I was craving oysters and stumbles upon Dirty Don's. They have indoor and outside seating; inside is pretty small. I sat outside and they had live entertainment. The staff was nice and checked on me throughout my visit. When my server had to help a larger party, another server came and let me know and she took over. I ordered a daiquiri and the oyster sampler. The oysters Rockefeller were served cold, which I didn't care for. And there were tons of flys outside, which deterred me from ordering more food.

Last night we decided to try dirty don's again. This time, it was a whole new experience. We sat at the bar and ordered cocktails. I went with a lemon drop. We then decided to share the oysters Rockefeller. They were delicious and covered in bacon. Then on our own. I ordered the ribs with Asian sauce and he ordered the southern lobster roll. He said it was the best lobster roll he ever tasted (better than Claw House.). My ribs came. They were huge. No time for dessert but I think we will be back. If you see me there, stop by and say hello.

For a touristy venue near Ocean Boulevard, Dirty Don's is a good choice for individual or family dining. While the venue is small As a midwesterner, I don't often get seafood, so my palate may not be as refined as east coast residents used to fresh shellfish. That being said, my oysters on the half shell and lobster roll were solid. I'm unclear of what Yelper Joe C. is alluding to with service...although I have only been to Myrtle Beach during their seasonal window (late May - early Sept). I'd imagine it's a bit less supported when students are back in school. I do agree with Yelper Denise T.--happy hour beverages are extremely limited; not what you'd hope for.

This is one of our go-to places when visiting Myrtle Beach. The service is friendly and fast. The live music and outdoor seating is a great setting. The food - fantastic every time. The avocado bites are delicious and tacos too but the star of the meal is the street corn.

Nice little restaurant/bar; they have inside and outside seatings. We ordered and food came out delish! Service is good and we will come back again!

Stinks - Tourist Trap Let's start with the only positive, the place is on the boardwalk. Positivity over. Awful food, awful service, terrible measured fake craft cocktails, and extremely overpriced. I literally have nothing positive to say. We ordered an oyster platter, they were clearly frozen. Peel and eat shrimp rubbery. Tuna avocado boats with none sushi grade tuna. The entire experience was a disaster. I hate to say this, but please don't waste your money. Walk down the boardwalk and goto to the 8th Ave Tiki, very good food and service. Thanks

We stopped here for an early dinner after walking up and down Main Street so we were definitely hungry. It was a nice day and there was plenty of open outdoor seating. The outdoor picnic tables had umbrellas and there was cornhole boards to play while we waited. The place was decorated with a heavy nautical theme and you could tell it was very touristy. I really didn't mind that though since we're on a beach vacation and we were technically tourists. We started with an order of steamed oysters. They were pretty good but we had to shuck them ourselves. I wish they would have done that for us. I ordered a Pineapple Blonde Ale that wasn't very good but that was on me, I should have asked for a sample first. I got the Oyster Po Boy for my dinner and was VERY impressed. It was delicious and they were fried perfectly, not overcooked or rubbery. And seriously, try the French Fries. They are they best I've ever had. I don't claim to be a French Fry connoisseur, but I really REALLY loved these.

Super small spot that is serving average seafood. Service was good throughout the visit but there is nothing remarkable about this place. The blackened oysters were ok. Pretty loud, dive kinda place

We stopped by this location to get some food. I understand why old bay and lemon go on a seafood boil. It's just classic.

Small location but the food made up for it! Attentive server and quick drinks. The fish sandwich and crab cake sandwich were both super flavorful and cooked just right. Even grilled, the fish wasn't dry or undercooked. Hand cut fries were perfect.

This location is down near the airport so there's not as much foot traffic to compete with during the day! Food was served hot and our waitress was very attentive the entire time.

Hi Everyone, If you…read morelive to eat as many my of my Italian friends do, Villa Romano's succulent fare, will put that curl in your hair. This restaurant was a surprise from our oh so friendly, engaging, interesting and very accomplished Accordion Virtuoso, Mike. To our very enthusiastic, lovely, patient, Server Berkley. To our food which was divine. To the "Old World" Italian environment, kinda like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, without the human statues that move ever so slightly, but just enough to to make you feel, something is a miss, but what??? Man, that drove me crazy. Also, you want to go here to dine because their competing Restaurants in the area feel having you wait in very long, well over an hour and a half lines, just to get in satisfies their need not to take any reservations. Hun...? Yep, they're fine having Aunt Susie's makeup looking like Mark Shostrom, the Master Makeup Artist from the horror series "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, put it on for her. We all know also, because while we tried our best not looking at how Aunt Susie's makeup was contorting her face, it was like trying not to look at a car wreck. I even laid 7-5 odds that her false eyelashes would become a moustache, and won, while we all did exactly that to satisfy my beautatious date's Cousins' from Reno, fish wish, in Myrtle Beach. We stood in the lines outside, in the evening heat, at three different restaurants that we tried. Please remember to bring water, you'll feel better while you wait, wait, wait again, and then really wait, as if Mosses is going to appear from on high with the Ten Commandments. Instead it's, "Your table is ready" as you try to wake Grandma from her heat induced coma. While Villa Romano's bait, is to actually take your reservation and instead, have you relax on your tushy while having a cocktail in their comfortably A/C filled delightful ambience while you relive your day's perspective with friends and Family ("No, you missed it. First he...", ya know), while Mike fills the air with his sweet mellifluous musical notes floating by you for your audio pleasure, much like the feather in Forrest Gump. Their appetisers looked awesome however, this is an "Old World" Italian restaurant that offered their minestrone soup, and their Caesar salad which came with our meals, was very tasty, and paired very well with the bottle of wine from their varied, and well selected wine list, which we all shared. First, I read some of Villa Romania's great reviews on Yelp, before making a reservation, most especially, because I did not want anyone to have to repeat "THE LONG Lines" at our Fried Fish Palace, lol experience from two nights earlier. All of our entrees pictured below, were savoy, aroma enticing, tastebud thrilling, flavor forward, and exceeded all our sensory expectations which helped us all unwind while really enjoying our evening out together as it unexpectedly, evolved into an event for us all. While all their deserts sounded wonderful we were all completely full. But on our next visit, tiramisu, ice cream, and cannolis for all. So it's expensive, right? That is a great question Poindexter, but wrongo, my parsimonious friend. It was again, surprisingly affordable, and "I shall return" as General Douglas MacArthur once said. Why? Because sometimes you just can't find what will work for everyone, and that feels and tastes, just right. That's it! That is Villa Romana Restaurant, and we all were so gleeful and happy we discovered that fact in our visit to Myrtle Beach, SC. Manga... Enjoy!

I was a bit skeptical because we passed it a few times on our way to different places in town, and from the outside you couldn't tell that it served upscale cuisine. But it had great reviews so we took a chance. Ambience: The inside was dimly lit with an old school feel. Reminds you of an old school New York establishment from the 80's. I liked it. It had a welcoming feel and I noticed there were at least two regulars the staff greeted. Food: We ordered an appetizer of calamari and the short ribs. Additionally, I was going to get the salmon but they had a special of red snapper with lump crabmeat, green beans and rice. The food was delicious. The calamari was one of the best I have ever tasted. The addition of the fried peppers complimented the dish well. They were nicely fried and seasoned. Very light crust which I love. Sadly I didn't get a chance to taste the short ribs because I was just too enthralled in my dish. The snapper was perfection! Everything on the plate paired well together. Also, if you're not going for an alcoholic beverage, their freshly squeezed lemonade is so refreshing. Service: I'm truly bad about remembering names and as is my usual, I don't recall the name of the waitress, but she was truly attentive and nice. She was also knowledgeable about the food and patient. Truthfully, all the waitstaff seemed genuinely kind towards the patrons, which was nice. If I am ever in the Myrtle Beach area again I will definitely be going back. Loved it!

The food was incredible -- I had a filet mignon, green beans and mashed potatoes, and it was all perfectly cooked to order. My husband had short ribs and said they were wonderful. The meal was not cheap at all, but considering we spent $60 on a breakfast buffet somewhere else (and inflation in 2026,) we knew that was coming. Definitely the place to go to celebrate. It was an experience to remember!

In all the years since we left Italy I have been to many supposedly Italian restaurants and been disappointed.
