Delicious pizza. We ordered pizza tonight for takeout. Pizza was topped with pepperoni and mushroom, which is my sister's fav. I like how the pizza was made thin... no need to order thin or pan. It just comes thin. The dough is not cooked to a crisp, but it has a great taste. Not greasy dough, although grease did come from the pepperoni and not from someone greasing up the pizza pan. I kinda like my cheese a little browned on top. Not burnt, but with browned spots from the oven. This did not have that. Overall, still a great place with a delicious pizza pie. I'll post a video if able of this band that performed for over five hours this past Friday evening. This prolific R&B flavored singing artist and band played covers from artists like Sada to Mint Condition. His vocal range is remarkable. My dad frequents DiPiazzas often, so it was top of the list as we were deciding what to order for delivery. Our experience this time was mixed due to delivery hiccups, but we would definitely return. Pros: - The no cheese pizza on the menu had a nice thin crust and lots of hearty veggies. Solid option for vegan & vegetarians! - The chicken pesto pizza was delicious. - Our food was delivered within the estimated window. Cons: - We had one dinner salad that was missing from our order - No salad dressing was included - The chocolate mouse cake had a moldy patch on it.* *We spoke to GrubHub immediately after receiving our items to remedy the issues. The DiPiazza's manager also called us personally to better understand what happened and apologized. They were very nice, and assured that they noted our issue down for when we return next time! I came here on a somewhat busy Friday night for a night of music and to support a friend who was playing in a band. Service at the bar was great, I was able to get my drinks pretty quick and enjoy the night listening to the several bands playing. We got pretty much a lot to eat this night. All things I would recommend. The chicken parm was the best of these things! Fry order is enough to share with an entire group. Wings were better than most of the bar wings from other places too. I regret not getting a pizza! All the pies coming out the kitchen looked amazing! You can even smell it from afar. Definitely try the pizza for yourself if you come here. The place is super friendly. The service is awesome. Great place, but the food was not good. Several of the people with us thought the same. I'm a big fan of bringing leftovers home but on this very rare occasion, we all left our left overs, it was that bad! It's not Don the Beachcombers (closed in 2019, Sunset/Seal Beach), yet it's a chill spot to come & listen to some good Reggae. Seating is limited, so if you don't reserve a table w/seats (via DiPiazza's website for selected music events, price varies), plan on standing around, unless you're in the bar area & can grab a chair. OMG The buffalo wings are so good. The cook knows how to deep fry for sure. The platter was great, it came with buffalo wings, fried artichoke hearts and fried mozzarella sticks. All were breaded nicely and fried perfectly. Their marinara sauce is very good. Get the personal pizza it is only 8$ bucks every day, additional toppings is I think a buck each. Thin crust is the way to go. One of the best pizzas in Long Beach hands down. There is music and bands and other events that play here at night. read more

We sat in the bar area, which had the seats with the metal tops, functional, but not very comfortable. I'm sure the lounge area would have been better. After a day of kayaking we decided we were going to eat ! Being in two different cars they just sent us the directions . We landed here to eat Mexican food and just by chance DI Piazza was right next-door. Yes because I didn't want to eat Mexican food!!! I'm not gonna lie it's a whole scene. It was just pulling us towards it like a magnets. The DJs was playing some of the best reggae and ska music all of feet just kind of started hopping towards it ...like I love this song ! Next thing you know we all decided we didn't want Mexican food and we were going to have pizza. Put my mask on really quick hop inside to take some pictures right as my phone dies . No ! My friend saves the day let me use his phone and I was able to get shots of everything ! We ended up all getting amazing food it was all so good ! It was such a cool vibe too ! Then all of a sudden I realize that the cook is my friend Steve from Downey. . That's right I recall him talking about having a pizza spot right as coronavirus started. He was busy doing stuff so we didn't bug him too much but I'm glad that we were there and that we supported his business ! I like this bar slash restaurant slash concert venue. I'm still not sure how to describe this place but whatever the case, I like it. Not because I got to watch my buddy perform here, but the service was great - the pours (adult beverage) were generous and there's parking; in front and in back. I don't know if all performances have a cover but I arrived early enough to hang with my friend before he and his band went on stage. This gave me a chance to eat. As for the food, it was okay. I wish it came with peppers because there were so little, I joked with my friends that I ordered a sausage and pepper sandwich. Take a look at my pic and see for yourself.
