the first bite of the appetizers we ordered when a cockroach ran across the table and under my plate. I quietly pulled the owner aside and told him in private. Then I asked for the check and told him we didn't want to continue our meal. I said I'll pay for the appetizers but we don't want the entrees. He said "but they're already cooking them". I said we weren't staying. He made us wait about ten minutes while he figured out the check and he still charged us for the appetizers even though we didn't eat them because the cockroach ran out from under the plate. I rarely give reviews but in this case I was very disappointed. Had he comped the appetizers and let us leave immediately I wouldn't have written this review. read more
