Such a great group. Dr. Daily did an implant for me this week and I can't recommend more highly!!…read more 5 star experience to him and his amazing assistant Caitlin. I have general anxiety and they were both so lovely and truly care about their patient. And minimal pain yesterday and none today. And I'm beyond grateful they offer such reasonable pricing. My last implant was with a dentist in Durham and cost $4700. Dr Daily offers the same service for $2k. Highly professional and gorgeous brand new office. You can NOT go wrong!!!

BEWARE before you begin treatment with this clinic! After spending nearly 2,000.00 plus travel…read moreexpenses with Williams, Daily & Frazier, I was abandoned mid-treatment with no care plan in place whatsoever. I was told by Dr Frazier that I was in urgent need of a bone graft due to a previous injury to my front tooth which was capped and failing. It was explained to me that my bone was receding and that my extraction and bone/gum graft needed to be done "sooner than later". Over the course of 5 weeks, I twice travelled 3 hours each way incurring travel and hotel expenses and spent nearly 2,000 dollars on temporary inserts and scans deemed necessary by the clinic. On the day of the procedure, I was somewhat nervous (as anyone would be) and it took me some time after receiving Valium and Nitrous Oxide to get comfortable. After 50 minutes, I was told by Dr. Frazier that I was not ready for the procedure. Although I was nervous, I expressed plainly that I was comfortable moving forward. I was then told by Dr. Frazier that I was not "comfortable enough". I am a medical professional myself and any experienced physician or nurse understands the basic principle that comfort level and pain are subjective. Pain and comfort are to be stated and gauged by the patient, NOT the physician. Dr. Frazier then stated that he was not comfortable going forward with the procedure, with no further information given. I then left with no explanation, no subsequent appointment, no RX for antibiotics / infection control (with a current infection in the root and maxilla above my tooth), and no instruction or recommendation for pain control. Dr. Frazier did, however, give me several injections of Novocain, which caused incredible pain after wearing off that I was unable to control for several hours with OTC medication. Unbelievably, I was then allowed to leave the office ALONE after being given 10 mg of Valium and Nitrous Oxide for over 1 hour. This clinic is lucky that I did not have an accident or injury while awaiting my partner in the parking lot / road for ten minutes while sedated. Since last week, I have experienced significant pain, and my infection has continued to cause extreme discomfort. I finally called the office this week after no follow-up and was handed off to an office manager named Tess who again provided no detail or explanation, simply offering to refer me to another clinic (which I can clearly do myself). I must now begin this process from square one with another provider. It is shocking and frankly disturbing that a medical professional and licensed dental clinic would conduct business in this unethical manner. There is clearly a lack of experience, knowledge, and ethics within this practice. I have reported them to the ADA out of serious concern. Patient abandonment is considered a serious violation per the ADA code of nonmaleficence: 2.F. Patient Abandonment. Once a dentist has undertaken a course of treatment, the dentist should not discontinue that treatment without giving the patient adequate notice and the opportunity to obtain the services of another dentist. Care should be taken that the patient's oral health is not jeopardized in the process. I have reported this clinic to the ADA and will be filing a suit against them. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for treatment.

The annoying part was the wait!! We were there at 8:30 am and I was assured my daughter's procedure would start a little before 9 am. She was not called into the back until 10 am and we waited another hour for the procedure to start. Unreal. We literally were there for over 3 hours for a 40 minute procedure! To be fair, this could have been a one off. However, I am not sure because another lady waiting said her wait was unusually long the two times she visited as well.

They were able to address the issue but not before I paid them the full balance in full before they would even lift a finger to address the severe pain I was experiencing....or at least that is what they told me. Apparently there was a small balance that showed up a month or two later. I questioned it and told them to have someone call me to discuss it. No one ever did so I assumed everything was settled. Only to be rudely surprised by a call from a collection agent today. They never bothered to call me one time to help clear up the bill. They just sent it to a collection agency. These people are only concerned about making money and they truly don't seem to have any concern for the patients at all. Worst experience of my life. Save yourself the disappointment, frustration and irritation.

I've never had so much trouble getting a doctor's office to submit basic information to insurance…read more I paid upfront for Invisalign treatment in early February, after being promised that they would submit the claim to my insurance. However, they did not even submit the claim to insurance for nearly 2 full months, despite multiple requests to do so. Once they finally submitted the claim (in April), my insurance asked several basic follow-up questions about the treatment so they could process the claim. It has now been another two months and Crabtree Valley Dental has still not provided that info, despite multiple letters from insurance. Over the phone, they keep assuring me they will take care of it but weeks go by with no action. It seems pretty clear now that because they received my money, they they have little interest is helping with my insurance claim. I previously had good experiences with CVD, but I do not recommend that anyone pay for any treatments up front with them. Make them submit to insurance first, because otherwise you may never see that money again.

Prior to my appointment, I was sent a form to fill out that asked me questions about my health such as if I have been around people with Covid, if I was sick, if I had traveled, etc. Once I got to the dentist my temperature was taken by the check-in employee. I waited in the waiting area until I was called for my appointment. The waiting area is clean, modern and nicely decorated with beautiful decor and there is a TV. There's also a television on the ceiling in the rooms that you can watch while you are getting your teeth cleaned. I was taken back about 15 minutes after my appointment time. When the hygienist took me to the back, I had to fill out another form that stated that I did not have a fever and that I was not sick currently. During my visit the hygienist kept her mask on and kept gloves on when she was in contact with me. The hygienist is always friendly and professional during my visits. The pain started that evening went v. quickly to extreme pain and extreme swelling /numbness/redness/heat/throbbing etc. My face looked as if it had a golf ball in my mouth, by day 7. I called every day for the next week for him to look at it, yet never had an appt. I had been told to call immediately if I should have any swelling or pain( have never had any with other root canals-this was extreme). I filed a complaint with the NC Dental Board. After many months of deliberation they came to the conclusion that he had done nothing wrong! I had lost 2 teeth directly from the neglect and massive infection, and now needed implants. Refusing care to a patient with all the signs of a massive infection and doing NOTHING is OK with the NCDB??? Had recently moved from IN, and when I came still had all my own teeth. I was then told on leaving to pay the full amount v. the 2 x installments that Meredith and I had agreed upon. He now had a signed bill for a full root canal, which he had not done. When I tried to get my money back from my credit card company, he refused b/c on day 7 I went elsewhere (and was immediately referred to an oral surgeon for extraction) . My payment was refunded , but after learning of this, Dr.Dalzell then told them he had done a full root canal, they returned the money to him. 1 of many lies to come. He then told the NC DB I had been given 3 appts, and refused them all-as if I would have done that after calling every day to get an appt!!!! His website claims to have daily emergency time-not so! My teeth have been wrecked, and I have 20K in bills, ongoing. The lies Dr.Dalzell has told are outrageous yet the dental board still side with the dentist, and i their wisdom decided that losing 2 teeth ( the next one to it also needed extracting, as the infection spread) was a case of 'he said: she said'!!!! The CEO of the NCDB then investigated and sent a letter to me saying that what happened was actually nothing I had ever mentioned in my original complaint !!!!!! Regardless of what caused the massive infection, it needed treating that next day and then I might have only needed the root canal on an abscessed tooth that I went to him for in the first place!!!!! The fact that the board will NOT address is that WHATEVER caused the pain starting the evening of that first visit needed treating ASAP to avoid a potentially fatal infection!!!!!! I have NEVER in 6 plus decades on this planet come across ANY healthcare professional who refuses to treat a patient , KNOWING daily of an EVER WORSENING situation and gets away with it because the dental board are failing in their mission to protect the people of NC from impaired dental professionals! I am beyond disgusted and if anyone local knows of a good dental malpractice lawyer or expert witness who will stand against a colleague who is guilty of malpractice, please reply. Here. Thank-you!

Called in the morning and was told b/c of a med. I was taking, he couldn't prescribe painkillers. The only option was to actually finish the root canal for which I had been charged, but he had no time! The pain /swelling/throbbing got worse and worse and the pain was intense,( 8-9/10) yet..... despite daily updates and photos of the swelling, still he would NOT finish the procedure. The roots had not even been cleaned out or the abscess drained. After 6 days of this intense pain and little sleep, and feeling ill. ( antibiotics which I had to beg him again to prescribe 48hrs after the appt., did no good-infection already too bad), I went elsewhere, and ended up losing the tooth as the infection had eaten thru' the tooth. I had to have it surgically removed under gen. anesthesia, and now need an implant. Refused to return the $1515 I paid for the simple root canal that was going to save my tooth, even tho' he had done nothing but open up the canals( which were already infected, as he told me!) to cause a massive infection for which he claimed prescribing antibiotics would be 'unethical' !!!! As of now, I have $14,000 in billd to sort this mess out which could totally have been avoided had Dr.Dalzell finished the procedure before it became badly infected. Initially Meredith( owner/wife) told me I could payin 2 installments, but when I left, I was told to pay the full amount. It was coded and listed on my receipt that he had done the root canal and all procedures associated with it, including post-op x-rays( all part of the code he entered, but..... he hadn't ! ) I have had several prior root canals and even wisdom teeth extracted with NO swelling, and taking 1/2-1 hr at the very most. I only moved to NC in the summer, so just used a referral I was given from a local dentist. I have never encountered ANY such uncaring and negligent behavior. Dr.Dalzell's website is very misleading. 1) he refers to 'our practice'. He is the only dentist. 2) He claims he always sets aside time for emergencies, yet in 11 days I was NEVER offered a time in which he could clean out the canals/disinfect them/refill them and put a temporary crown on, DESPITE the fact that he knew of the pain and swelling( he was e-mailed photos)/knew of the fact that I was immune compromised, and the fact that I had every know symptom of an extreme serious infection-i.e. Huge amount of swelling/numbness around lip chin/cheek/throbbing/ redness/ heat and severe pain, yet..... he did. NOTHING! He had daily updates from me of the ever worsening situation and pain. He cared nothing for the severe infection, or my health ( have now required 4 rounds of ever increasing strength ), and couldn't even be bothered to call himself to see what was going on. Day 4 into this Meredith said I could come in and let him take a look at it.....BUT..... he had no time to treat it!!!! As I felt ill and lived 40 mins away she agreed I could send photos and I did. Still no action! I would not recommend that anyone go near this place. Dr.Dalzell is not board certified in Endodontics, as others in town are, and they have completed years of post DDS education on micro-endodontics. He claims he has 'a certificate' in endodontics. Where from I do not know.
