Something has been happening to Dion's. 10-15 years ago Dion's used to have the best pizza going, bar none. Over the last couple of years the pizza is awful. They must have changed the cheese or something because the pizza has gotten so greasy it's almost inedible. The subs are still great, so that is what we order now. Eat the subs, avoid the pizza. read more

Dions is one of our many choices on occasions where we are busy and need to get something fast as we are a big family of 7 we choose Dions a lot as it is one of our favorite pizzas although if you pick up make sure your there fast because it don't tase the same cold. read more

Love this spot for take out or lunch. Salads and subs are so fresh! I love to get the turkey salad and cheese toast! In my opinion the half salad is plenty especially if you get a slice of pizza or cheese toast! Also I like that Dions offers pizza by the slice. Makes perfect for a light dinner or lunch! read more

Their pizza is trash honestly. It comes out greasy as all hell, especially in the middle. And don't get me wrong im all for a little grease but IM TALKING SO GREASY that that the middle is like a little pool and when you pick up a slice all the ingredients FALL OFF the pizza cause its SO SOGGY. I've eaten cafeteria food better than that. I don't normally return food but i didn't have a choice here. We love Dion's and wish they were everywhere we travel. The service at this location can be hit or miss but when there is a mistake they go above and beyond to fix it. The staff is lovely and the food is fantastic...the sandwiches and the pizza make my mouth water. LOVE the walnut brownies!! read more

The customer service was friendly and efficient. Let's face it this isn't the best food ever but pizza is here is less than $8 for a 12" pie so you kinda have to take that into account. For a quick stop and inexpensive lunch I would suggest coming here. If you're looking for high end pizza don't come here. read more

Today we visited the Dion's in Bernalillo as per usual the pizza, and salad was great!! The only thing was we did have to call the front and go back to the curbside pickup side, due to them failing to give us any plates, and only one napkin for our to go order. We've been here since October '17 and we've eaten at this location many many times. We mostly did takeout. They were pretty good the first few times we ordered from them but after that it was hit and miss. They either gave us someone else's order, food was missing, or it was cold. We did go and eat in the dining room once. It took forever to get waited on at the register. There was 3 different girls that started taking our order until we were so confused. They kept leaving and coming back to us. There's a lot of staff working (it looked like ants) but it was like they were moving around but not getting anywhere. It was very frustrating:( read more

I'm so disappointed in this location. I ordered several sub sandwiches for my kids and a salad for myself. When I got home I realized they didn't give me any salad dressing. Who can eat salad without dressing. I called the manager and he didn't offer much help. He explained that he had new employees. If that was the case, he should've been checking the orders!!!!! Normally love Dion's. Called in an order for a medium pizza and a salad. Told us 25 mins, no problem got there in 30 pizza was ready they told us 10more mins on the salad. The salad was just a half portion, so okay sure 20mins rolls by still no salad.. go and ask what's the hold up see my salad sitting on the corner just waiting for a lid. Guy goes and asks a supervisor what he should do. Supervisor asks if we want a free drink, no I just want my small salad. Guy realizes my salad is the one abandoned puts a lid on it and hands it to me. 30mins after our order time when they told us our meal would be ready. Now our pizza is soggy. I for one love dions but this location has been disappointing me lately. I got a large pep and green chile pizza to go and brought it home. When I opened the box I found the pizza was under done and poorly sliced. I had to recut the pizza in order to take slices out of the box. I ended up refrigerating the pizza and having to rebake it the next day in my own oven. So my girlfriend and I just had homemade sandwiches that night. I just wish the employees had better training or something. I might be ordering from another pizza chain in the future. read more

This location is a family favorite. We always order a pepperoni pizza, turkey salad, turkey sub and chips, and a gallon of sweet tea. Our food is take out and is always on time and taste impeccable. Good job Dion's we enjoy the great food and service. read more

I have visited this venue multiple in recent months and i continually receive poor service while ordering and consistently incorrect orders, in fact they have never got my order correct. Twice i have had to wait for them to remake my order which brought my wait time to over 45 minutes for one sub, both times. Disappointed. Picked up lunch on my way into to work tonight. Ordered a salad with ranch dressing. Drove to Santa Fe with said salad, only to discover I didn't get any dressing with my salad. Ordered a salad and 2 pizza's, waited 30 minutes for salad. When the pizza was ready I was informed that they forgot to make one of the pizza then handed me a burnt pizza. I'm writing this review while I'm waiting. This was a good place to eat but in the last few months they really have gone downhill. I have always been a fan of Dion's (and still am), at this location however my order is either 1. wrong or 2. the lettuce in the salads looks a few days old. I ordered a salad a few weeks ago with romaine lettuce and no tomatoes, lo and behold, there were tomatoes galore (I'm allergic) and there was hardly any lettuce actually there, just massive chunks of the stems. I just ordered a greek salad and have so far had to throw away half of the lettuce in it because it was brown. To make things worse, I also just found PLASTIC in my salad. I myself have worked in the restaurant industry for years, so I understand accidentally putting tomatoes in or what have you, but putting in romaine stems and brown lettuce and plastic? That's just reckless. It is only this location that I have ever had a problem. read more
