However, as an existing patient, the next appt they had available was 8 1/2 months out. Stop accepting new patients if you can not handle the ones that you already have. It's a slap in the face. It's also a zoo when you go in there. It's very hectic and I've never seen the same hygienist more than once. They also have an annoying habit of pestering you. For example, I had a 1pm appt. I was parking the car and at 1:01pm I get a call asking if I'm still coming. However, on multiple visits I've waited in the lobby 15 minutes past the appointment time to be taken in. So they are fine with making you wait but 1 minute late on your part and it's an issue.

It's the offices fee schedules that they don't budge on. The staff is great but not taking the State of Nevada's dental insurance being in the State on Nevada is ironic. A dental cleaning and x-ray should be covered by insurance. This is preventative not anything else. It's sad to say bye but this is not right. I paid around $350 for what should be a routine visit.

My most concerning experience involved a blonde dentist lady--whose name I unfortunately forgot--who treated me earlier this year. Finally, I insisted on further investigation, and it turned out I had an infection that she had never mentioned before. To leave a patient unaware of an infection is not just negligent; it's outright dangerous. It's unfathomable to me that a dental professional would allow a patient to leave with an untreated infection. Now, I'm facing additional health issues related to that tooth and have had to seek out another dentist to correct the mistakes made by this office. I believe that professionals who compromise patient health should be held accountable. And I was not disappointed at all. Cindy was my hygienist and had amazing bedside manner so to speak, and we had an awesome conversation as I had my teeth cleaned. Jen at the front desk was, is, and probably always will be an extremely pleasant, warm, and welcoming presence in the office. You will notice I actually got a chance to get to know the staff. And finally Dr. Gelo himself is skillful, super competent, and while I wasn't looking for this, to my relief, is a New Yawker.
