I went to this shop today and they gave me the hardest time I basically did their job today "Jorge " was the name of the guy that "help" but didn't want to do his job so first I went at 11am and he supposedly took the right pictures and documentation , he didn't bc later 2 hours after the insurance told me he had to send a bubble test , I knew he didn't even care do to bc he told me to leave right away after only taking a few pictures not even checking with them if that's all or with his manager if he didn't know how to do an insurence claim , he proceeded to tell me he sent everything they needed to insurence and I could leave and he would call me back to let me know what they said , he didn't call not even to tell me they haven't answer I had to go back and call the insurence myself and figure out what they wanted at this point I could of send them the pictures or staid the whole time if he would of told me I needed to stay as well never did they try to reach back to insurence or call them to get me help they didn't send enough proof insurence has to tell me what to send next bc they apparently can't do their job of an insurence claim also they told me they would take 1-2 weeks sometimes and the insurence laughed and told me they never take that long only takes 30 min to approve with the right communication they clearly didn't have ! I'm super disappointed in how they treat people and if the insurence claim pays everything they should treat all customers right bc we are the reason they have a job why wouldn't they ? After 4 -5 hours of waiting and me having to call every second of every step they finally got it done and didn't even apologize for the wait they could care less but were very happy once insurence approved they changed their attitudes after I did there whole job basically and the manager Nick was there he could of help his employee if he knew Jorge didn't know how to handle insurence claims but he didn't of course he wanted to blame the insurence but the insurence was very helpful and told me he was missing documents the whole time he treated me so bad I hope jorge gets the right training with insurence claims read more

Worst customer service I called in Thursday march 7th 2024. asking for a specific tire was told they did have it so after work I stopped to get installed. Than was told that no they Do NoT have it so it has to be ordered. I go ahead order it and pay it. They say ok it will be here tomorrow march 8th our deliveries get here at noon so any time after will have it for you . Now leaving again without my tire,because they didn't receive my tire and won't be here untill Monday march 11th!! I real waste of my time when they could have called and told me not to stop by if they didn't receive something that is already payed for!! read more

I have been doing business with Discount Tire for over 30 years! I would never buy tires from any other place just because of the service and products, not to mention they are nationwide! I have a very disappointing review in that this location failed to balance my tires when I came in for a rotate and balance. I had much more vibration and as a result the tires are cupping, feathering! Luckily my usual Discount Tire location has rebalanced the tires and advised me that they will replace the tires if they don't smooth out. What I noticed is a bunch of young men racing and rushing to get the cars in and out as quickly as possible and as a result the service (at this location) seriously lacks the quality I have come accustomed to when dealing with DT! Shouldn't be a race! Should be about quality! Take their bonus for speed away and replace it with a bonus for quality and happy customers. I hope a regional manager reads this and goes into this store to retrain the manager and the employees the way DT wants them to work! read more

Recently my daughter went to Dallas. You see, she took up with a ne'er-do-well who convinced her that leaving her family behind was a good idea. She's grownish so she gets to make her mistakes and learn from em, right? The weekend after she left, I get a call...the call no mother wants. She's anxious/pensive. I can hear it in her voice. It takes me a minute or two to coax out of her the events of the night before. There's been an argument, some violence, and two slashed tires on her new car. Remember, she's grown...ish. I move into action mode, "Google Discount Tire nearest me, and give me the number" I tell her. She gives me the number to this location. I tell her I'll call her right back. Cornell answers the phone. I explain my daughter's in Dallas, she's had a car emergency, she needs a tow and some tires. I ask for any ideas about tow companies. He explains they don't work with any particular tow company, but he provides a number to one he's familiar with. He says they'll be looking for the car, and he'll get her back on the road. In the meantime, my daughter is making a report to Dallas PD. The officer tells her to go to Discount Tire and talk to Cornell. She tells me this when I call her back, and I found it an interesting coincidence. I get the tow truck arranged, they fetch her and the vehicle. Within two hours, she's standing in front of Cornell. He's professional, and understanding. He asks no questions about how this occurred, and I'm thankful because understandably my daughter is already hearing her mom's unspoken words "Toldja so" ringing in her ears. By noon the experts at Discount had my daughter back on the road, and back to S.A. with yet another lesson. None of us are too old to learn em still. If you need tires, and professionalism with compassion drive on into Discount. Whether in Dallas or here in S.A., customer service is their middle name. Had tires and wheels that were purchased 11 months ago and the the front tires were rubbing so the wife says. I could hear it when I drove it to the store. The store said that they weren't covered by warranty as it was worn on the inside of both tires of the front due to the alignment. The car isnt out of alightment. There is no camber or pitch nor pulls. I had just paid off the entire set of wheels and tires then had to spend an additional $900+ on two new tires when they should have been covered due to them rubbing. Oddly the two replacements still have a slight rub from time to time but not like the others. If these were replaced with OEM sizes, why? Why was I forced to spend nearly another $1000 bucks after just paying off the originals less than a year prior? Also a factory cap was broke last year when the wheels were put on and we had to settle for the blank cap that came with the new wheels. Another cap was broke on this visit so atleast they ordered 2 OEM replacements. I commend that but that doesnt make up $1000 read more

Hands down the BEST customer service at a discount tire in all of DFW. David helped me out with swapping out my old wheels with some newer ones I had and when I came back with a flat due to one of the rims having a crack Emiliano got me right in and helped me out without charge. Inlove discount tire and I sent my son to paycheck a flat at the balch springs discount tire. They told him a wheel stud was bad and that they had to change all the lug nuts. Mind you they had already changed them the year before by discount tire but on another location. Soni went to buy the wheel stud to change it and to my amazement the wheel studs were in perfect condition. What happened is they didn't stick the socket all the way in and stripped half of the lug nuts outter size. I paid 40 dollars for nothing which I believe they did a hurried up job plus the cost of wheel stud I bought somewhere else. Mind you this is at the balch springs location, not at another discount tire location. They do awesome job at the one on Galloway in mesquite . read more
