Still have not received my hub cos from the Baytown decker store. I filed a complaint over 2 years ago where this black supervisor damaged two of my hub caps and he never told me that he broke them. Filed a complain with the company, they have not taken any action. It shows that they don't care and I will file an online social media petition to have people boycott this tire store. They will damage your vehicle and not inform the customer about it. read more

This had to be my shortest wait ever at a Discount. They have made it really convenient for anybody to get in and out quickly. I used my phone to order my tires the day before at a low price and even scheduled myself for the installation at a time I wanted. Lots of time slots to choose from. There were 2 major things that I was able to avoid. Number 1 having to wait for other people indecisive or clueless about tires and number 2 having to listen to their pitch about what kind of tires I should get and the lame warranty, lol. I have to place a one star because it will not take anything less. The problem is a Life Critical issue that Discount Tire shop caused and failed to correct. Discount Tire has been the only tire shop that has ever taken care of any tire replacement/work in every vehicle that I have had. Today 10/27/2025 the shop located on 1700 Decker Dr., Baytown, Tx 77520 caused the worst experience with them. I ordered 4 new tires on Wednesday and left a deposit that same day. Made the appointment for 8:00am Friday. For some reason the rear tires had not been delivered. So I was told that by 11:00am they would have them. When they called me in that the tires finally had arrived, I went to the shop by 11:20am. The cashier took my payment, the car keys and said that he would put the car in front of the line since they had already been late in servicing my vehicle. So I asked "How long will it take to have my vehicle ready?" to which I was told by 12:40pm it would be ready. I was asked if was going to stay or come back to which I said I was going to stay but just be outside walking around or go to store next door. So I took a walk and came back by 12:30pm and my vehicle was still in the same spot and no tire installation yet. I waited another 30 minutes and finally it was put inside the bay to be worked on. Another 45-60min passed and finally one of the managers came up to me and asked who had worked on my brakes. Odd question because the brakes had not been worked on since before the last time the Discount Tire on Decker Dr. had replaced the tires that were on the vehicle. Anyways, I said that the last time the brakes were worked on was by a local shop but it had been quite some time ago. So the manager says that the guy replacing the tires broke 2 lug nuts but that the 2 front tires also had a lug nut missing on each front tire (passenger and driver side). Also, that they couldn't remove the broken lug nuts plus they had to remove one of the other lug nuts from the other wheel to have 3 lug nuts on the wheel which had broken off the lug nuts. I asked if they could drill it out or tap it out somehow to remove the bolts and they said that they don't have the tools to do that sort of thing. The only suggestion I was offered was to take it to a mechanic have the wheel hub/brake assembly replaced or have the broken bolt removed and not to drive it too far in that condition. They then sent me on my way without an apology, discount or an offer to get me home. Instead, they pulled the car out of the bay, parked it in front and said that the keys were in the vehicle. They did not seem to think it was a problem to hand me back my vehicle in an unsafe condition with missing lug nuts. Pretty much for me to just figure it out and leave the property. By this time we are talking about just past 2pm - pretty much the whole day gone. I did manage to find a mechanic at the last minute and was able to fix the broken lug nuts left in the wheel hub/brake assembly but it cost me $200 to fix what Discount Tire damaged and I got my car back almost at 5pm. So what was the problem? Service was not ready even after giving a 2 day head start to get the tires to the store on time (I opted to add a day to ensure that the tires would be there at 8am 2 days after being ordered); the quality of work was bad (lug nuts missing from previous visit, broke lug nuts causing damage that I needed to repair and pay out of my pocket for something that Discount Tire did; sending me/leaving my vehicle in an unsafe state for me to drive it away and figure out how to get repairs done); the value was less than acceptable on this occasion and very likely the previous one due to lug nuts that were not put on adequately or maybe not even at all. No one has touched the car since the previous tires were bought/installed to the new ones other than by Discount Tire shop on 1700 Decker Dr., Baytown, TX 77520. How the issue was handled in a nonchalant manner and non-important nor any concern regarding my safety are grave concerns to the overall quality of work performed or the lack of concern for the customer's safety once they leave the bay/property. In my opinion - SHAMEFUL. I am a very dissatisfied with Discount Tires because they failed a customer in life critical factors. read more

This is definitely the best discount tire I've ever been to! Not only were they fast, but they corrected with another discount. Tire had made a mistake on and record time. It seem like everyone there asked me at one point. If there was anything else I needed and they were practically running around like a pit crew on all of the cars. Great job guys. read more

Waited for over 10 minutes in the tire inflation line (1st in line) and nobody even came to help me. Left and went to Discount Tire on Garth and was immediately helped. I won't be back to the Decker location. read more

Yesterday I simply went to Discount tires for air in my tires. The employee ask if he can check my tires, I said sure thank you. He opened the car door and scan the size chart. He said oh your 2 back tires needs to be replaced soon, would you like to go inside to check the prices. I said sure. I ask for 4 sentry tires, the store only had 3, he told me the other employee will pick it up at the other store. I said ok no problem. The employee got on the computer and said we have them. The first employee said " What I only saw 3 in the computer. So I paid for 4 brand new tires. An hour later my car made a loud noise everytime I turned the wheel. Come to find out. They not only put a different set of tires but also a different size. So I got on the computer to look up brand and size. And it said the size was not ment for my car. The wheel was rubbing on the frame. The tire was actually burning. I went back, ask to speak to the Manager. He introduced himself as the manager. I explained to him what happened and he said," What would you like me to do?" I was what, have lost your mind ,did you hear what I said? So I have to wait 3 hours for them to put 4 sentry tires on. I called corporate and got customer service. I explained what happened. That's when he's telling me that was not the manager. So they took off $88 and then asked me if I was satisfied with the way they fixed my problem as if I made the mistake. I saw him type it in the computer "Oh wrong size". These bastards will kill somebody making mistakes like this. People check everything if you have to go to this store. I differently won't be a customer anymore . Went yesterday to have my Jeep tires fix ended up with them damaging my vehicle. So today I have to find someone else to fix it. They drove it on two blown out tires and ruined my rims after me telling them not to. Then I had to tell them to fix the jack stands that they put on the plastic and broke on both sides of my brand new Jeep. All the while laughing at me say it's no big deal it's normal. It happens all the time. Then they get done the manger or something takes it to check it and puts more air in the tires and parks it . Then I noticed he goes back out and is tightening the tires again. At this point im mad. The store manager said it's fine they will replace the plastic. Get home find out my rims our trashed the tires our not right 14 and 20 weights on them . One tire is not sitting right. Never go to this place ever. They will destroy your vehicle. They are making me give a star or I would give none. read more

Same story as others came for tire rotation and balance as the certificates read. Waited an hour and a half .Tires were never balanced or pressures checked. I was watching the entire time they supposedly were doing the rotation and balance which was never done.I had a trip and couldn't bring them back as Jose the manager wanted me to in order to correct the issue. Gave me an alternate day and promised I would have no wait and they would fix my issues. Waiting for thirty minutes and fixing to cause a scene before I leave. read more

I went to the 1700 Decker Dr location yesterday to price tires. Dustin Deloney, the manager, was very rude and condescending. He also refused to print out a quote, insisting that writing on the back of a beat up business card was enough. I politely asked him repeatedly to stop insisting that I didn't understand the basics of pricing even after I explained everything back to him, including the fact that I've been a customer for well over a decade. As I said to him, "Just because I speak with an accent, it doesn't mean I think with one." He continued to be condescending, talking over me when I asked him to stop. When I asked for his manager's contact information, he refused to give it to me. I had to call another location for the information. This is not the first time I have received rude service from this location and others; the past couple of years has been mediocre at best. It's enough for me to highly consider taking my business elsewhere as well as influence my family to do the same. If my family's business for over 30 years isn't even worth having the common courtesy it takes to keep it, then we will gladly begin spending our money and time elsewhere. read more

Discount Tire used to be the place to go for great prices & service. Not any longer. I watched them replace 3 out of 4 of my tires with new ones. The 4th one was fairly new & didn't need replacing. But, it was low on pressure and I knew this since I had just checked it that morning. Before I backed out of the bay, I asked if that 4th tire had been aired up (I knew it hadn't) and I was told yes, all 4 were aired up. So, I pulled around into a parking lot & waited for the TPMS on my truck to update all the pressure readings. Sure enough, that 1 tire was low. Then, I pulled around their "air station" & got in line. I was asked what the problem was. I told them that that 1 tire was low. They AGAIN assured that it had been aired up. Now, guess what we found when it was my turn at the air station - yep, that tire was low. And the employee gave me some BS story about them having an issue with the air machine in that bay. I didn't buy it then & I'm not buying it now. I got nothing but lip service the entire time. If I wasn't on my game, I would have gotten played. These guys suck. read more

I called in and spoke with Angel about a price on some tires for my Jeep. I asked for the drive out price for the tires with the road hazard certificates and everything. He quoted me a price and I asked to clarify more than once that it was an "out the door" price with the certificates as well and was assured it was. I also asked to check on a price for some wheels for me and he said he would have to check and call me back. When I finally got a call back the next day the price for the tires had increased about $400. When I asked why the price changed I was sent to Carlos, who I assume was the manager. He was very rude and basically called me a liar stating that they "never" quote prices on certificates over the phone even though Angel absolutely did. Not a chance I'll do business there anymore. I had an appointment to get my tires rotated. Well I got there hammer them the keys unloaded the kids and sat in there waiting room for about 10 minutes before they came back and said they could not rotate my tires because they were not the exact size as came on the truck from the factory! What a crock of crap! There are tons of trucks that don't have the exact factory tires size on them! Completely ridiculous! read more

Went to buy a single tire without mounting in a carry out situation. The Salesman told me for security reasons, I would have to bring cash money even though I had a debit card for payment. This just a ploy so Discount Tires can get their $25 mounting fee and other add ons. Don't go here they are a ripoff. read more

I came in to replace my two front tires ( I replaced the back two about a month prior.) so they kept trying to push used tires for my car which I kept saying no, I didn't need tires in the back because I bought two brand new ones, I just wanted the front two tires. Well they went ahead and took my brand new tires and put used ones which went flat a day later. I am fuming since I declined TWICE to not take off my two back tires. They kept saying they were gonna go bad which I didn't respond because I knew I had two new tires, but they said they were the same as the front ( which is a lie, I replaced the two back tires months prior.) the fact they still replaced them and gave me even worse tires really pisses me off. Seems like they try to scam you since I declined twice but they thought it was okay to take my brand new tires and give me two flat tires for free ! It's not like I paid 200 for new tires two months prior ! They really tried to convince me with lies to get those back tires, which didn't matter since they took them anyway!! I went in to get a flat fixed and they refused to fix it because my tires were "too worn down." The tires are not new by any means but I no longer even drive the car. (I have been told this before a number of years ago and as soon as my boyfriend showed up they said they would only fix it if I signed a waiver saying they had told us the tires were worn and dangerous.) I told the gentleman that I would sign the waiver I just needed it fixed so it wouldn't get towed out of my apartment complex and he once again refused. No matter what I go in for they tell me my tires are getting pretty worn out or that I need new ones. Needless to say I went to the next tire shop down the road and they fixed it without a word of my tires being "worn" even the slightest bit. read more

I have always preferred this shop over the other discount tire in Baytown and it was reinforced this morning. I needed a flat repaired and when I arrived at the time they opened one of the associates came outside with his pen and paper ready to help. He listened to what was wrong and said no problem and they would take care of it for me. He immediately pulled my car into the shop and started working. 13 minutes later they are done and I am ready for the day. Thank you discount tires for the quick service. read more
