We had a noon appointment but I showed up late because I thought the appointment was for 12:30 but they were super accommodating and very understanding. The waiting room is super cool with a hot tea coffee section, mini fridge of water, arcade games, a flat screen tv that was playing frozen 2, a shelf full of kids books as well as lots of seating and a kids table for the little ones to read. Lots of polar bears and penguins all throughout the office decorations (and some moose!). The theme of the office I think were walrus, penguin polar bear and moose? Very cute. They even had beanie baby type toys with magnetic hands hanging from above the dental chair area. Melissa the dental hygienist(?) was great with my daughter (she let her pick out her toothpaste flavor and we went with birthday cake) and Dr Dave was great as well. They both took the time to explain everything and were just super pleasant. They asked lots of questions and were very thorough and chill. I was amazed at how well behaved my kid was. She loved her experience and wanted to go back after we left the office. It is so cute how they provide sunglasses instead of the usual eye protection at the dentist. And the tv screen on the ceiling didn't hurt either! We left with a goody bag and they even let my daughter pick out 2 toys because she did so well. They have multiple hanging baskets on the back wall of different types of toys for all ages. It was a fantastic introduction for us on our quest for our new pediatric dentist!

I had a major surgery coming up and I needed to have my dental issues clear before the surgery. A male Spanish speaking dentist worked on them, at the very same moment he installed the first bridge I told him that it didn't feel right, the owner of the place came and worked on it for a few minutes assuring me that after a few days it would feel fine, that I needed to get used to it. on the second bridge he installed a provisory one. I called a few days later and send many emails saying that the bridge he installed didn't feel right, that food was getting stuck and shape was not matching the rest of my molar structure, the color was way off compared to the rest of the teeth and I had a sensation when chewing. They ignore my messages for a long time. When they finally responded, they did so with the assumption that I was going there to pay for the one that I had the temporary tooth worked on. I told them that I needed the one that was given me issues fixed. They said in an email that I needed to pay for the temporary bridge over $5000 in order for them to fix what they did wrong. In January a few months after my surgery, I responded saying that I only wanted them to fix what they did wrong with my bridge, basically I wouldn't allow them to work on my mouth on the other bridge. They were only thinking on the money without any regard for my health, they were upset because I complained that the bridge they installed was a mess. And kept saying that it was me that I didn't like it. I told them that is not about like or not liking it, I complained because they did a terrible job with it, and to this date is causing lots of issues and discomfort. Then they send me a message saying that they didn't want me in their office again and saying that they will not send me to collection for a balance due on my account (I don't owe them anything, I paid a lot of money for the bridge they messed up). unless they also charge to answer emails. I am very upset and disappointed with Stapleton Dentistry of Cary. They treated me very badly, unprofessionally and without any compassion even though I explained to them that I was going to have a major surgery. to this date I am still struggling and suffering with the messed they did on my mouth, trying to save up to go see a professional dentist. At the end of the visit, I was told my child didn't need any fillings or extractions. I was still charged $539 for a first visit that included multiple X-rays, an exam, a cleaning, and fluoride. I was shocked by the cost and did not feel that the necessity of all these services or the total price was explained clearly beforehand. If you are paying out of pocket, ask for a written estimate before any treatment and ask exactly which procedures are truly necessary. I will not be returning.
