Tough one to rate: stopped in for a brake check/service. My rig is oversized (height mostly) and there had been some debate if it would fit on their lift. After some discussion (and my insistence quite frankly) the repairs would be done at the side lot where their air lines reach. The lead tech didn't want to deal with the extra hassle and refused to work on my vehicle. The manager was very accommodating and attempted to get some other techs to work on it; but at this point the whole experience and unnecessary drama was enough for us. After 2 hours of waiting for some other techs to free up, the manager called some other repair facilities to help accommodate. Management (Brad and a helper, Mike) were very professional and wanted to help get us on our way; but the lead tech wasn't going to do it and I have a feeling the other techs stood by his side. Funny thing, I was about to tip the lead tech $50 for the inconvenience of moving the hand jack rather than using the hydraulic lift. I've used Big O before all around the Country and will probably continue to do so. Again, 5 stars to Brad for trying to balance the drama and get our rig looked at. As I parked at the hotel, the low tire lights came in the dash It was too late to do anything about it so I drove it to a gas station, got a tire gage and checked all 4 Tires One was only 10#. So I filled that tire with air and came here. I Was in line when they opened. Lucky for me, the tire could be patched. I was out of there within the hour. Perfect! read more

I have always used Big O but ended up with a flat tire in Flagstaff. Since I trust the name, I took my car there for the tire repair. For some reason, the front right door was opened by the service men. When my car was returned to me, my glovebox was ransacked, my console was opened and ransacked, the coins on the console for parking meters and tolls, amounting to several dollars were taken. I was appalled at the lack of respect for my property and my belongings. My passenger door was covered in greasy fingerprints, inside and out. This location has serious management issues. Our Jeep started smoking 20 minutes north of Flagstaff and this is the only place who would get us in same day. We talked to Brad who got us in right away, and then they spent an hour diagnosing the issue. Luckily it wasn't a major repair, just an overfilled power steering fluid reservoir causing an overflow. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I took 4 bead lock UTV tires and wheels to Mark at the Big O Tire across from the old Walgreens warehouse. I told him I would pick them up Monday so no hurry. 5,,, yes 5 bead lock bolts were missing!!!! AND,, one wheel and tire would not hold air when I got it home,,, TWO of the bolts were broken off in the wheel,,, A BRAND NEW WHEEL!!! I was on a round trip in west usa with my wife. I have had a screw puncture in front left tyre on our rented car. We went there at 9 o clock. They sad we have to wait 1 and a half hour for the repaire. We sat in the car and after 10 mins technician guy came for the car to fix it. That was 20 mins. At the end they didn't want me to pay for it. We were very suprised and we left some tip for the technician guy. The job was excellent and very fast. We brought our car in today for a tire rotation and asked if they could also check our brakes as they are making a grinding sound. Over the phone we were told both services could be done. My husband asked to be called when they figured out what was wrong with the brakes and they agreed. The call we received was "we are done" and when asked about the brakes they said "there was some debris but we can't get parts" my husband asked for more of an explanation and they simply said it is good now. He went in to pick up the vehicle and again tried to get more information about what was wrong with the brakes and the employee stated " there was debris but we don't have parts." And my husband said "well how long do parts take?" And the man stated "if we have them we have them, and if we don't we don't." So he walked away realizing they didn't want to help at all, nor did they have an explanation. We could have gone else where if they'd have told us over the phone that they weren't willing to provide the service we had asked for. Wasted our time and our day to have the brakes checked. WARPED FRONT ROTORS INSTALLED IN MY CAR AT THIS BIG O TIRES IN FLAGSTAFFF Mechanics here installed warped front rotors on my Toyota Camry. Confirmed in writing from a mechanic at Brake Masters in Los Angeles, where I had repairs done since their was shaking in the brakes that made it dangerous to drive--this writing still printed on my receipt. The mechanic at Brake Masters saw the previous work done to my brakes and knew that I deserved a full refund, so that is why he wrote it on my receipt. CAR LECTURES AS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE I came back to this Big 'O Tired, after my drive to Los Angeles, and requested a full refund. Two mechanics tried to give me an educational lecture on brakes, but I just wanted my money back. They sold me bad rotors, and brake damage ensued. After a series of having this issue being passed on to different men at the counter, the final man asked, "Why didn't I just go back to Big 'O Tires in California, if the shaking was so bad, because I had a warrantee?" I said, "I didn't want to go back to Big 'O Tires, why would I?" Seriously. What the hell. This person told me he'd first issue a check from the mechanic who did the service for $140, the cost of the work done at Brake Masters. My boyfriend said, "But you sold us bad rotors." This man said, "We can't give you a refund on parts that are still in your car now can we?" I said, "Why would I ask to get parts taken out of my car with my refund?" And he fell silent. SCREW THE COUPONS, JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE In the end, the employees had me wait for a half-an-hour for them to actually sit down and write the $140 check, which should have been more. Now, I have damaged parts in my car, and stark memories of bad service both mechanically and in person. So to do my part as a caring citizen, I'd really suggest going somewhere else. Even if those Big 'O Tire coupons in the mail look really enticing. The men at this shop in Flagstaff have the capacity to behave like con artists. Watch out for their warped rotors. read more

We had an oil change and they didn't put the oil filter on correctly. A week later the oil light came on so we took our vehicle back. They told us the oil filter hadn't been properly tightened and we lost all the oil. This ruined the engine. We asked for a little compensation for us to replace the engine, which is estimated at $7,500.00 and they refused. The only reason I gave them one star is I had no other choice. We also had a fuel pump put in and they had put in the wrong hose With a larger diameter from from the fuel pump to the hard line. We thought we could trust them with a simple oil change. Oh wells. Don't trust them with anything. read more
