The atmosphere is perfect for a little dive bar and diner. There's even a back patio that's great for day drinking, and you can't beat a Coke in a glass. I got a burger with animal style fries for $20, so the price isn't bad at all. The burger itself was just your regular ballpark burger though. I'm more of a smash burger guy myself, so it wasn't quite my style. The animal style fries were really good, but let's be honest, those are hard to mess up. Stopped by Dino's on a recent stop in Nashville. We arrived late to where most restaurants were closed and luckily came across this restaurant. Parking can be found either in front of the restaurant or in the parking lot to the side. When you walk in you'll feel like you've been transported into a dive bar with a gritty, rock-n-roll, dark, Dolly Parton themed, disco ball on the ceiling restaurant playing emo music. I was definitely into the vibe and also saw an article where Anthony Bourdain had stopped there on a previous trip to Nashville. For food and drinks you'll order at the bar. I ordered a local ipa which was excellent along with the Dino's cheeseburger (cheddar, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and pickles) and animal style fries (fries with velveeta, grilled onions and special sauce). The burger was a bit greasy but was good for the time of day with their being limited options. If you are looking for a late night dive bar this is a good contender. read more

Best burger & fries in town! They also have Beyond burgers which was awesome late night food back in my vegetarian days. If you want food fast, I'd recommend somewhere else. Dino's was high on my bucket list when in Nashville since they were closed the last time I tried coming. It was our first stop of the night as we grabbed some counter seats. This spot has a real dive bar vibe with many locals here. For food, we ordered Joe's Hot Chicken ($10) and Cheeseburger ($8) with Bacon ($2) and Egg ($2). We also got a basket of Fries ($5) made Animal Style (+$5). It's an open kitchen, so you get to watch the food being grilled, especially being seated at the counter. The hot chicken came with three pieces, but I found the meat quite dry and needed the sauce a lot. The cheeseburger is solid though, but quite standard. Surprisingly, my favorite thing here was the animal fries, but just a tad too drenched with sauce too. I was just expecting more for the food since they're so popular for their hot chicken and burgers. Of course we also had a couple drinks. I had a Mezcal Margarita ($13) and Four Roses Ginger Beer Mixed Drink ($8), which were decent. The cups are pretty tiny and most filled with ice. For a dive bar, it's not really worth it either. The add-ons and extra are also quite pricey and not really worth it either. read more

We were visiting town and Dino's was recommended to us. Stopped in for lunch. The place is old school and no frills. I had a veggie burger and fries animal style. They don't serve iced tea so I had a sprite. The food was very good. It's a greasy spoon kind of place. You order your food and then they call your name when it's ready. There's a few tables and some counter seating available. The staff were friendly and the food came out pretty quick. I didn't use the bathroom so can't comment on it. I believe there's one step to get into the restaurant so it's not really ADA accessible. read more

Dino's is the very epitome of a dive bar and is definitely a relic in the ever-changing landscape of Nashville, Tennessee. I came here after hearing positive things about their cheeseburgers and decided to see for myself if the hype was true. I definitely dug the ambiance and the bartender was friendly as I ordered my cheeseburger, French fries and drink at the bar. The music is a bit loud, but hey, it's a dive bar. It's also dimly lit with red light bulbs, but again, it's a dive bar. This is the type of bar that you would see in a 1970's movie when a few unsavory types are boozing it up in a bar. They called my name when my cheeseburger and French fries were done. Tearing into my food, this was how a cheeseburger and French fries should be. Like the bar itself, this cheeseburger was a no-frills presentation, but the burger was done well and the French fries had the perfect crispy crunch to it. For a small bar, it filled up quickly with a smattering of different ages, but the overall vibe was fun and pleasant. Was craving a good burger and fries and happy to find Dino's was open late. Got here around 1:45am and this place was poppin'! Small divey bar was full of customers, which was already a great sign. Menu was posted above bar area. Got a burger, animal fries, and tenders. Great music was playing while we waited for our food. Dim lighting sets up the mood. It was about a 45 minute wait for our food, but so worth it! The burger patties were excellent! The animal fries were on point. Reminded me of good ol' In-N-Out! Wish they were well done. Whenever I'm wanting to eat something naughty, I go to Dino's and get their cheese (Velveeta, baby) fries, and their hot chicken. Make sure you get ranch on the side because they serve it with tartar sauce (weird, I know). Their burger is also one of my fave in Nashville- it's a must try. I just want to say the Dinos staff works impeccably hard to feed the masses so please walk in with patience and empathy for the hard working staff. That said it took only 5 minutes to order and nearly 45 minutes to get our food lol. That's ok we were hanging out, drinking, enjoying the patio space when our food was finally called. Being from out of town, I ordered the hot chicken because that's what you do when you're from out of town lol. I asked the woman taking my order how spicy we talkin, and she replied not blow a new hole in your ass hot but still got some heat. Sold! Chicken was moist! Perfectly spicy! Had some interesting and memorable seasoning on it. My only note is that the battered crust was kinda falling off the chicken but whatever still really good. You haven't experienced Nashville if you haven't had late night eats at Dino's. read more
