If I could give them no stars then I would. This store is shady and tried to rip me off. I took my car here on June 7th to check on a tire that had low air pressure. I asked how much it would cost and I was told that they do this service for free. I waited for 2 hours for them to tell me that they had located a single plug that could be the cause of the leaking air. They indicated that to repair the plug they'd have to take it out and put an entirely new one in. However, they believed their plugs to be too small for the hole so they said they could not complete the repair. Because of this reason they deemed my tire "unsafe to drive on" and refused to put my tire back on my car. The only option they provided me was to purchase a brand new tire. This was absurd to me that they were forcing me to purchase a tire or I wouldn't be able to leave. At this point I told them to put my spare on, because I realized that they just wanted my money. After I left, I discovered that they didn't even check the air on my spare and I had been driving on it at 20psi when it's rated for 60psi! So they actually made it very unsafe to drive on it. And to my surprise, upon taking my tire to another shop, we discovered a brand new screw placed in my original tire, the one that they would not put back on. The screw was not their before, as they had explained to me that there was only a single plug that needed to be fixed. This leads me to believe that they deliberately placed this in my tire after I said I was not going to buy a new tire. This is retaliation, bullying, and beyond horrible costumer service. Needless to say... I WILL NEVER GO TO A DISCOUNT TIRES ever again. read more

I brought my car in for a low tire pressure warning. As I was on my way to Phoenix, I needed the tire checked. I waited 4 hours until the time they had been given to me for completion, unfortunately the time got extended for over an hour late. They are a very busy store and everybody is very nice, but they need to streamline their flat repair. One big positive is that behind the store they run an air check station. you just drive up and they will check and adjust your tire pressure for free. bery fast. if you have to go here probably make an appointment if you can, these visits are prioritize. read more

If you haven't discovered Discount Tire yet, it's time you did. The best pit crew member I use to keep my cars rolling smoothly. The tires they offer are high quality and range from just get me there safely to high performance and winter tires. We have their tires on a full sized truck (3rd set) Subaru (2nd set) and an Alfa Romeo, and they are great. After you buy your tires, that is only the beginning as rotations are free and you can purchase a certificate on your tire that covers free replacement. This year alone I have had two sidewall screws (or nails) that resulted in a replacement redemption. This is the same great customer service that I've gotten for at least 25 years. Yes and the drive up air pressure check is excellent for AZ where temperature swings can affect tire pressure. You don't need an appointment, and you can just sit in your vehicle and they adjust your pressure for you. The best NEW thing is the website interface that allows you to make appointments easily and the service tracking once you've checked your vehicle in. It's seamless! I do lots of scheduling and shopping on line and the scheduling and tracking are better than any interface I've used. I highly recommend Discount Tires. Had a large screw in my tire super stressful and yeah it had already been a struggle all week so this was the cheery on top lol to say the least! So... Changed it to the spare and headed to this location. In less than an hour they patched up my tire replaced it and rebalanced it onto my car and charged me ...nothing! We have been a customer for 20 years, after purchasing a car and needing tires we opted for the Mch Defender tires, as we were told these are the best tires that would have 70,000 miles on them. Today we went in to have a hole repaired in one of our tires and were told our tires will need to be replaced soon as they will be in the the yellow soon. My husband told him we have only put 20,000 miles on them, which they confirmed, and the service specialist said they are wearing out fast. The warranty is set up to fail. We have never had this issue with tires from Discount and since it was acknowledged that the tires where wearing more quickly then they should be, this should have been taken care of. EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!! RVers hear this! There are 2 Discount Tire locations in Flagstaff, AZ. The one on 89 is close to KOA Holiday and has huge bays. I went to that location first by mistake and was sent to Milton Road where my appointment had been set and ordered tires had arrived. Nice place! Was hesitant upon arriving at the other location when I saw the size of the bays and the lot, even for my smaller Class C RV. Slamming busy, line out the door, no problem! It moves with efficiency. My dog allowed in and around there? Yes! Can't use the lift? They jacked it up using 7 tons worth of Jacks in the parking lot! I was respectful of their space but did ask the questions I had and got to watch the install! Kody and the other 2 guys on it did an Amazing job, being careful, thorough and Fast! Buffed the rust off the lugs and studs! Confirmed my bearings were still greased on the front wheels! I was complete in an hour on 6 new KO2s. Simply awesome right? No, enter Ron the manager who knew my old tires just 5 months old and 3500 miles on them were in too awesome shape not to be sold. True. I just needed the 3 ply sidewall hence my upgrade. He worked with me to get them sold and installed my tires or Her rig the very next day during an incredibly busy time! Ron is smart and kind, genuinely a great guy and all the guys there follow suit. In my 35 years of driving, I've never had an amazing experience at a tire shop, fine and good but have never seen the extra mile like that! They sure know how to keep my business, and I'm picky! Also they will pay to replace any tire they install for just a few dollars should anything go wrong. Bank on them. Enough said. My friends and I had issues filling the air in our tires after staying overnight in flagstaff so someone suggested we come here and we were so pleased with their service! These guys are great, so customer friendly oriented. Not only do they have a safety check where you can pull in anytime and have your tires checked/refilled, they are so prompt at helping anyone immediately upon entering the store, with or without appt., and assist those who have flats or other tire problems right away. I made an appt. to have new tires put on my SUV. When I arrived for my appt., and upon waiting about 45 minutes, I was told they did not have my tires in stock. The manager, Ron S., apologized profusely for the error. Although I was disappointed and a bit annoyed (drove from Williams and DID have an appt. to have those specific tires installed), I understood things happen and we are all human. When I told Ron I could not wait for the tires to come back into stock because I was driving to CA the very next day, he took action. He put on a brand-new set of tires, albeit not quite the perfect size for my car, that would safely get me to CA and back. He told me to just come back WHENEVER I returned from CA. When I did so about a week later, he installed the tires I was originally supposed to get. No extra charge. It is satisfying to know that there are still some companies with ethics and customer service employees/managers who accept responsibility for the business' mistake, but also make it right! Ron went way above and beyond what I would have expected. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would, I just wanna start my saying a huge thank you to the staff working tonight. Me and my girlfriend were snowboarding all day and when we came back to the car the tire was flat. We had to get back to queen creek Arizona. My tire is from Big O so I was calling every single one in the area to see if they could help me because it was only like 4 months old. Both locations said they could not help me due to them closing in 30 min. So I called discount tire and explained my situation and they said to come in. Not to mention they also closed in 30 minutes. So I rushed over there and they got my car all finished up in no time at all, everyone was so friendly and definitely made the crappy situation way better knowing people really cared. Long story short is discount tire is the way to go, they just simply care more. Also I didn't mention that they stayed 45 minutes after close and on top of that didn't charge me for the fix due to it being simple. In town for a graduation and just as we started to Phoenix, the pressure sensor in mom's car lit up. My go to is Discount Tire and luckily there's one in town. We got there as usual they provide a free tire and air check and that's when we noticed the tire had a screw on it. Totally not safe to keep driving and though my mom had a warranty with a competing tire shop, they put on the spare and expedited it so we could get to the other shop before they closed. Simply amazing customer service. This is why they are my preferred shop back home for both my vehicles and my mom was pleasantly surprised as well. Ordered tires online and made an appointment to get them installed (30% shorter wait time when you buy and book online; and I know this bc I was on hold for over 10 min and the automated voice only told me a dozen times). I was told I could drop my car off at 8 AM as my appt was at 9:15 and I arranged for a coworker to pick me up and take me to work after the drop off. I was then told at my 8 am drop off that I could wait and they would do it now so I sent said coworker on her way because I chose to wait, big mistake. After she left they informed me that they didn't have my tires so I had to Uber to work, nearly $1000 later whats another $10 right? I called at 11:15 to make sure my car was ready so I could pick it up on my break and they hadn't even started on it and it was "next in line" even though my appt was at 9:15. Apparently the tires had "just arrived". Also, because they had already taken the tires off my car at 8 AM I couldn't even track the status of the work bc they had noted it as completed at 8:11 AM, what a wonderful turn around time for them and a way to screw over customers. When I called again at 3:30 to make sure it was ready all they said was oh yeah it should definitely be ready, they didn't check on it or anything, not even asking which car was mine. Communication and customer service were terrible. The only person who actually had decent customer service was the person who helped me initially when I went to drop off my car, I could tell he was genuinely sorry for the mix up with me staying and my tires not being there. read more

Picked up a nail in flagstaff on my way home to Phoenix. They close at 6pm however when I pulled in at 6:35 pm and explained my situation they were glad to help out and get me safely back on the road. I am very appreciative of their act of kindness on this because they could have just told me no they were closed. Also didn't get charged anything. When I explained that all I needed was the patch job and I could change the tire out in the parking lot since I knew they closed 35 minutes ago, they insisted that I pull in the shop and let them handle everything. The staff member who filled my tires found the issue--a nasty screw in the treat--and provided candid advice. Getting checked into the store was easy and the service was friendly. It wasn't immediately evident if my tire would be repairable, but I was assured there was an exact replacement in stock. Fortunately, the tire was repairable, which Discount Tire does for free, and I was out of the store and back on my trip in less than an hour. I wish I had the names of our sales person and all young men and women who assisted us with our tire purchase. They have a great team. I called and rescheduled my appointment twice for the same day. I had to drive slow because I had bad tires and the road was wet. The team here waited for me, very patiently must I add. Every time I called someone answered the phone and each person was very courteous and patient with me as I updated my location. I wasn't sure if I needed all four tires changed and they checked my tires for me and helped me to make a choice. I decided to buy 4 tires so they could all be safe and good for another 65,000 miles. I purchased warranty. The tires I had weren't available anywhere else. Another thing I am grateful for. I'm just so very thankful for their help. A business is only amazing when the team works together very well and each member of the team is very kind and courteous to everyone, that's what i experienced here. We felt welcomed. I brought my brand new 2023 4runner in on July 3rd for a spare change/replacement. During the service one tech accidentally nicked the paint on my bumper with the spare tool. I contacted Discount about this, they told me to go to a local auto body shop down the street to put touch up paint on it. I explained it was literally a brand new vehicle and I didn't want a sloppy job to repair it. I wanted it to be done correctly and to be in the condition it was in prior to bringing my vehicle in. I contacted Discount Corporate claims and they then refused to take responsibility for it or repair it. I have pictures of my vehicle prior to the service to prove they caused the damage. It is really a shame that they are so dishonest and unprofessional and that they won't take responsibility for it and make it right. I will never go back. Avoid this location! read more

I do not recommend this place AT ALL. I had bought four new tires and while they were being installed, they broke one of my hubcaps. They had to order a new one which took a couple of weeks to receive. When I made an appointment to have the new hubcap replaced, they damaged my car again with the carjack in the wrong spot under the car. Now I'm forced to go to another location to see if I can get the specific part that they broke. They prioritize their efficiency over quality. I will not be coming back 100%. read more

Last winter I am driving in Flagstaff, we are 7,000 feet above sea level here in Flagstaff and things can change with the weather at the drop of a dime. I have to stop suddenly and I'm skidding, I check and my tires are bald!!! So I happen upon Discount Tires: I walk in and the place is some what busy, and shortly I'm greeted by a gentleman who check the tread on my tires and we begin to discuss my driving habits, the mileage and condition of my truck and the VAST selection of tires they have to address my tire situation. Mean while I can smell the complementary popcorn in the back ground and I'm hungry, the distinctive squill of the air impact wrenches are going full tilt. The gentleman and I narrow the selection of tires ( did I mention it was VAST) down to three brands of tires and I eventually settle on a set that is by far the cheapest in Flagstaff. Fast forward to this past Saturday; I'm watching the golf channel and my phone lights up, I have a email from Discount that reminds me of a free tire rotation and allows me to schedule the appointment. I show up today and get the same high quality customer service. The place is clean a little noisy and it is usually busy.
