After seven years of using him twice a year for preventive maintenance and occasional system breakdowns, he continues to amaze me with his breadth of knowledge of heating and cooling systems. What to me is even more important, he is totally focused on his customers. My primary (downstairs) system is over twenty-five years old and broke again this weekend. Naib offered to come out on the weekend, but I told him that would not be necessary. If it got too hot we would adjourn to the upstairs. But he was here first thing Monday morning and fixed (again) a substantial problem. Whether routine or emergency services, if you need quality competent HVAC help with fair and reasonable prices, THT Air Solutions is the place to call. 972-670-0560

I had a home warranty but the soonest they could come out was a few days later which I knew would be very difficult to do. I decided to just go ahead and find a company on my own and pay for repairs out of pocket. After calling a half dozen companies in the area, none had any openings for at least a couple of days. Upon calling THT, the lady (who turned out to be the technician's wife) told me they could be out in a couple of hours which was a complete surprise. Naib, the technician, came as promised and diagnosed my issue. The repair he quoted me was a bit on the higher side but I gave him the green light since we needed the system fixed quickly. He was honest about what the problem was, which I feel like could have turned into a multi-thousand dollar bill with some of these other shady companies. Two hours later, we were back in business. Overall I'm happy with THT and have confidence in Naib's expertise (he claims to have been in the business for over 40 years). You might pay a bit more than the other guys, but Naib doesn't seem like the kind of person who would rip you off on necessary repairs.

To Rescue Air's credit, they had been warning us each time they came out for HVAC Filter rotations. Thankfully, Rescue Air's ace plumbing expert Mr. Phillip Blystone was dispatched to my home to assess the situation. Within minutes he identified the issue and immediately started to work out a plan and arrangement my family could manage to cover the expense of the Water Heater replacement: the source of the leaking problem. Rescue Air has a very long history of working with my family since we've been in this home (2016), so that level of service is a given these days. But that's not the complete reason for the 5-Star rating. The next day, now with a working heater, my wife and I discovered that a leak was still present in the Garage. Upon calling Rescue Air to let them know what was going on, Mr. Blystone responded swiftly to our location to triage the leak. Using both his advanced equipment and intuition, he found that in spite of the solid repair and replace he and his team performed of the water heater, a leak was sadly missed during the initial assessment. Most other business would likely have tacked on a "not-our-problem" sort of response to this. However, Mr. Blystone and by extension Rescue Air are not your normal type of company. With careful consideration of the economic circumstance of the recent repair & purchase, balancing years of customer loyalty and being a genuinely saint, Mr. Blystone proceeded to isolate and resolve the leak (a small puncture hole in the T-pipe hot-water line leading from the heater) pro-gratis. Completely unexpected, but definitely much appreciated! It goes without saying it would be extremely foolish for my family to consider doing business with anyone else in the Dallas Metro given Rescue Air's track record with our family. The value lost would be far too great. While I hope to not need their services as often as recently, I definitely look forward to working with them and Mr. Blystone should the need arise again.

They claimed safety issues, pushed contracts in front of me, and scheduled installation for the next day. I tried to cancel but was told I was locked in. I ended up spending around $30,000. After the installation, every maintenance visit came with aggressive attempts to sell me more services I did not need. Then the new system failed in 106 degree heat. The compressor failed at only 16 months old. Communication was poor, and I was left without AC for about seven days. I had to repeatedly chase them for updates. They did not have the part, did not follow up, and someone finally arrived at 10:30 PM after days of waiting. They gave me a two year complimentary membership as compensation. I assumed the membership would end after the two free years. My card on file had expired, yet in May and June 2026 the company suddenly began charging me again. This suggests someone manually updated my card information without my permission. I never authorized a renewal, never received a renewal notice, and never received invoices for any charges. They refunded the charges I caught, but then claimed I owed $95.80 for four months of fees that were never billed and never agreed to. I asked for written confirmation of a zero balance and never received a direct response. They only responded to the BBB and stated the account was at zero. Based on my experience with both service and billing, I strongly recommend being cautious before using this company.

Sadly, the owner of Nick's passed away and this company is now owned by Dunrite. I called that company based on the reviews of Nick's Air Services, but their services has definitely NOT been the same as mentioned on this profile. In summary, this company is expensive, can make improper recommendations, and the office is very difficult to get anyone to call you back. I absolutely would not use them again in the future and - had I read their Yelp profile for Dunrite Heating & Cooling - would never have called them in the first place. My experience: My air conditioning due to leaked refrigerant due to another HVAC technician not correct. Nick's/Dunrite came out during the same day and quickly identified the problem. There was a leak on the schrader valve. They got us back to running - for nearly $200/per pound of refrigerant. 5 lbs = about $1,000. Wow, but we had no choice as my original installer was not available. Our unit has not been keeping up with the 90s for the past two months and the technician recommended 3 different options. I chose 2 of the 3 options: a larger return air duct AND repairing the plenum. I was anxious to get the work scheduled and it took me hounding them to get them to schedule the work. Communicating with this office was very painful. I would never get calls back and would just get a text message indicating when they had scheduled the appointment. Their front desk support was exceedingly helpful but not empowered to do anything besides schedule appointments and pass along info. I finally had the appointment and the technician went to the wrong address. I got a call from them saying they had been at my house and then they proceeded to the next job. I spoke to them and learned they were at the wrong house, but could not turn around to go back to my house. I had to wait until the following week to get the appointment rescheduled. What a disaster. It got worse. The work was finally done - the return air duct and the plenum. I waited a couple of days, but there was NO change in the air conditioning. I called them back again and they scheduled another technician to come out. The second technician came out, a more senior technician, who confirmed that the unit was undersized and "working as it was designed" to cool at 75-76. I don't know a single person who is comfortable with 75-76 in the house when the outside is in the 90s. I called customer service again. When I finally got someone, I got a call from William, who is their most senior technician (an older guys in his late-50s probably). He came out with the original technical and instructed him how to properly do a heat load calculation. They determined indeed the unit is undersized and I needed a 3 ton. I called back the customer service asking for a refund to the work. I've called at least 3-4 times, each time speaking with a very nice person. However, I've still not been called back. What a disaster. I've finally had to resort to filing a complaint with my credit card and disputing it through them. It's unfortunate and I didn't want to have to do this, but - when no one will call you back - it's very very hard to trust this company to make things right.

On the morning of June 8, I submitted a service request through Yelp and received a prompt response from Airmatics. I scheduled appointments with Airmatics and a few other companies to diagnose the issue. Airmatics' technician, Vlad, identified the problem faster than any of the other technicians who inspected the system. Not only was the diagnosis accurate, but the repair estimate came in several hundred dollars lower than the competing quotes I received. More importantly, the price felt fair and aligned with what I expected the repair should cost. After comparing estimates that were filled with upsells and inflated charges, choosing Airmatics was an easy decision. The following day, Vlad returned and completed the repair quickly and efficiently. My HVAC system was up and running immediately. However, he didn't stop there. He took the initiative to inspect the outdoor condenser unit and check the system's performance. After measuring the air temperature, he noticed it wasn't cooling as effectively as it should. He recommended adding refrigerant, and after I approved the work, the temperature of the air coming from the vents dropped by 20 degrees. The difference was immediately noticeable. Vlad is an outstanding technician--professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took the time to explain the issues, walk me through the repairs, and answer my questions without ever making me feel rushed. It was a pleasure working with him. If you need HVAC repairs or maintenance, I highly recommend Airmatics. They provided honest service, fair pricing, and quality workmanship. I will be using them for all of my future HVAC needs.
