Moved to Pensacola a few years ago and had never had an issues living in CA getting a pedicure, I ended up with the most disgusting case of nail fungus going to this filthy establishment. It Took forever to remediate. I now just get my monthly pedicures when I go back monthly to California because apparently a lot of Pensacola nail salons are like this. I've been going to Pink Nails for over a year and a half. It's become the only nail salon I go to. The owner is super bright and welcoming. Someone always greets you instantly. She keeps staff that know what they're about and do a good job creating a great experience. They regularly send 10% off coupons. They have a punch card rewards program where you get can get $10 off, and whenever you sign in to their portal during check-in, you also get points. The other day, I got $10 off without even knowing! You can also make appointments, but in the year and a half that I've been going, I've never booked on. I just walk in, and if it's peak hours (Friday afternoon or weekend) you may have to wait, but usually not. They disclose your wait time and give you an option to wait or come back. Every single nail tech I've had is good. I don't have a regular tech because they are all just as good. My toenail is susceptible to getting ingrown or can curl, and they always take extra care to prevent that. The other pedicures I got were never as thorough or impressive, so I'd just go back to doing my own. But, Pink Nails is my official nail salon of choice! read more

Being new to Pensacola, not sure where to go. Many of the mail shops have different reviews so I decided to try Pink Nails. Walked in, received service right away. You have to enter your name, birthdate and phone number on a little kiosk to earn points towards a discount. I went in only wanting a pedicure and decided for an eyebrow wax as well. The lady doing my pedicure was pleasant and funny even though I couldn't understand everything she was saying. My eyebrow person was a little cold not so pleasant but she did a great job on my eyebrows. All together I paid $50 for a basic pedicure with gel polish and $12 for an eyebrow wax. I can honestly say this is the worst service I have ever had getting a manicure, and pedicure they got one star because it got done, but it is so obvious the nail technician absolutely did not want to be there. She was so angry was so rough, bruised my arm, during the massage , made my cuticle bleed totally bad attitude the entire time I will never ever step foot in this business again! I saw a husband and daughter, actually having to stand on the concrete the last 20 minutes before five because they wouldn't let them sit in the waiting area while the wife/mother was getting their nails done! It's really just an okay salon. Way over priced I was quoted $60- $65 for a full set with gel and that blew my absolute mind. Nothing fancy added on it just a plain solid gel color. I know prices are different in different parts of the country but that's one of the highest quotes I have gotten. So I got a "VIP" pedicure instead but they didn't even clip my toe nails??? just filed a bit. I wish they used more to remove dead skin than just exfoliating scrub. I only got a basic gel manicure and pedicure since it was first time here. Sadly they just seemed rush and as if I was an inconvenience. She was in such a rush I had to remind her she didn't put the top coat on my right hand before she just wanted to kick me out of her chair. She painted over my skin and cuticles. When I asked her to fix it she only fixed my thumb but not any of my other fingers. She also didn't paint the side of my middle fingers, but she put the clear coat so sloppily that it glued my nail to my finger. I refuse to pay for a Deluxe anything if you can't even do a basic gel manicure. The lady that did my mom's pedicure tried file the color off my fingers. Bad experience. I had an appointment at 9:30am for a pedicure and manicure. I didn't get seated until 10:30am which normally I would have just left at that point but needed to get my nails done for a trip the following day. I told the tech I needed to leave by 11:15am so if she only had time for a manicure that I understand and I would come back for the pedicure. She basically blamed me for not giving her enough time, wouldn't acknowledge the fact I had been waiting an hour, and ended up only taking off my previous dip manicure. So I had to leave with an no manicure or pedicure. You would think 9:30am -11:15am, an hour and 45 mins, would be enough time for at least one service? So just be aware their system for appointment taking is NOT organized and even if you have an appointment you might end up waiting a very long time. I received a set of acrylic nails with gel polish and also a pedicure On Thursday, May 2, 2024. The salon was very nice, however, the services I received were very RUSHED and POOR QUALITY. First off, I was not able to relax in the massage chair while getting my pedicure because a lady began doing my manicure-acrylic nails on the ARM of the pedicure/massage chair at the same time I was getting my pedicure. Although not really needing ped or Mani I wanted to freshen the look since it was gel. Lady Thu wanted to charge 5$ to remove gel polish from one toe, i have never been charged anywhere. Secondly cors i really wanted not avail. When she saw i was taking pic of toe nail, she frowned and said not finished, then her demeanor changed to make things right. I still choose a color i didn't really like for toes but she did well. I asked for specific french which had some glitter finger nails and she started with just reg white and was a little argumentive, i told her i picked specific color and she did do. I know she saw how disappointed and frustrated I was, not happy with the finger gel french but it will do. She did knock off 15.00$. it wasn't about that, I should have not been enduring frustration, tension or walked out dissatisfied , but i did. 1* for the girl at counter who was pleasant, 1* for the effort nail tech exercised. Fyi: the gel drying machine gets used for people toes, hands and not once did i see them wipe it or sanitize per each use, not clean their tools per customer use. I went here yesterday and it was very nice inside. It was very pretty and clean and had a good atmosphere. The nails did not match that though. I didn't think they were that bad until i got into my car and looked at them. Half of them are crooked, i got a design and it is not consistent at all on each nail, every nail is a completely different length, some nails are very very square (I asked for coffin), and they're already coming off and i only got them yesterday. I wasn't going to leave a review because I work food service and know how upsetting it can be sometimes to get a bad one but i got these for my birthday which is on Tuesday and I'm not even sure if they will make it till then. I'm only 16 and I don't make a lot so it was upsetting that i can't even enjoy the thing I just spent a lot of money on. I really wanted to like this place but they just didn't hit the mark. TRULY ZERO STARS. Yelp needs to make this an option because this place is absolutely terrible, I asked for coffin nails and after I repeatedly asked for them to be more narrow he still gave me what is pictured below. He told me that the "coffin" shape I wanted was old and that ppl don't get that style anymore. After he was done shaping my nails I was done at the salon because I as the customer shouldn't have to fight with a nail tech to get what I'm asking for. I politely got up and asked him not to do anything else and waited for my husband to finish. Once at the payment counter I explained everything that transpired and the woman at the counter called my nail tech up to the front. The nail tech then began to hell at me because I told him that I wasn't going to pay the 65$ that he charged me based on things that wasn't advertised or told to me. I told him that I'd pay 45$ because that's the price of the dipping powder and nothing more. I was never given a menu he just whisked me away and I'm guessing I was just supposed to know. also I did not have more time to spend in the salon, my husband then had to intervene because he was yelling at me and threatened to call the cops merely because he hadn't told me of the other prices and I was expected to pay even though my nails were a disaster on shape and style and my natural nail isn't even glued down to the tip that he installed on my nails. It's an invitation for fungus waiting to happen and I shouldn't be treated differently or unfair because I am of darker skin tone. The manager is very unprofessional and petty. I said I wasn't coming back and he told me that I can stay home and do my own nails. I'm sure he doesn't speak to his Caucasian clients in this manner. I'm going to be honest the lady who did my nails was great, I could tell she was new and I normally wouldn't complain about stuff like that but in this case I think it effected the entire experience. Everything was fine until she went to trim my cuticles. She repeatedly cut too deep making me bleed on 5 out of 10 nails, and it didn't look like she was working with a clean tool. Fast forward to today about 3 weeks later and I have a newly formed wart on one of the spots where she cut too deep. For anyone that doesn't know, warts are caused by bacteria from a virus in the skin, normally when something that's been exposed to that bacteria opens the skin. Because of that I won't be going back. However I got gel nails and they actually looked really good despite the damage she left. read more

If I could give this new location negative stars I would. I visited the store because of well known nail tech who recently moved to this location. Unfortunately, she wasn't there so entrusted another nail tech to do my nails, prior to sitting in his chair, I showed him what I wanted & he was absolutely sure he could do it, he couldn't.. from there, i was charged with add-on that I didn't get and or was disclosed to me. For example. I asked for medium length almond shaped nails, when I notice he was filing way more than I wanted him to, he absolutely sure this was medium length nails. But he did get the almond shape that was an extra $5 that he didn't disclose. He made me pick from a color wheel that happened to be powder colors that was $50.. again, he didn't disclose.. I am highly disappointed in the service I got and how management handle the situation on top of that the nail tech who said they could do my nails the way I wanted became irate and was bad mouth me with another client while I was still in the store and took zero accountability for the service he provide.
