They give you a little shower with hose, a blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, brushes, a towel, and a few treats. For $20 this was perfect. I wish I had taken some pictures, because it was the perfect setup! I walked in without an appointment and got right in. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I will never bring my dog back to this place, and I strongly advise others to stay away. The moment I walked in, I should have turned around. The entire facility was filthy, dirty--hair piled up everywhere, full trash cans, and a horrible smell that tells me they don't properly clean or disinfect between dogs. Somehow, my dog managed to leave looking and smelling worse than when I brought him in. His cut is completely uneven, he still smells dirty, and he was covered in stray hair from other dogs. Located in a strip mall in a high traffic area with ample parking. The front employees were standing around chatting, which normally wouldn't bother me except I'd called to ask questions prior to the visit and no one bothered to answered the phone. The smell upon entering was not wet dog but more like sewage, very unpleasant, as I moved towards the wash stations the smell faded The wash station was dirty, hair still in the tub from the previous user Very watery shampoo (no labels to know what you're actually using) I suppose they dilute it so it lathers more quickly, but if I returned I'd bring my own. Water pressure is great, but water temperature never really got warm. The towels are quite raggedy & not absorbent. The blow dry was miserable between all the fur on the unswept floor blowing around, & not having a place to put my pet while drying. $24/per hour is increased from the $20 I was told by another customer but again I tried to call to inquire on pricing & products and got no answer. read more

Was recommended to dirty dog by a friend. Even though I had read the reviews, I decided since it was a recommendation I would try them. Sad I did. On first impression the place looks ok. Staff was friendly although there was quite a bit of dog hair on the floor. Usually not a big deal at a groomer but this was out in the open area, not in the grooming area. I asked for the basic service, wash, blow dry and nail trim. Since our dog is short hair. When I picked up my dog she was still a bit damp. Not a huge deal, I would have been more upset about that if it were winter. More disappointing was the price they charge and didn't even trim her nails. Which was half the reason for bringing her in. We have two other dogs I was considering bringing in but after this we will not be returning nor telling anyone else to go there. read more

First off, this business is so accommodating. After a recommendation from my neighbor who takes her 2 doxies to DDG I have taken my mini doxie here for a couple years and have always been very pleased, and she seems to be happy too :) They also do cat grooming, which is super hard to find these days. This was our first time bathing our sheepdog/ poodle and it was an experience. The staff and facilities were great however if you have this breed the shampoos/ conditioner are not good at all for this type of coat. There was nothing we could do but muscle through it and beg her forgiveness. Any other coat should do great but with a doodle consider bringing all of your own things (brushes, shampoo, conditioner, spray)... we even upgraded to the oatmeal and conditioning spray (it was pretty awful). I emailed them my dog's vaccination records so all I had to do was drop my dog off at her appointment time! Ever since Cindy left, the owner, they don't know what they are doing. They're all like college age. I paid for the whole shebang and his nails are growing into his paws and I get him groomed every 2 months. Also he scorches on his but all the time and I ask them to do his anal glands and they are never done. We went to a border once within the last year and they said his glands were so full??? I have a 4 year old 23 lb dog. And one time he jumped off the table straight on his chest? How does that happen?? read more

I'm so happy I found Dirty Dog for our little Maltese. We were using a different groomer in the area, but the groomers at this place wasn't consistent so her cuts were sometimes iffy (like - drop off a long hairy Maltese and we pick up the same dog, but now she looks like a poodle!) and inconsistent. We have been to Dirty Dog twice to drop the girl off for her doggie hair/spa appointment. We leave a furry Maltese and I pick up the same cute Maltese with a fresh new furcut. She smells good and I can tell she's treated with love there. They have a large area fenced and gated to keep the animals safe. I haven't seen a cage or crate either time. Both times Molly was behind the gate with the rest of the staff roaming around happily. I love that about this place! She's not stuck in a cage or ignored, and yet she is behind a safe gate so she can't accidentally get out the front door. Grooming her doesn't take long and they call me to pick her up. After the covid restrictions lifted, everyone wanted to get their dog groomed and they were very booked up so we had to take our dog to a different place and he ended up with a huge cut inside his ear and they shaved off the skin by his butt. So i was recommended this place for grooming when my veterinarians office was short staffed with groomers. I am sure glad they did. I have an elderly cat, 17 years young, who occasionally requires a lion cut. She is a grumpy old lady. The ladies got in her FIRST thing in the morning so she wouldn't be stressed by other dogs. They groomed her very quickly and she had no cuts or knicks. I also have to say I was genuinely touched by how much they cared about my pet and went out of their way to make her comfortable. Additionally, when I came in today for a self serve wash the girl at the front desk was extremely nice, helpful, & patient. I've had my mini bernedoodle groomed a few times at Dirty Dog Grooming and this last time just put me over the edge. First of all, my 25lb dog costs $70-80 to groom and they aren't even doing a full cut. Second, I had an 11:30am appointment and she wasn't done until 3:30pm!! All they care about is getting the most dogs in and making the most money and don't care about any type of quality control. There were dogs everywhere and the manager kept saying "it's crazy... it's the holidays" well, that is not an excuse. It should not take 4 hours to groom my dog especially when we have an appointment. When I picked her up, she didn't even look like she had been fully groomed. I ask for her to be cleaned up and maintained (not a huge cut) and her ears looked scragly and the top of her head was crazy. Seriously, no care at all put in to it and yet it's so damn expensive. I would save yourself time, money and anxiety and GO ELSEWHERE! I could keep going but these are the main things and I for sure will not be going back to a place that shows no respect. read more

I know that we all (or almost all of us) love our dogs/pets and are extremely protective of them. I am neurotic about my Charlie. He was my son's dog and my son passed away and Charlie is now with me so enough said. Charlie is a "Dorkie" (part Dachshund and part Yorkie) so he doesn't have to be groomed too often. Recently, his undercoat went wild and he looked like a street dog. I brought him to Cindy at Dirty Dog. He came back looking like a different dog. And, I actually left the premises while he was groomed which I didn't do at any of the other grooming places I have taken him to. I trust Cindy and her staff and that says it all. What a fantastic place. When I came In With my two dogs I was greeted by very friendly and professional girl who took me back to the washing station. She brought me everything I needed. Shampoo , conditioner, brushes, extra towels you name it. The stations are quite large and my two dogs fit quite comfortably. I cannot believe they have been here for a year and I just found out. I'm telling everyone. The mess I deal with at home is over. The price was so reasonable I was very surprised. I took my time with each dog no one rushed me. It was a terrific experience. Place wasn't very clean, they caged him right away upon arrival. They "trimmed" his nails but left him bleeding. They state they brushed him after bathing but we ended up brushing him at home to get more lose hairs off him. He feels clean but doesn't smell clean. I love this place! They have a cute store front, two self-bathing areas and a professional grooming area in the back. It's decorated with white picket fences, the first is when you walk in, beware, there are usually cats and dogs walking around. The self-bathing areas are the next series of white picket fences, both separated from each other (which is great). The two bathing areas, have the large steps for your dog to walk up, so the sink is at waist level for me, this is so great because you're not bending over and breaking your back. They provide small and large towels, brushes, shampoo, conditioner (you can upgrade shampoo for $3), apron, and the high-velocity dryer. You can also purchase bandannas, bows, clothing, treats, toys, etc., in the store, the groomer is also available to clip or file his/her nails on a walk-in basis. I have a 75lb chocolate lab and we are usually there about an hour and we leave 95% dry. I used to be a dog bather at Petsmart (many, many years ago) so I know my way around the tools and dryer. The staff is always kind and upbeat and willing to give you a hand. Recommendations: -Call ahead and ask if the baths are both free before you come. This will not guarantee you a bath, but if you are driving across town, you will at least know what your wait time looks like. So far, I have never had to wait, but I've seen people wait for me and the bath next to me. -If your dog doesn't like other dogs/cats, make sure you tell them before you cross the first gate, so they can either pick up or put away the animals walking around for everyone's safety. -If you prefer to use a Furminator brush, bring your own, they do not supply those types of brushes. -REMEMBER, bath time is stressful for your dog. So please come in a calm state and try and stay in a calm state for your dog and the others your sharing the space with. :) read more
