Go did a good job, first time going but is a little expensive, 35$ hair cut, no shampoo, no blow dry.

I recently moved to the area and chose Dino's Barber & Stylist due to the positive reviews online. I can only conclude that they write their own reviews, because this was by far the worst haircut I have ever received. I'm still shocked that I was allowed to leave their "Barbershop" after this hack job. I won't make this review too long but seeing as pictures are worth a thousand words I have attached two photos of the haircut. If you can't see the difference around the ears then you need to see an ophthalmologist! read more

Updated my review to reflect that the price range is what I consider to be "moderate" - $17 for a men's cut is not "inexpensive." They do not use razors here; if you want a skin tight haircut, they have an electric shaver that they can use to get as close as possible. Another note - bring cash if you want to tip; they don't accept tips on the credit card. Everyone here does a fine job; they are unfailingly friendly and professional. 24 years coming here and we have come to an end. For the price you can get a ton better in service elsewhere and for cheaper. Owner just got too greedy. Prices rose quickly but service has taken a sharp decline. Sorry folks, all good things come to an end. read more

Lily is very good and very nice. She cuts my kids hair and is very patient with them. I will go nowhere else but here.

Gentlemen if you want a old school haircut in Germantown I strongly suggest you go see my man Randy at Dinos barber shop in fox chapel shopping center. Buzz Buzz Clip Clip Buzz Buzz slap you on the back of your neck shave lotion done in under 10. I don't need any of that boujee shampoo message crap just a real mans haircut. I'm telling you this man has ninja like skills and I won't have to suggest to tip this man well for a 16.00 hair cut that looks great. read more

I have been coming here for 26 years to get my haircut and colored and I don't even live in the immediate area for the last 8 years. Julie is the absolute best. I have been getting my hair cut here for over 20 years. Originally by Duc but I have been getting it cut by Liz for probably the last 12-15 years. Liz is the sweetest person you could meet. She always knows exactly what I need done and always makes me look good! She keeps track of me if she hasn't seen me in a while because she knows my regular schedule well! She always makes sure to ask me about my entire family everytime I come in which makes me feel great everytime. She loves her customers and will do a lot for them such as stay late every once in a while if needed. I believe the previous person who wrote a review about her is reflecting their own guilt for turning to Randy. I have had my hair cut by almost everyone in there because Liz does go on vacation and she is fine with it. I have also had it cut by someone else while she is there because Liz has one of the higher customer bases there and she gets busy. She has never had a problem with it. Liz is fantastic. I also recommend Julie(primary owner) and Nicole(works weekends)! Randy does a good job as well. Everyone at Dinos is great. I am not to sure about the new people because they are a little more quiet but I'm sure they are good or Julie and Liz probably wouldn't have them working there! I will not leave Dino's until Liz retires and after that I told her I would come by her house!! read more

These are the only barbers I have ever trusted, or felt comfortable with cutting my hair for 25 of the 31 years I have been alive. Excellent service, reasonable prices, no bogus up-selling, no gimmicks or people who just got out of beauty school and paid for a license yesterday. Stop reading right now, get in your car, drive here, ask for Liz or Julie, and prepare to look fantastic. (Bring cash if you intend to tip. Today was my first time going to the barber shop. I got Randy. He did an amazing job. At first had me nervous with his barbering style. He used clippers and it very wild with his cutting style. Do not let this fool you. This guy is a master barber. I am not from here but I will be returning again many times. Hard to find such a master barber at a price so low- only 16 dollars! read more

Not much to say. It's a barber shop. But the people here have been here a while for the most part, they are friendly, reliable, consistent and talented. I've been coming here for over 10 years, and drive past other hair places to go to this one. Some visits are better than others but all in all, it's a winner. read more

Went in there for the first time & didn't have to wait long but I did not like the way one of them cut my hair. It was awful . They don't take their time and the way he did my shape-up was terrible. Did not give me the fresh clean look I was looking for. Not going back there again. read more

I have been going to Lily for over 20 years. She and everyone else at Dino's have been a fixture in Germantown-fox chapel for at least 30 years. They have always been reliable. They always will try to accommodate your schedule within their working hours, of course. They have been there forever, which says a lot in this day and age. If I were to tell someone where to go to get a haircut, go to Dino's. It's a great place to go as I have been going to them for a really long time. read more

Peggy has done my hair since I was 6 years old (and I'm 26 now)- she's an AMAZING colorist! My job now has me living in California and boy do I wish I could move her here with me. The staff here is friendly and the salon is always clean. If you have any doubts as to whether or not this salon can handle women's hair esp those of you girls who have long hair- they can! I have blonde hair down to my elbows, she has always highlighted it and cut it exactly how I have wanted it. I would recommend Peggy to anyone, she knows her stuff...and she's super fun to talk to! I have to say i wish i had known about Dino's years ago. The place gets busy but is worth the wait. Professional, friendly, and always a good cut. I saw them as i was pulling into the shopping center to go to the gym a year ago and decided to try them out. Its close to my house and my regular barber had closed. From my first visit to my latest one it has been absolutely what i want in terms of cut and atmosphere. I highly suggest going here than any other barber. read more

Only reason I'm not giving this place one star is cause not all the employees suck. I've come here 3 times. The first time was good I got a woman, don't know her name, but she was older. The second time I got the only guy that works there, Randy. I asked him for a medium fade, short on the top. He started out at what would be considered medium, but he messed up and I left there with a high fade. It wasn't what I wanted but it didn't look bad. I figured I would go in again and this last time I went in I got randy again and I asked him again for a medium fade. He got to what I guess he thought was done and asked me if I liked it I said no because it was uneven. One side was a medium fade and one side was above what I would consider a high fade. It looked terrible so I made the nice side higher to compensate and cut length off the top to make it even shorter. He got done and the back doesn't look faded and it still looks uneven and the top looks funny. It almost looks like he tried to land me with a Mohawk. It's terrible never going back read more

If you have hair and would like to keep it, DO NOT COME HERE. I came here on a sunday to get my hair cut. I sat down on the fourth chair on the right side next to a male stylist. The stylist who butchered my hair knew very little english and could not follow simple directions. She decided to cut my hair with the buzzer and failed. I am 100% dissatisfied with my hair cut. She kept going back on my head with the buzzer and after a 5th time over until I decided I had enough and cut her off, I yelled.. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? she tried to make an excuse but I wasn't having it, I told her I was done and ready to walk out. I payed, no tip and went home. When i got home i realized the extent of the damage. My hair in the front was twice as long as in the back and not uniformed. I took my beard trimmer and trimmed the nasty bangs she left down to size to match the rest of my head. I DID NOT ASK FOR A BUZZ CUT. I called to get a refund and the lady who picked up was the butcher. She insisted there was no manager on site and that I got what I ordered. I told her It was not what I ordered and that I was not satisfied with the cut, I wanted a refund. She hung up on me. I did some research and found out the owners name liz and called back. I asked for her and a refund once again the butcher hung up on me a second time. I will never come back here. Still waiting on the refund. read more
