Having a flat tire is not a great way to start a weekend. Discount Tire once again came in to help! Without an appointment (although highly recommended if you can) I was able to walk in first thing in the morning on Saturday and get my tire fixed up within minutes. Jace and the Discount Tire gang were so nice and helpful. DT employees are always pros and have never led me astray. they started off telling me that the tires i had were not proper for my car, then told me i needed new tpms sensors and valve stems. the tires i have for my car were proper size and in the approve speed and load rating for my car but the door jam sticker had a different rating for speed and load so they would not install my tires plus they were charging 45 per tire to mount and balance. then proceeded to tell me i could buy the correct tires from then but would also need stems and sensors for then to actually do the job, as i was arguing that the tires i have were proper i observed a employee improperly use an impact gun and torque stick and over tighten wheels then used a quick snapping motion on the torque wrench which results in an incorrect torque reading and not following a criss cross pattern on tightening. so tell me again about proper tires and install..... read more

I purchase a set of tires(1000$) and schedule to have them installed. While there's plenty I'm unhappy with, I'll focus on the TPMS issues. They finish the install of tires. They bring my truck out, and I immediately realize they didn't sync the tpms to the module after supposedly rebuilding them. I was told to just leave and the light would go off. I work on ford trucks quite often and can tell you that's not even kind of true. I ask that they clear the codes for tpms faults and resync them. They acted like I was asking way too much. Not even a week later, TPMS fault pops up while driving. Call in. Say to bring it by. Made an appointment and show up. I said to avoid problems let's replace all the TPMS with brand new ones. 250$ later, I thought I would have no more issues. Well, guess what...TPMS fault. AGAIN! This place hasn't the slightest understanding of doing the job right the first time. Your vehicle is a guinea pig for the incompetent techs there. So now I'm in the same place I was prior to buying new sensors. I'm not sure they even changed them out. I have a kid with special needs so I could stand by and watch. And look what's occurred. Prior to this, and this new set of tires, I have never had an issue with TPMS. Dash has had 0 lights on. Now I get the lovely TPMS fault light. Interested to see how this is resolved read more

I have a front wheel drive vehicle and with turning and braking, of course the front tires are going to have more wear. So Discount is telling me they can't in essence make my vehicle safer by moving the fronts to the back and vise-versa? I paid for lifetime spin balancing and rotation was "included for free". The customer service here is great, they're always willing to work with you to get what you need. They offer free drive up air checks and fill ups to everyone without having to get out of your car. If you walk in during slow times, or if you have an appointment they're pretty quick (usually less than an hour). They also price match, so even though their prices are usually the lowest around anyway, they will still match a competitor's price if you find it cheaper. For a couple of decades this location has taken great care of me and my vehicles. They've always had the tires I needed in stock. They were able to get me in and out in a reasonable amount of time. They have been honest with their estimates. But, most importantly they have honored my tire warranties. I normally do not purchase warranties but I do from Discount Tire and more specifically, this location. They have never made me feel bad about using it when it was warranted. read more

Taking advantage of the Labor Day weekend sales I went to the Discount Tire Store located in Aurora on Smokey Hill and Buckley where I purchased 4 new Good Year all weather tires. Once I came home I noticed that while putting the new tires on my car the servicemen there royally scratched all 4 of my wheels. Took my Audi rim to get a tire I bought from tire rack and they mounted the tire. The rim had no nicks when I took it in since it was a fairy new rim. Got the tire mounted on the rim and went to pick it up. I did not notice the knick till I got home and had mounted the rim on the car. I had taken pictures of the tire mounted on the rim in the parking lot of discount tire before I left and could see the knick in the rim. I doubt discount will do anything for a knick but the rim was backordered for 10 months and my car sat most of last summer so that's why I was frustrated. read more

I spent $2800 at the discount Smoky Hill wheels that were supposed to fit 3 to 6 inch lifts. I got my 6 inch lift. I had to wait for it to get here 2 1/2 months I had my lift kit put on the wheels didn't fit. I tried to take them back to Discount Tire. The one manager was going to work with me, and then the main manager said no so I had to eat $1600 so I went to Les Schwab and they help me with those wheels and got me new wheels I do not recommend Discount Tire Smoky Hill manager has no customer service skills for now on my $1800 for tires are gonna go to Les Schwab and if I need wheels again, I will go through them it was real disappointing. read more

Wanted to rotate my tires and decided to call to see if they had time. Luckily for me they had an appointment that would work with my schedule so I booked it. When I got there, I walked in and checked in at a counter. The staff wear masks and there's plexi at the counters. Social distancing is practiced and customers are asked if they are comfortable driving their vehicles into the bays. The attendant walked around my car to inspect the tires and obtain my mileage from me. Then I waited for them to call me and drove my car into the bay. You can leave the keys or take them. I chose to take them. On hindsight I should have left the keys in the car because I went to Starbucks thinking that I had plenty of time. They were done in 15 minutes or less. I walked back and found that they were waiting on me. Fast, courteous and efficient. Plus they rotated my tires for free since I got them from their company. Can't go wrong. read more

All in all, a very positive experience. Date of Visit: 5/18/18 I called Discount Tire on Thursday to see if they would match Tire Rack pricing and options for a new tire swap; Sam was extremely helpful and basically matched the deal, adding better warranty/hazard coverage than Tire Rack could offer. Within a 15 min phone call I had a better price and an appointment for Friday AM. I was a bit late on Friday and had to wait about 15 mins to get things moving. That said, once the car was on the lift, Garrett and his colleague had all 4 wheels/tires changed within ~25 mins - very impressive. Note: I highly recommend making an appointment; this shop is fast, but being on the books gets you in/out even quicker. The lone star demerit is due to some scratching on the wheels near the lug nuts from using an impact wrench (shudder). I would've/should've requested all wheels to be hand-torqued, as this happens almost undoubtedly at tire shops. That said, luckily these are stock wheels without (too much) sentimental attachment. All in all, a solid shop that I would recommend to others. read more

Brought my car about 2 weeks back for a tire repair. Tire was repaired. When i leave my TPMS is freaking out. I take it back to find out they didnt put one of my TPMS sensors back in. Oh but they found it!! I leave again. All the tire psi is off they didnt even check the air pressure. I got back AGAIN to have the psi corrected. 2 days later I return for another repair because the tire continued ro lose air after leaving the shop. They find another tiny nail. 3 days later the wheel weighs fall off the front tire. 5 visits within 3 days. And 3 days later the weights pop off. I havent had time to bri g it back. Im sure my struts are thanking you!! Today im here with my most precious vehicle. I ask that NO IMPACT GUNS be used on it. This vehicle is in pristine shape. Kid tells me they cant? Since when does a tire store not have a breaker bar? 'Because it could snap a lug' NO ITS SO THEY DONT DAMAGE MY WHEEL OR THE NON ROUNDED WHEEL LUGS. This vehicle just had the wheels off less than 5k ago nothing's too tight unless they over torqued it I will NEVER come back to this store after today. The lazyness here is nauseating. I understand time is money. But its the little things sometimes that keep customers. *EDIT* The amazing young man in the bay is going to fulfill my request to not use impacts on my car. read more

After a day of frustration of trying to get air in my tires last Monday and being turned away by the Highlands Ranch location saying customers would have to come into the lobby and put their names on a list and wait 45 minutes to an hour, I got off work early to try another Discount Tire on Smoky Hill Rd. which was closer to my home and I made it there by 5:45pm only to see the line was down the street for those needing air in their tires. I was so deflated (pun), and waited in line feeling desperate and expecting them to turn me away because the close at 6:00 pm....they worked until 7:00pm to accommodate everyone in line BECAUSE THEY CARED AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS IMPORTANT TO THEM. I cried when I got to the front of the line and thanked them again and again for staying open. They are amazing and that is why I am a forever customer! read more

This location is the reason I will keep coming to discount tires. I originally had my tires placed at the Southlands location, always a long wait time and the employees weren't as helpful. My tire needed replaced and because I had an AWD I needed all tires replaced. This location was so friendly, fast, and really made me feel better about having to purchase new tires so soon after. Everyone here at discount tire are absolute life savers. We got a flat tire at 5pm on a Friday evening and barely made it to a big o tires a few blocks away. We were leaving out of the town the next morning and needed help fast. They treated us terribly, didn't even look at our tire and immediately told us we would need a new one. We declined because we didn't want to give them our business and managed to put a spare on ourselves (in their parking lot) and got to this discount tire.
