Steve is an honest guy. I had my brake pads changed for my 2017 Ford Explorer and it was done quickly (less than three hours). I also had an issue regarding engine shaking when idling during a stop. The initial diagnosis was the engine mount. Steve ordered the part for me and replaced the mount. The shaking was still there and Steve diagnosed it further. When it was determined that it was not the engine mount, he put my old part back and refunded me the cost of the part and did not charge me for labor. He also referred me to a transmission repair shop as that would be the likely cause of the shaking. read more

Be mindful when buying from this retailer. Bought tires 2 years ago not realizing that the stock was 2 years old. I would think that most tire shops would not be selling aged and old stock. I had a flat tire and obviously needed a new one, it was a Saturday afternoon around noon. I went there and no one greeted me or even acknowledged me at first. All the workers seemed very busy, I tried to get people's attention. Finally I asked a guy for help, he then told me I need to go inside and ring the bell. If only I knew it was that simple. The owner then helped me, they didn't have the tire I needed, but put a "loaner" on my car until my new tire came in Monday. It took about 10 minutes to put on. The owner was great with customers, tried to get everyone in and out as fast as they can. I did witness the owner be little and cuss out one of the workers. He was very rude and loud to him. Also very disrespectful to do this in front of customers. Update** I never complained on this review at all I'm saying it was amazing that it took 10 minutes to get my tire fixed and it was amazing service! Everybody I worked with today was extremely helpful and honest about what my car needed and didn't need. They did not upsell me on anything, they sold me four new tires at an incredibly fair price, and the installation was done in a timely manner. It should be noted that if you're looking to book service with them, do not try to do it through the website as the website will tell you that there are no available appointments the same day, but that was not the case. If you call ahead of time, they will schedule you in. Steve, Tony, and the main technician all did a wonderful and thorough job. I made an appointment which they honored. Only gripe - they said the work would be done in one hour and it took 2. Not terrible because they are literally next door to Brent's Deli. I took my work van to this store yesterday believing that my front brake pads were down to 10% (I was told this by an oil changing service that wanted me to buy new brake pads and new rotors). Steve at Discount Tire called me and said that they would refuse to replace my brake pads because I had 90% left on my pads (they easily could have replaced them and charged me for it). At first I was hesitant because it's my first time coming here, and I'm a girl...we all know how mechanics will take advantage of girls...but I am genuinely sooooo pleased with the service! 10's across the board, Steve looked at my brakes, told me what's wrong, and gave me a good price compared to others. Luckily 1 hour before they closed, they were able to see me and get my tire patched in less than 5 minutes at a reasonable price. I was out of there and back on the road to Dodger Stadium in no time. BEWARE! Sadly, we were disappointed by the arrogance and unprofessionalism of manager Steve. We waited for hours and went to his shop 3 times to get the job completed for our Lexus which required 4 tires and 5 sensors. No apology received and just excuses.
