Got new tires, they or whoever did the job there, damaged my speed wheel sensor. they denied it and the dealer said they see it all the time with careless tire changes. I'm out $500 and have zero way of proving it so it's my word vs theirs. they are incompetent and untrustworthy. same day issues, I had to leave the country for 3 weeks come back to have them look at it and they said they can't look at speed sensors. dumb, it was freaking hanging broken from impact likely the rim hitting it. but hey lesson learned I wanted to save some money and my old man always said you get what you pay for... took my car for all new tires, started driving it next morning and ended up getting stranded on the side of the interstate for hours. come to find out it was because the valve stem was leaking air. Apparently this is a common issue but you would think they would check prior? Also was missing a valve cap and psi was overinflated on almost all tires. Once I was able to get back over there, management handled it amazingly, got it taken care of within 10 minutes and sent me on my way. I drove it for 45 minutes and the tire pressure would NOT read. They truly did everything they could to fix it, even called the dealership. It ended up showing hours later. Regardless, day from hell dealing with all of this. Everything should've been checked in the first place but I can say if you DO have a problem, management is very helpful and gets it taken care of. read more

Pulled up at 8:03am simply for a tire pressure check because my TPMS light popped on, not a single soul came over to assist or reassure that someone would be over to do the check if they themselves could not. Sat there until 8:20am just to see how long it would take before pulling off. I took in a new set of PVD chrome rims (that I ordered on line, not cheap) to be mounted and balanced. The store in Avon is the only store I have found in Indianapolis that has the touchless tire mounting machine. The service was fantastic and they got my rims mounted, balanced and did a wheel alignment in a very reasonable time frame. When sitting in the showroom I was listening to them speak with other customers. All the representatives were so polite, accomodating and knowledgable about all the products and services offered. It was a great experience. We did encounter a small problem getting my TPMS sensors to work. I credit that problem to Cadillac. You have to go into the menu system and follow the steps to get them to calibrate. They work perfectly now. I will definately return to Discount Tire in Avon when I need new tires or other services. Went in for a slow leak tire repair. Tire was removed from wheel for inspection. Sales guy pointed at a previous plug repair and recommended replacing the relatively new tire. They didn't have a suitable replacement in stock so they had to reinstall it and we discussed ordering a replacement. It's been several weeks now and the tire is fine. No charge for fixing tire leak which was fixed by virtue of refreshing the rim sealing. He also pushed replacing the windshield wipers which he said were badly worn when in fact they had been replaced new a few days earlier! Bottom line: Their tire work is very good, but the sales guy was pushy and tried to sell me things I didn't need. read more

i showed up with no appointment because that's just who i am! (it's a gif reference) Austin assisted me from my arrival into the parking lot until the very end. This location is providing curb side/parking lot assistance and will meet you at your car to do the initial assessment at your car .. write down the info THEN you go inside for the computer stuff - they should just do this anyway instead of you walking in waiting, walking back out to your whip and walking in again lol - it makes more sense! i had to buy 4 new tires and i was weary like my good sis solange at the cost during a pandemic during a stay at home order Austin made my experience easier by explaining everything i had a question about! like how all 4 tires could possibly need replaced as i never skip service, this includes dealer btw had been in previously for a repair etc but 2 of them actually could have waited ;) we love honesty especially as a woman dealing with car service. they didn't have my current tires on hand but he quickly gave me options on availability and the timeline of receiving them. i opted to upgrade to the avail on hand. he called me when my car was ready AND the eta he provided before i left was accurate. His coworker Michael? Nice too! he saw me waiting and asked him to come help me when i returned to pick my car up and also he greeted me on my initial arrival and said someone would help me soon. he had no clue austin had already greeted me and told me my wait in line. i actually was not in the best of moods yesterday and i can't think of one complaint lol. read more

Y'all know that I love this company. They have free air, inspections, and rotations! Warranty on new tires covers plugs, the staff is always on point with their manners. But this one is a bit slow on the free air check, and the ladies' room could have used some attention. This is the only one around for a few miles; so they stay super busy. I found a screw in my new tire so I went to Discount Tire (Avon) for a repair. Keyton was very helpful, explaining that the location of the screw near the sidewalk made it necessary to most likely replace the tire. He ordered the tire and set an appointment for me. On arriving at my appointment, Jordan and I pulled the screw and inspected the tire to find NO leak. A new tire was not necessary! Keyton and Jordan could not have been more helpful or considerate! read more

Love this place! Staff was wonderful and my kids really enjoyed watching the guys use all their tools and everyone was very professional, fast & nice to the kiddos. I purchased one tire top brand 236 then with military discount $210 out the door. I love the fact I can just come here and get air and fix a hole for free but also I love my warranty on my tires. Since 2005 we have gotten our tires here the price is great the after warranty is great and the fact you can get your hole plugged for free (if it's not on the side) is wonderful. Prices are fair, they will occasionally offer a discount on quoted price. Best option is to make an appointment. They do offer walk in service also. I usually do my business with the store in Greenwood but I was always treated right by the GM Kyle there and it seems they moved him here to Avon so I make the extra drive because I find his service exemplary. No. I received great customer service from these guys and they were completely swamped. A few old women came in and berated them for not moving them up in order. Of course, this wasn't possible. This place is fantastic! They have a dedicated lane if all you need is air in your tires or a pressure check. You don't even have to get out of your car. Just drive up and someone comes right out to air up your tires for free. If you have a nail in your tire that can be patched, they'll do that for free, too, regardless of where you bought it. It can be a busy place, so if you show up without an appointment, you might have to wait a bit, but I overheard them tell a customer on the phone as long as they arrive before closing time, the staff will stay as long as necessary to get the job done. This place is fairly busy most of the time but I think they could stand to improve the customer experience. The waiting area is uncomfortable and they don't have Wi-Fi like most other dealerships and service places do so it's difficult to get work accomplished while you wait. The pricing on various tires isn't readily available and talking with the sales staff has that old school negotiation feel to it. I prefer transparency. I had swapped out two tires and they didn't fill them up with enough air. The air light was on when I left and when I returned one of the staff told me to 'drive on them a while and the light will go off'. Ok, when that didn't work, I returned to the bay and had them air the tires, which were under filled by like 6 psi. read more
