Never showed up. Never phoned. When I telephoned at the end of the day to find out what happened they wouldn't pick up the phone. Instead, they sent an email with the ridiculous excuse there wasn't anywhere to park. Most of the day we were home or they could've phoned. I've got a huge parking lot behind my house to accommodate trucks and trailers; and there's also an empty lot next door landscapers park their equipment at everyday of the week. The worst company in the world. If I wanted a weed garden I would give him 5 stars. All dead seed and he had the nerve to knock on my door with 2 foot tall weeds and ask for payment. I sent him packing. I have photos of his work if you need a good laugh. read more

It's now been two years since my first review of Dirt and Turf (in which I gave the company and its owner five stars) and I am disappointed. Apparently Pat's business has picked up sufficiently that he doesn't do the actual work himself but relies on hired workers. Whether this is the reason for my dissatisfaction or not, my lawn is again looking bad with brown areas or no grass at all. I called to have someone check on its condition and I was promised (by a woman who handles the office, I guess) that someone would be here to see what the problem is. It's been more than a week and no one has been here or contacted me since. I may be looking for another landscaper soon. But, unfortunately, I have already pre-paid for the entire season, so I will see what my lawn looks like come the Fall. read more

My yard looked better before they started doing the lawn treatments, total waste of money. They will also preform treatments after you ask them to stop and then charge you for it anyway and send it to collections. We also sent e-mails to them asking about how we can improve the appearance of our lawn, and got no response. My mom also used them and her lawn looked terrible with brown spots everywhere. I was excited to see all the good reviews for Dirt & Turf so i decided to have them come out and price the fertilizer/weed treatments, tick and flee and overseeding at end of year for my home. Signed up for everything the next day. They informed me they would get back to me with schedule for 1st treatment. Waited 2 weeks and no call. Called receptionist and was told it would be done no later than a week from the day i called which was a Thursday. Week went by no show no call! Called again on a friday was told by receptionist (apology after apology) that absolutely no later than following Monday. Monday comes no show no call. Tuesday comes I call them again to inform them to don't bother coming! Maybe a victim of there own success. Either way i never ever received a single call from them during the whole process.
