When you walk in the store is divided into sections with the emphasis on their mobile phones. Services like Internet, cable TV and related are the other end of the store. You sign in on a (filthy, even by pre-COVID standards) touch screen that was so dirty I felt like I needed to wash my hands after interacting with it. When you finally got to talk to someone they were friendly enough and tried to help but it was going to be over a 2 hour wait time just to return my Internet device. I ended up going to the UPS store to do this. It's free to drop off there - just be sure you keep your receipt. It took Charter over a week to realize the device was returned and credit the account back. Charter and companies like that get away with the lack of customer service because there isn't a lot of competition. WIth 5G and high speed satellite Internet coming online that is about to change. It will be interesting to see if that finally get's them to fix their customer service issues.

I'm writing this review after visiting the store twice and waiting in store for over an hour again just to return equipment. Now they do offer appointments, but let me tell you that I have watched more than a few of those people check-in and wait a considerable amount of time beyond their appointment time to be seen, and this is another indicator that something needs to be fixed. The process here is broken, and quite apparently inefficient and not designed with customer experience in mind. The entirety of my transaction took 5 minutes and could have easily been processed numerous times during the hours I spent standing around. This was made even more apparent after watching all of the associates repeatedly wander the store, in and out the backroom, and stop to check in on the same customers standing around waiting for updates and data migrations to complete on their devices, all while there's a store full of customers waiting, many of whom are obviously there for the same reason as I. At one point a manager/leader approached me and mentioned I'd been waiting quite a while, so I explained what I needed to do and he made no offer to help expedite the process. The solution is simple. Keep a register open just for equipment returns and make a policy that anyone walking in with equipment be served in between walk-ins and appointments as associates are freed up.

With AT&T and TE, I can get 5 Gb as fast as I want, and they never call me at all. AT&T is vastly superior to Spectrum in almost every way when it comes to speeds. I've told them I don't want their shitty service multiple times, but they won't stop calling me. Spectrum, you are the worst. I hope you die in hell.

The poor kid they sent out by himself with maybe a month on the job was super nice but completely uncomfortable and had no confidence in the job he was attempting to complete. He got here at 1140 am, forgot his laptop. He attempted to put the satellite on the side of the house but didn't come with proper tools (like stud finder) And was like I think I see wood! With 3 inch bolts required to hold this satellite dish up I wasn't willing to take chance of having the equipment placed on side of house with all that weight attached only to siding. So I just asked him to put it on a pole (which cost u 75$ more) then he dug first hole and said he hit water lines and had to move the pole to new location. Before I could get outside to ensure there was no damage to water pipes he had backfilled the hole. Then he said he had to crawl under house and drill hole through the floor to run wire to office where computer is located. he said it would be easier and quicker to just run it to whatever room was close to the pole He said not to worry the modem would work just fine there. Mind you he had already been here for three hours so I agreed let's get this done I have obligations that I need to attend to. I went to see how things were going and he was on phone with his supervisor but asked if I had a crescent wrench, at which time I went into the house and husband was like WT_ is going on. He then went outside talked with this kid who was still on the phone with his supervisor as his supervisor has been talking him through every step. My husband told supervisor to get his a** here instead of throwing this kid to the wolves and that we weren't paying for them to send someone out with no experience to have his supervisor walk him thru installing the system. So it is now 4pm and we wait for a supervisor. I'm not sure I would use this company for any service unless they started a program to assist new installers become competent, well trained and efficient. Hope this internet provider is worth all the inconvenience today brought. At 4:40 we called supervisor that was supposed to be on his way here but had other issues to tend to and has no plans on come to help the installer. Needless to say I will be calling Viasat Corporate office tomorrow.

I made mine for after lunch since everyone is happier after a bite. Lol. This is my Spectrum store of choice although I live closer to the Los Altos/Disc store. The customer service is better here than the other stores I have been to. Dion helped me with my kids phones and I'm looking forward to coming back to upgrade mine when the new Galaxy comes out next month. I hope either he or Elijah help me with that. My most recent visit was with Elijah. I felt bad that there were only two of them, but the line was out the door. While Elijah got me set up with my new Iphone purchase, I was able to help an older gentleman pay his bill on their kiosk behind me, so he didn't have to queue into the line. Thank goodness after about an hour being in there two more people came through the doors to help the other customers. I'm happy with my purchase and the customer service I receive at this store. I'll see you guys in about a month.

The employee was yelling at the old man about an account issue. The customer was clearly unable to articulate the technical issue, and the employee started yelling at him and said, "I'm not going to go over this with you again", repeatedly and told him to leave the store and to come back with someone who could talk about the account. It was sad to watch this, and I felt terrible for the old man. No matter what the issue was, the employee should not have berated him or yelled at him. This was not a good experience at Spectrum.

We're in the midst of moving to a new location, and the new location is not serviced by Spectrum. I'm not happy to HAVE to leave Spectrum, but boy did they burn their bridges today. I called to cancel my service EFFECTIVE next month. As soon as the call finished, I returned to my computer to continue what I had been doing, only to find I had no internet. I redialed *the very same number* I had just disconnected from, and the automated system says something along the lines "we recognize your number as a residential customer ...." [um, no, I'm a business customer but okay let's keep rolling]. I won't detail the conversation, but each person I spoke with transferred me to another person. At the end of the 35 minute phone call I had spoken with FIVE different people before they reconnected my internet. There is not a spectrum store any where close to be able to drop off the equipment. Asked for a mailing address to ship it back and they would not provide one. I tried to explain that none of those options will work as I am not driving over an hour to do that when I am willing to pay the shipping at the post office. I don't want to drive over an hour to sit in there store for hours as I have done that before. Customer service is horrible. They need to figure that out. I am glad I won't have to deal with this in the new location I am moving too as they do not service that area. Oh the funny thing is the guy I spoke with said I can take it to a location once we move and gave me the area. Yeah that is over 2 hours away from where we are moving too. What a joke.
